Love what they are doing with CMS Hub, still a bit buggy but the vision is great
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that this exists is what I like best--that HubSpot offers truly end-to-end marketing in a simple platform--the ability to personalize web pages and experiences using my Hubspot marketing data. I have some gripes but please don't get me wrong, this is a game changing option for marketers at small to medium sized enterprises--enabling fast, cheap and easy web redesigns of formerly difficult to use WordPress sites. Creating forms that are integrated with your marketing automation engine, integrated with your webinar program...it is incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't take for granted that CMS systems like this that require very little, if any, developer involvement are completely changing the game. I created a new website for my client in less than a week (I'm a demand gen marketer - not a designer, developer or other technical web specialist). I have also created sites on Wix for smaller businesses and used WordPress (with developer help) in the past. The user experience is good but not quite as good as Wix. I hope they take a good look at what Wix offers, the ease of use, simple and AMPLE design options--and try to do the same for CMS Hub. I would have given a 9/10 but I've had minor annoying SEO issues caused by the code creating duplicate pages which is hurting our SEO audit scores. I don't know yet if it is an issue with the paid template we used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems solved include marketing needing to work with designers and developers to make web changes in the past. Now we can make changes in real-time in minutes. The CMS Hub is user friendly and solving SEO issues was easy (with the exception of a few outstanding things I'm troubleshooting with the HubSpot team). We've created new content easily and are using all the features of CMS Hub and Hubspot overall to automate much of the sales and marketing process. Launching chat with a click of the button was another favorite feature, and the fact that it is integrated so our sales team isn't using another portal to manage the chat conversations.
Relevantly simple to follow documentation and configure without developer involvement
What do you like best about the product?
Template search and optimization suggestion engine
What do you dislike about the product?
Dislike that there is no middle ground for businesses which are just above small size, need to purchase some additional modules where the base product is expensive, to begin with, at least for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The marketing department can manage without dev department involvement. Basic CSS skills are sufficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider headless CMS for custom solutions
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Not being someone who can code etc. the CMS makes updating the website very easy. When migrating our website over, the team were great and our website is better functioning now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are things that you need support at HubSpot to help with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to create new web pages
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to learn the platform before diving in
Nice and Powerful Marketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like this is an all-in-one platform for marketing, sales, and customer support, all in one place. You can do automated tasks, like workflows to create customer lists and also sending emails depending of many variables you can collect from the forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Page templates can be kind of difficult to program with the different variables. Not a good responsive design by default so I suggest to use a CSS responsive framework for developing your pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are making a lot of customers engagement and also creating list of customers to offer different sales and offers. We are using workflows, customer tracking, automated emails and developing web pages and landing pages.
Hubspot CMS for a Community College District
What do you like best about the product?
Easy tool to train new users on, nice umbrella covering multiple services
What do you dislike about the product?
Some portions are non-intuitive; some of the help documentation lacked clarity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My community college district website was previously built in Wordpress which was unwieldy and our outreach to students and the community lacked nuance and accountability, HubSpot has addressed these needs
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot is packed with potential for managing an organization and tailoring messaging/online presence to your audience
Migrated multiple websites to the HubSpot CMS with no regrets
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of the Hubspot CMS is the interoperability between the marketing and sales tech stack. The Hubspot CMS helps fully facilitate the needs of the sales & marketing go-to market team and turns our website into a demand generation machine.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transition to Hubspot Themes strengthened the CMS. However, there is still some minor restriction related to mobile builds and site speed. Could improve lazy load functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Hubspot CMS allows us to update our website quickly; we are no longer dependent on a developer. It is fully integrated with the marketing automation suite and has allowed us to cut down on the cost and maintenance of third parties tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If marketing owns the website, this is the tool for you.
HubSpot CMS Hub : A Quick Review
What do you like best about the product?
For the most part, the platform is straightforward to use and navigate. I don't often run into issues I cannot solve quickly. It's is just as intuitive and easy to use as its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes feel that it doesn't have as many aesthetically pleasing elements as other platforms. I could do with a new set of graphic elements to utilize more contemporary design elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot can help you optimize your website so that you can turn more browsers into buyers. Built-in analytics make me more productive instead of searching around for the data I need.
Very powerful CMS tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to do many things on one platform, for example, can create a custom module from scratch, manage your contacts and emails, lead capturing, etc., you don't need any extra tools for your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like that I can't search for data on hubdb; at least there should be a filter to search records. You always have to scroll down to find data and it is time-consuming records.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am creating a webpage with different functionalities, managing workflow, datas, and contacts, and also analyzing the performance of the application, solving SEO challenges.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend
Hubspot CMS review
What do you like best about the product?
Is an easy way to design a website and administrate at the same time. You don't have to be a designer or a developer. The drag and drop method makes it really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Te cost. I want to update to CMS Enterprise, but the difference between these 2 was enormous. It's the only thing I will say I dislike. HubSpot is great! I really love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time. I renovated the website from the company I worked in, in less than a month and in 2 languages. Not only is it an easy way to do a website, but you can also see if your website is working, how many people have seen it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't waste your time and consider HubSpot as your first choice, you won't regret it.
