Great experience with HubSpot CMS with both website maintenance and content creation.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to do internal linking within HubSpot. The functions are easy to use and there is tons of training available in HubSpot Academy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pet peeve: When you search for something, for example in blogs, pick a blog to look at, use the "back" arrow to go back to the listing, your search results are gone. Would be nice if the results of your search query would still be there when going back so you don't have to retype your search query.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have our main site and 3 subdomains all in HubSpot, so we can now track everything better with it all being under one "roof". I have recently found the "Topics" tool under "SEO" and love it! Being able to create content/topic clusters and then see the traffic for each is outstanding.
HubSpot CMS Helps Us Look Much Larger than We Are
What do you like best about the product?
The CMS Hub is really easy to use. I am not a website/CMS expert and we are a Marketing team of 2, but multiple companies have asked how we made ourselves look so big.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are finicky/random ways the platform doesn't work well or as expected. One example is if you paste text into the platform, you have to paste plain text or it will mess up your formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We look like a much larger company than we are. The cost isn't bad either!
Extremely helpful onboarding program and customer support
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of CMS hub is the customer support. If you don't know how to do something, you can get on the phone with customer support in seconds and figure it out. I love the drag and drop editor and how easy they make it to create a beautiful website. I created a full website in a matter of a weeks time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt that the response time of some loading processes was a bit slow. The drag and drop editor was great, I just felt that the loading times were slow as I tried to re-situate elements. I also had a hard time clicking on the columns or rows rather than the elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of connecting our website to our CRM is the main issue we have solved. Everything integrates perfectly. I love the reporting that comes from it. One of the benefits is seeing WHO is on our site and what they are spending time on.
The best CMS software!
What do you like best about the product?
The numerous ready built templates and modules that you can mix and match are amazing and so handy to have. The Drag and drop builder makes creating websites quick and easy. The HubSpot support is 10/10
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't found a downside yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All in one system for sales and marketing. In one system I can create website pages, landing pages, forms, emails and more and have sales and upper management be able to view all the data.
Best place for marketing and for database
What do you like best about the product?
The way I can do marketing and how I can apply it for better engagement
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes I don´t get the notifications that I am expecting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way I can manage my database and how to program tasks
Making relations with customers
What do you like best about the product?
CRM updation and user-friendly with a number of options
What do you dislike about the product?
Export and import the documents what we uploaded in CRM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A number of marketing mails in single click
Good for marketing, slightly inconvenient for development
What do you like best about the product?
Marketing, Analytics, User Trackability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot limitations, table view, can't edit if we try to edit one. It just moves around; sometimes code doesn't work as expected, 10k storages, 10 hubdb calls per page, limitations on giving feedback per user, no way to compare what changes between revisions. Modules cant be nested
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rapid Development. Marketing, User tracking
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's suitable for marketing purposes, tracking and analytics. But not highly recommended for development
Time savings and maintenance safety
What do you like best about the product?
With HubSpot CMS, I am able to facilitate the maintenance of the companies' marketing team, ensuring safety and time saving for the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss blocking some HubDB tables or templates by users. Today you either have access to everything or you don't. I would like to give different permissions on these items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With HubDB, we were able to transform more than 500 pages in a few tables, transforming hours of maintenance in a few minutes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is possible to create 100% customizable templates. A bad experience with 1 MarketPlace template does not represent the potential of the tool. The HubSpot CMS allows total freedom of maintenance, depending on how the template is created.
The Hub has me on point, not only with tracking my calls but also when I need to assign my calls .
What do you like best about the product?
The Hub has me on point, I love that I can check the box and right click to keep track of the client list that really helps me keep track. not only with tracking my calls but also allowing me to assign other agents important tasks. and allowing me to see just home many calls I make in a day and track by week, as well as allowing me to see where I left off when I get sidetracked. I find it really easy to use and understand I will recommend this software to all my colleagues. thank you so much for this product. it's made my work life easy and clean and made it very understandable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that when I close the tab for my contacts and I go back and reopen the Hub it takes me back to square one and I have to remember where I left off from the day before. I would like it to open where I left off from. even if I close out and reopen the HUB, say for instance I did 120 pages I would like to mark all the calls and close out of the HUB at the end of the day, the next day come back and start on page 120.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that I have been having is losing my place, I do about 100 pages a day of 25-50 calls and I sometimes lose where I left off even though I mark the client one by one. my strategy is to do as many calls as possible and if there is a way to section off the call that has been made in a day, so that when I reopen the Hub I can take off where I left off, without confusing the already been made calls with the to-do calls . it would be nice that each call that has been made would be marked as already been called .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes especially to Telvista with Fios Verizon the other company that I work with
HubSpot CMS is a wonderful solution with some understandable limitations
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about the new HubSpot CMS is that it is EASY EASY EASY to use. Literally, you have a drag-and-drop interface, and the settings guide you through things like page SEO, and campaign organization. It's wonderful because (obviously) it's incredibly integrated with the rest of HubSpot's services, so if you are using anything else from HubSpot, the CMS is a natural next step for you. Likewise, if you don't have coding knowledge or money to invest in it, you could be well-served by turning to a solution like HubSpot's CMS, which is built for marketing first instead of web design, unlike many other popular no-code-required CMS competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are just a few things that do cause issues or inconvenience from time to time. First, you are limited with what you can build simply because it is a drag-and-drop interface, which means you have the rely on the pre-built pieces. Although they are very customizable, there are some limitations to what you can do -- don't get too fancy. Second, there are occasional code mess-ups for whatever reason either within the text (usually something simple yet annoying like font colors or sizes that won't change without you going in and fixing the code -- usually this means removing duplicate code), or on the pages themselves -- for example, you want to include a selection box in your form, but it isn't showing up -- you might have to add some code to the header to fix that. The final problem is that sometimes, depending on how much info you have on the page (and this depends on your machine as well), the platform can be sluggish which causes problems when building or editing pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before switching to HubSpot CMS, we actually used Wix for a bit because we didn't have any in-house coding. Prior to Wix, we were on WordPress with a web development company that kept us hostage by charging exorbitant rates for changes to their extremely strange proprietary site code. After being burned there, we knew we couldn't rely on a custom build at this point in time, so Wix didn't prove to work for our size, and we came across HubSpot CMS after we began using HubSpot marketing automation tools. HubSpot CMS has allowed us to solve the problems of being unable to make changes to our own site in a timely manner, being unable to keep style and brand identity congruent across our website, and having our website truly integrated with our marketing operations.
