Great Construction Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The field tools are easy to use and intuitive, the Daily Report tood can be integrated with FC Construction (a turnstile company) this allows tracking of employees onsite. The drawings and specs tools are great once uploaded and ready to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting tools are not as customizable as needed. I hoped to be able to have a customizable form to build a bid tab that can be fed from the bidding tool, but Procore is not there yet. The OCR technology needs some work for the drawings tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the issues of redundant tracking of information. We don't need to use/manually update logs if we can run reports of the items we are tracking through Procore.
Gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Abitlity to keep Plans, Notes, meeting minutes, schedules, etc. in one place that anyone involved can check on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Schedule integration hasn't worked. Multiple attempts at resolving haven't gotten anywhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving hundreds of manhours by keeping RFIs and meeting notes done on tablets and phones in the field.
Subcontractor on several projects
What do you like best about the product?
Procore organizes project documents and drawings in one central location so I know I am working off of the correct or the same drawing
What do you dislike about the product?
Working through the site is not easy. The tabs, buttons to move through are not very intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have to fill up our own drive with several sets of drawings that are hopefully marked correctly
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Your company has to be fairly large to make it cost effective
Very comprehensive yet simple
What do you like best about the product?
Definitely like the simplicity of the interface and the ability to customize to suit different project requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of. I think Procore can dedicate more on developing a Schedule interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using to track submittals and the ability to filter them in many different ways is helping me sort through them quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a fair try before considering other products. Our subs find it easy to use and this eliminates a lot of time wasted in coordinating.
Long Time Subscriber
What do you like best about the product?
Construction is an ever-changing business and I like that Procore is not afraid to release product updates regularly. I find that each update adds a level of productivity or solves a challenge for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the available data fields are not required by my company. It would be nice to pick and choose which fields you can see, which are required, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore handles all of our internal & external contract administration and procurement planning, logging, and scheduling. We have realized a better success rate on submittal completion and contract admin.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best, fastest moving software company and totally focused on the construction industry. Is completely customizable so that your company can choose to use it the ways it best suits you and your customers.
Helpful and Supportive Staff
What do you like best about the product?
The helpful support staff is always ready to assist with any issues that arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recurring issues with the connector for QuickBooks, but it’s a third party app so it isn’t really ProCore’s fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Budgeting and coding issues have been greatly improved along with increased transparency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It has it’s problems, but the team is great and constantly working to improve the service.
Procore has made our Design Build Construction Team more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
I like the workflow that can be tailored for RFI, Submittal, Change Orders etc. This simplifies the process for review and approval and reminds individuals to act on an item if too much time elapses. I also like the willingness of the Procore staff to listen to our concerns and needs and to implement change based on that input.
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore changes programming so frequently that at times it is difficult to be sure you are navigating correctly.
We were also told during our investigation of the product that is would integrate with our Sage MB 100 product. After purchasing Procore and the Sage interface we found that Procore did not interface with our Sage MB Product but another version Sage 300. So, we purchased Sage 300, for $30K, which was actually a Timberline product that did not meet our needs. So now we are out the money for Sage 300 and Procore would not reimburse us for the cost of interfacing Procore to Sage MB. Quite a bit of money and resources expended and we still don't have an interface to our accounting software which is why we bought Procore in the first place.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less drop out with processes due to the workflow. The reminders help the person with ball in court so they dont forget. Also, we are better able to manage the over/under on our budgets and have real time information at our fingertips.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure you have a person in your organization that can be the POC through implementation and training and act as your liason with procore.
North Jersey Procore Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to have my subcontractors and vendors bill directly through the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changes too often with little or no heads up. My account managers are not the best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the issue of subcontractors billings going unnoticed because now we have a tracked system through Procore that sends notifications when a change is made.
Overall Procore is a great construction software.
What do you like best about the product?
Having everything to refer back to and be able to see what is still outstanding or closed is a great help on a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Change Events - was much happier doing the old way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is in one place, except our accounting (check cutting).
Owner in First Year of Procore Trial
What do you like best about the product?
Tools for drawings and specifications. Uploading is very easy, as is updating if plans/specs are revised for any reason. Markup functions and ability to link drawings/specs to RFIs are also very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Submittals and Contract Tools are not set up for Owners, meaning that we are constantly looking for work-arounds and spending more of our own time trying to get these tools working for our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be honest, I do not know that we have solved any business problems with Procore at this point. It has been beneficial to have updated specs/
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Seems very useful for a Contractor, but as an Owner, make sure you are have someone dedicated to working closely with Procore during implementation.
