Fantastic Construction Software
What do you like best about the product?
Drawings module - everyone on the project can always work off of the current drawings and linked RFIs. The ease of communication is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the columns on various modules were all configurable and that the reporting tools were more robust. I usually run into roadblocks with the way I want to report the info in procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective communication platform spanning office & field, local, out of state, and out of country. Ease to track down all the required project information. With the iPad, you can easily get everything at your finger tips. Being able to interact with the software while you're standing in the field on the project construction site is invaluable. Before, we would have to take notes and pictures and go back to our computers to upload and generate all the data and distribute from there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Expensive, but worth the premium in the end.
PROCORE revolutionized our Project Management Level financial management.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive graphic user interface that smartly consolidates 100% of the Project Level documentation management including all project financial needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
We still find areas where PROCORE, in an attempt to do everything for everybody, makes compromises on either industry best practice or construction management techniques.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We shifted our project level financial management and reporting into PROCORE with the SAGE interface. This has provided a new level of fidelity that our company and clients have enjoyed. Additionally, we replaced a 15 year old spreadsheet system and were able to avoid hiring a new accounting clerk due to efficiency gained.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Of all of the construction management software I have touched, this is the best consolidated, construction management focused platform that provides a readily acceptable performance from the subcontractor labor foreman all the way to the Owner/Developer. It gets high marks from everybody and has specified interface between PM level computer use versus field users using iPads or iPhones or other smart devices.

Meeting Minutes are not intuitive and sometimes hard to keep organized

Central location for all our project info. Unlimited storage for photos and drawings.

The mobile app uses a ton of space on the device it is installed on.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps to be able to easily track all submittals between vendors and clients. Additionally, the RFIs ability for multiple people to add input, epeciallythe ball in court feature and reminder emails help make my job easier. As-builts is super easy now that I can pin RFIs to the drawings too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the RFIs seem to be so static, there you are not able to delete an RFI and/or edit responses once issued. The bidding modules could be a bit easier, linking the vendors within the project. There seems to be specific links to follow in order to get to the information wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit I've seen is the ball in court feature and tracking dates as much time is spent emailing vendors and clients just to follow up.

We now have one central location for storing and recording all project documents

Toggling between projects can and partner companies can be cumbersome.

Unified and consolidated record storage. Multiple users with same access to data

Time & cost saving
What do you like best about the product?
The time that is saved by the organization provided by Procore is amazing. This directly saves the company money. Everything is at your fingertips on mobile as well. Referencing the drawings while on-site is fantastic. Submittal & change order tracking is also done very well and provides reminders to the affected people. Procore is highly recommended for anyone looking to streamline their systems and procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently we are not able to integrate our financials, which is frustrating, as that is a big part of the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly tracking and reporting of RFI's, submittals, & change orders. These tools are well laid out and clear to see what is still outstanding and what is closed.

Great Application for Document Control
What do you like best about the product?
Access to every document for the project in one easy place, Switching between jobs and con

The new features are more difficult to navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RFIs are now done in the field and we can attached drawings and pictures to them, Submittals are easily uploaded and no more waiting on bulletins to get sent out.

Its a great product that every GC is moving towards..

What do you like best about the product?
Everything I need is available on my phone anywhere on the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
ProCore can be slow to load and can crash occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can look back on a day to see how many personnel a subcontractor claimed to have. I can look up any drawing to answer questions.
Convenient, Effective, Collaborative Project Management software
What do you like best about the product?
The functionality of Procore is amazing to expedite the review and clarification process on submittals and RFI's. It keeps current documents literally at your fingertips and the Apps functionality for use in the field is stellar. Syncing for contracts and accounting is a nice bonus other software doesn't provide.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't do it all, but it is close. Estimating tools are clunky and cumbersome. Accounting is still via another software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
wee are saving a lot of time by being more efficient with contrasts, change orders, document management and submittals. Real time commitments and costs are available for instant forecasting.

Highly recommend this product to increase productivity and get on board with an innovative company that is seeking to become the go to, complete package for construction project management.
