What do you like best about the product?
Ability to customize the software to match our company's processes & procedures

Items requested sometimes take a long time to be implemented so work arounds are needed in the interim

communication among the contractors, design team, & owner is easy. Helps members of all 3 groups stay up to date on all project related information

Procore, hand downs, has improved our performance and our company in whole.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to not only better manage our projects from start to finish, but to also collect data that can be extrapolated to give us a self-check on our own company's performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is getting the "old-guard" and certain third-parties to buy-in. The quality of the data is only as good as those inputting it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to be more transparent with clients, better organized internally, and maximize our profit margins through finding efficiencies in the process that governs our construction projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it implanted early. Playing catch up after the fact is difficult, but using Procore is worth it on all of your projects in active construction.

What do you like best about the product?
All information for a project is in one place and accessible by all parties.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is designed for the GC model. I'm currently working in the CM world so we have to do a lot of "work arounds."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed, accuracy and efficiency in moving docs, accessing project information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It takes some getting used to, but the biggest hurdle is getting employees who have "always done it this way" to buy in.

Organization/consolidation of info, notifications/reminders

does not handle email well, inputting new people is very tedious
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Submittal review and tracking is the most powerful ability that we utilize. Having them in one place, you can see who is responsible, and when things are late... very good.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As mentioned previously, email management is the key feature I think this program is missing. Also, while it's so nice to have as a web application, I do want a desktop application. Procore Drive is handy for uploading documents and photos, but why can't I import a revit file or CAD file and extract sheets automatically?
Construction Coordination
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Procore has all of the basic functions needed to efficiently communicate between Ownership, GC, and Subcontractors (meetings, RFIs, submittals, photos, etc.). The integration between new and popular technology is growing, streamlining the general contractor's role across several platforms (e.g. Timberline/Sage, Earthcam, Building Connected). It shows Procore is listening to its users and constantly improving to because one of the most used and most beneficial resources to stay organized on the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions need to be better streamlined - subs still don't like bidding on Procore, training videos need to improve to show the Owner's role vs. the GC's role vs. the Subcontractor's role.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is in one place; no need to search.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You won't find a tool better than Procore.

Procore is easy to use in the field. I can access project information anywhere which facilitates use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s still new in development so they are implementing new features as they are created.

Accessible anywhere makes communication with the office and the field easy.

Great for document management and easy to edit.

Not easy to manage contingency logs and change order logs. Customers sometime complain that they get too many emails from Procore.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can keep all my project documents in one place, in the same format, and that they are able to communicate and be updated together.
I like being able to distribute to my team members form this platform and for them to be able to view the materials in this platform. It saves them time in finding what they need and saves me time by not having to go back and resend or track things down for them.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not a huge complaint, but there are several aspects or services that either don't apply to what I'm doing or I have decided not to use, so with each project I customize to only see or have available what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore address the problem of tracking the various components in my projects by keeping them on the same platform and in the same or compatible formats.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Procore's support team is excellent. I always receive fast responses to problems, even if just to acknowledge they've received my question. They have quick follow-up and are always very pleasant to deal with.
Easy to learn and use
What do you like best about the product?
Navigation is simple and consistent, great tool for the supervisors on the job site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricey for small contractors, even more so to integrate with the financial software, lots of duplicated data entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better communication between the field and the home office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Number of people in the field, willingness to use videos as training tools. There are a lot of nice features, but they are only as good as the people willing to use them.
