Great software for small to medium sized businesses (B2C & B2B)

What do you like best about the product?
Centralization of data, assets & processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Piece meal pricing, tiers are broken down to accommodate for things you want and might not need. This makes strategy conversations difficult and can ultimately limit the type of service you provide based on the package tier your client chooses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation, education through content & automating manual processes to streamline efficiency

Hubspot has a deep knowledge base & community you can tap into.

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is easy to use and has tools to help you succeed. With marketing classes through HubSpot Academy, they provide not only knowledge about marketing but knowledge on how to easily navigate through their software. I have learned a lot about marketing in general, in addition to how I can best use Hubspot to market to my audience, all through the use of Hubspot Academy. I use the social media posting feature the most often, and this has been so helpful to my company. I enjoy the "post like a human" feature which enables posts to appear as if they were posted naturally, rather than as if they were posted through a software comapny.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the lengths I have to go to in order to learn how to use a new tool. I wish I could have an easy to use help guide at my fingertips. I do not enjoy the formatting or design-build of the web design portion of Hubspot either, specifically the blog posting. I have found it difficult to format blogs in the exact order or place photos in the format I would prefer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, we are solving our email marketing campaigns and how they can be better targeted. We are also able to target an audience through our social media accounts. We can easily see which accounts are performing best and how to navigate them. We have also come to realize our different buyer personas, and realize we may need to market to different users in different ways.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stay open-minded and really learn more about the benefits and if they are helpful to your company. As I step into my role fairly new to the industry, having HubSpot by my side was so helpful!

Easy, Efficient Way To Post On Social Media and Create Email Content

What do you like best about the product?
Posting to all social media in an efficient way. It keeps me from going to each social media page to publish the same content. Also, I like that I can schedule what time the posts go out. The only social media outlet that allows you to do that (from what I have noticed) is Facebook.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike the most is that I can't post a bunch of pictures for each social media site, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram where I can only post one. For all of the social media platforms, I can post multiple when I post directly on their page. I wish I could do that through Hubspot, although I am sure there is a coding reason behind that limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot has overall been a very helpful tool for me, particularly with Marketing and Social Media. It keeps me from wasting time going to different pages to re-post the same content over and over. It allows to put more time into what the content actually is, rather than stressing over publishing the content on time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a product that allows you to post to social media and send out email blasts with ease, HubSpot will work great for you. However, if you are a photo-focused marketing person, HubSpot might not be the best choice for you. Make sure to check the marketing analytics if you are a marketing person as well.

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot handles so much of the technical side of running a website. That makes it really easy to focus on the actual marketing without worrying too much that everything is set up correctly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a struggle to actually think of meaningful problems. Yes, there are small things you'd like to change but that's the same with any product

It has saved me so much time I can't even imagine how long some simple tasks would take me on another platform

Great system, as long as you plan and standardize

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot offers one integrated platform for the full customer lifecycle, with many features that work out of the box. Moving from traditional systems, this results in a quantum leap in automation of processes and driving insights from data. We use the full platform which means we have visibility of customers before they become a client, right through to the point where they ask our support team questions. Requires little expertise to make work very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The standardization of features limits flexibility to adapt the system to your requirements, you need to be ready to accept how the system works an not expect to be able to change everything. Some features are not enterprise ready, mainly items relating to the service module- such as multi language support forms and knowledge base. This means you are limited still by some quirks in the system. The platform is expensive, especially if you have larger teams and lots of contacts. You need to actively manage costs for it not to spiral out of control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had website stability issues, no central marketing platform and CRM system that was too complex to run. We managed to decrease the level of expertise needed to run our internal systems and have boosted overall productivity. On top of that we have a much better view of our customers, which helps us deliver better service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The platform is costly, but works great and requires little technical knowledge to implement. We saved on external expertise and put the money in a simple system. There are limitations to personalization of the system and some areas (Service mainly) are not fully developed yet.

A lot of good things, and just a few suggestions

What do you like best about the product?
- Hubspot Support is amazing, people are always joyful, ready to help and give great advices.
- Every tools around the blog (landing pages/medias) ... It is very easy and intuitive to publish and promote a blog.

In general, every tool there is for the marketing department is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
SALES POINT OF VIEW:
- The numerous messages in outlook saying connexion issues between Outlook and Hubspot. For the salesperson it is quite difficult to deal with these constant issues. ( I have already contacted support but there was no solving)
- Some mails are mixed up inside other contact mails. I have alrealy contacted support that brang this matter to the product team. Waiting for the final answer
- If the size of a attachment is too big, the mail will not be registered inside hubspot
- We would like an option that allows the saleperson to answer to an email (where there are many people in "copy" and that answering this email DOES NOT create all the contacts inside hubspot. It is a great waste of time to delete them afterall.
- In the mobile app, in the task view, if the name of the contact could appear it would be great.

MARKETING POINT OF VIEW:
- The lack of possibilities to create diversed report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to write, post and promote blogs, offers ....
Great amount of time is saved thanks to the easy transfer of contacts from marketing dep to sales dep
Great analysing tool even if some issues were noticed
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To trust Hubspot for Inbound Marketing. They know what they are doing and the support is of great help. Tools are easy to use.
If looking only for a CRM then maybe Husbpot is not the best tool but for an all in one Inbound Marketing solution it is great !

Sharing My Learning Experience with the Community

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about HubSpot is that they have kept their knowledge open source via their free course offerings. Next thing I like about it is that I have everything ready for me via on the Marketing hub and the analytics I am looking for is easily accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I would like to mention is that in Projects, Description allows edit but it must show the time of last change made and name of the person who does the edit. Otherwise, if someone changes the main content then we will not be able to keep track of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are doing social media management, web content management and also project coordination with our overseas team. We can easily communicate with them, however, the point mentioned in the earlier question needs to be addressed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot has received Frost & Sullivan 2019 Global Growth Excellence Leadership Award for Marketing Automation. So, you too will become future-proof by considering HubSpot and leverage this platform to stay a step ahead in your own industry.

Fantastic platform backed by great customer service

What do you like best about the product?
The complete Digital Marketing platform - allows us to manage the complete Customer Journey. Allows us to optimise Content for Inbound (Google Search) . With seamless integration in to Salesforce.com for CRM / Sales Management. From there, the platform is able to help create outbound (Email) campaigns. In addition with our Website built on Hubspot, we can easily modify, manage and develop pages (landing or otherwise) to help with streamlining the customer experience. Reporting allows us to monitor what works and what doesn't quite work and change course as and when required. All this , allows to manage things internally as opposed to relying on Digital Marketing companies out there who will never know our business as intimately as we do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little to dislike, but changes/ updates to the platform can occasionally throw us off, as features that were once present may get discontinued or will be found somewhere else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales and Marketing Alignment.

What do you like best about the product?
A complete platform with many tools needed in one location.
What do you dislike about the product?
See functionality is very weak. Website pages are not amp compliant and pages are hosted on sub domains, Plus no featured snippets for blog posts.

Keeping marketing items organized and automated.

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is a wonderful platform that provides a variety of helpful tools and integrates well with other platforms. HubSpot is not only good for those who aren't as well versed with coding or Web design, but also allows the freedom for coders to do what they want or need to do. The support is also a very nice plus because of the availability and the friendliness of all when I call in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like HubSpot changes things just to change things. This causes more confusion and more learning without a huge benefit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot solves our integration into many different platforms that we use which is a sometimes very tricky. We have also been able to bring all of our Web pages under HubSpot which gives consistency to the look and feel of the Website, which is critical
