Easy to use and straight forward tool
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is explained well, and it is very simple to use. When constantly updating information in the back end using hubspot ensures that you can do it quickly and easily. I am not hugely technical so being confident in the back end of website, makes me much more efficient in my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
when uploading photos to website can be hard to figure out what ones you have uploaded in the back end before you publish it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
you can quickly and easily adjust your website. I like that you are able to double check what the page you are editing looks like before you publish the page. It is also very easy to track how customers are using the website, which is super helpful when you are trailing new methods.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend
With a developers help making websites is easy.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that our development team is able to build custom modules for us to dab and drop and use for any and all future webpages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they HubSpot had more free modules and templates to use inside of the HubSpot marketplace. That’s one thing Wordpress wins at in comparison to HubSpot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to drag and drop our own custom modules inside of HubSpot in order to make our own webpages. We can build our own forms and send leads to our sales team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot is great! Would highly recommend them just for their marketing and web tools.
40K visitors a month for a 5 man company!
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is easy to use. I knew nothing about internet marketing when we started with Hubspot. Now with over 40,000 visitors a month to our site and the phone ringing off the hook, I can honestly say that without Hubspot, our business wouldn't be what it is today!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the more advanced template features and more sophisticated offerings. For me, I don't need it. I like simplicity. For very corporate teams, I can see the value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we overcame was staying in business! Working on our website every day and learning from the platform, we did what it took to not only stay in business but thrive. Click to call is one of my favorite features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's like a gym membership, if you don't use it almost daily, you won't get much out of it. Learning from the tutorials that Hubspot offers teaches you what you need to know to make your website a success. When we adopted Hubspot I didn't use any social media. Anything website related was foreign to me. I jumped in and put the product to work on our website. When our phones are ringing off the hook, and our group is losing their minds as they can't keep up- I am celebrating in my office!
HubSpot Website Pages
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of HubSpot's website pages is that the structure once you understand it is consistent and reliable and fairly customizable considering how easy it is to use. The support built into HubSpot is also superb and the staff usually have a quick fix or answer to your questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
My number one complaint with HubSpot with website development related things is that you and your team can't work on pages simultaneously. The available modules and templates are okay but there isn't as much of a free selection as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast and easy adjustability of web properties without major coding overhauls. I have realized that there are added analytics and customizable options that were surprising to me.
Hubspot Ads
What do you like best about the product?
How all the various analytics from the different ad sources are in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
You lose FB ad editing functionality, as well as FB's attribution window tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Edge-case, but we offloaded the website from engineering and moved the ownership under marketing. Marketing has full access to edit templates/modules/css libraries.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It doesn't include custom objects, if your structure fits in Hubspot's model then you are good.
A great tool for a young business
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot allows our company to execute our inbound/outbound marketing, social media, lead generation, lead nurturing, and content strategies through one easy-to-use platform. Our company helps firms integrate disparate software platforms and business processes – we are finally taking a page from our own handbook to enhance our marketing and communications strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Hubspot CRM tool is not fully baked, and integrated Salesforce and Hubspot has proven to be more challenging than we first assumed it would be. The interface could stand to be a little more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot allows us to be more strategic with our marketing than we would be otherwise. It helps focus out sales team on outcomes that are more targeted, more likely to succeed, as opposed to grandiose generalized campaigns that are most costly than effective.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot is a little like exercise – the more effort your put into it, the more benefits you get out of it. If you want to use it strictly to execute email marketing campaigns, great. But it offers much more than just outbound email. We're only beginning to scratch the surface of what Hubspot can offer, and we're excited to continue the journey.
Best marketing CRM out there
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is the back-bone of my marketing campaigns. From marketing automation (workflows, sequences, lead score), to landing page development and hosting, HubSpot's features enable me to generate quality inbound leads.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the de-duplicate tool for both the contacts and companies was more accurate - sometimes the program identifies contacts with the same last name as duplicates, even if its a family run business. I'm hopefully HubSpot continues to build out reporting functionality for sequences. As is, I don't have good reporting into which emails bounced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I rarely have problems with HubSpot, just some more advanced feature requests. The benefits I've realized across email marketing, social media, content marketing, analytics & reporting have been massive. Since running our marketing department through HubSpot, our cost to acquire each customer has gone down, and revenue growth has steadily increased.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've tried Marketo, Pardot and HubSpot. HubSpot is by far the best.
HubSpot from a designers perspective
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use. Recent UI improvements help streamline a lot of the work I do. The cleanliness of the UI/UX has improved quite a bit over the last 4 years. The webpage features are powerful and easy to use, taking a ready made page and cloning it to make another page that you can then tweak quickly is a big time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the editing panels were larger. They are draggable vertically but it cuts off the html and can be disorienting until you get used to it. I have used a few website building tools and usually just revert to writing all of my html/css in an editor then uploading the code. I still do that in HubSpot which may be my own limitation but having a place to edit my stylesheets next to the html with a live update would be extremely nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot helps us keep marketing and sales on the same page. The biggest benefit to me as a designer is building custom modules that can be used across our website. Making a nav change in one place rather than hitting 20 pages saves so much time. This also allows for quicker iteration, once I have a couple of modules in place I can build out an entire website in a fraction of tools I have used in the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot Academy has a ton of resources if you have a particular question or problem area
Huge fan of the entire Marketing Hub
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot's Marketing Hub has been instrumental for our company starting and then continuing to manage our inbound marketing efforts. I personally love the workflows to help capture contacts and continuing nurturing them after they download a piece of content or interact with any combination of emails, web pages, blog posts, etc. I honestly don't know what we'd do without HubSpot. It's like the extra member of our team who, even though it never laughs at my jokes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a dashboard/report for number of content downloads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we built our pillar/cluster pages, the content strategy tools has been priceless. It's really helped us map out and organize our content to make sure it's all working together and we're not just throwing things out there and hope they stick.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you get the right tier for your needs.
Great multi-use marketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
How so many things are integrated under one platform - web pages, e-mail marketing, SEO/analytics, contact/lead management
What do you dislike about the product?
The SEO/web site analytics facet could offer more insights into competitor web sites
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating workflows for generating leads and handling them.
