Single interface for web and crm
We wouldn't be where we are today without HubSpot CMS Hub
What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to learn and use, and it just works every time - all the time. CMS Hub delivered more than we expected, super easy to learn and use. It kicks A.. over other options we weighed for sure!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some buttons or tools take some getting used to, but we can figure it out wo calling support. Maybe a mode where you could turn on a help or guidance mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the pandemic, we lost staff, and I had to jump in and figure out what to do. We got help from Hubspot to convert our old site to CMS Hub and it is just great - we even won and Sales and Marketing "SAMMY" Technology award because of it!
Relatively easy to build pages and add content.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to copy pages, edit and publish. Can get pages live quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major. Some items require a developer or an experienced user to get formatting right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pretty basic. We didn't have a web hosting platform before! Integrated webpages with cta's with CRM

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can create quality email marketing campaigns, integrate different applications with Hubspot, and upload contacts in one database.

I do not have much negative things to say about hubspot

It allos us to manage a website, send emails, and have a database all in one platform.
Great CMS for marketing and sales
What do you like best about the product?
Once you learn the navigation of the menus, it is easy to get to the pages or templates, emails, etc. that you want to edit. Creating page names and URLs is simple, as are redirects. If you change a template or page name, HubSpot automatically updates all connected resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Forms tool doesn't allow you to assign IDs or classes to fields and buttons, so it is difficult to target them using Javascript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SImplifies the editing of text and images so that non-technical team members can make changes.

What do you like best about the product?
Drag and drop design tools are rather intuitive and make cosmetic changes and updates quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Simple changes can result in major SEO problems and if you aren't a web developer it will be virtually impossible to fix without hiring or outsourcing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easier to make quick changes and updates to the website that would have taken much longer to figure out using Wordpress.
This tool has great potential, but it requires a clear protocol to achieve results.
What do you like best about the product?
The HubSpot CMS is a powerful tool that enables you to build and customize your website's infrastructure. You can use various modules to adjust the design and functionality of your pages according to your needs and preferences. The HubSpot CMS is ideal for collaborating with non-coders who can modify the site's contents with little technical knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, you get a sense that it has excellent documentation. But I find using the modules quite confusing. Its docs don't provide enough info about what variables are available or if you must encapsulate them within regular HTML tags to make them work.
The lack of a testing environment makes it exceptionally painful to develop new sites or re-work modules. There isn't an easy way to create a copy of your prod site for testing. Also, if you are actively making changes to modules, you must make sure that if changes are made on the portal, you need to download them on your local dev environment before making other changes. For example, defining modules is more straightforward on the exit than on code, but altering its appearance (HTML, CSS) is better supported with an IDE.

One of the latest features of this platform is the integration of well-known JS frameworks, such as React. This is still a practical option, but it promises to speed up development.

What do you like best about the product?
Super intuitive and straight forward. Easy to figure out if you have used some of the basic CMS systems out there like wordpress, shopify, etc.

The reporting is a little cumbersome and hard to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is allowing my internal team to edit the website without developers help.
Hubspot CMS is the perfect tool for a small marketing team
What do you like best about the product?
I like that all the tools are easy to navigate, the UI is so well layed out and that there is a lot of functionality all in one tool, you don't need a ton of plugins like other CMS systems. I also like that they are constantly innovating and creating new functionality, the new AI functions we have been testing are a huge asset to content creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The themes that come native with the system are poor, you really have to purchase a third party theme to get a decent looking site. To create customized components with Hubspot's proprietary code language requires someone on staff with a good grasp of coding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot solves several problems for us, it is our website backbone, we use it to create marketing landing pages for campaigns and events and we also use it to host our blog. We have also started using it to host our videos recently.
