Central Hub for all of your Project Management needs

What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative power of Procore is extremely powerful. We use Procore as the central repository for all of our project plans, documents, and communications. It is the source program for generating all RFIs, Commmittments, Change Orders, and Requests for funding - both from the Subcontractors, and to the Owners of the Projects. The workflows are logical and smooth, and the support from the Procore technicians is far beyond anything I have ever experienced with other software. It is equally effective in the office on a computer, or in the field on an iPad or iPhone.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not yet been able to connect Procore to our Accounting software, Sage 100. The duplication of entries is very time consuming, although it is very easy for Accounting to access the information in a single place in Procore. I know that Procore does connect with many accounting programs, and we are currently considering changing our Accounting software to automate and facilitate the flow of information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1.Having all documents related to the project in a single place, accessible through the internet by anyone with the permissions to see it is a massive advantage.
2. Workflows automate the stream of information and keep it instantly visible to all players. This was previously handled through e-mail which sometimes resulted in lost information, or critical info that was not communicated to the team in a timely manner.
3. Subcontractor submission of Draws through Procore is fast, accurate, and organized. It require them to bill according to the approved contracted Schedule of Values, and will not allow them to bill Change Orders until they are approved. It also sets up a workflow of internal approvals that ensure that the billing is correct and only goes to accounting when the PM has reviewed it. Procore is in the process of setting up the ability to require the subs to include other monthly documentation needed by the banks such as lien releases or updated insurance certs.

We have saved a great deal of time and energy by having all documents available online, and workflows that keep the information moving. When we get an accounting program that can link with this as well, we will save a tremendous amount of time spent in data entry.

Dishonest, negative and hostile work environment

Budgeting. Procore is the best Construction Management software I've used to date.

RFIs not business days, drawings markups cannot be published all at once.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to manage the many aspects of our projects using one simple tool with an incredible support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that some of the tools like the observation tool could be a bit more streamlined.

What do you like best about the product?
Love that we have been able to custimiz and work with modules to work for us as we are a mfg company not in Construction.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few areas that we have not been able to work arround - wish that we could link to Oracle so that we don't have double entries

A complete user friendly system for the Construction Industry

What do you like best about the product?
As the implementer for the software it was very important to have a user friendly interface that is easy to learn. Procore's organization along with the training videos made it very easy to get users excited to use and trained on the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process was too rushed there are several features that we have still not used and struggled with setting up after the process was completed. There needs to be a separate training on the ERP connection as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The seamless quick transition for information from the office to the field. It has provided a strong integration to allow paperwork to flow seamlessly once a project is set up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your diligence looking at other software however do not let the price scare you away.

Great tool for Construction Management

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy Procore's ability to allow the Project Managers to be more hands on with his/her projects. It has all the components from scheduling to submittals to change orders to forecasting right at his/her disposal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I look forward to Procore being able to fully communicate Prime Contract Change Orders to Sage and eliminating that step. I also would like a Field Directory and an Office Directory; this would really help our field superintendents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to establish an accurate snapshot of the project and what milestones have been achieved. This eliminates unnecessary meetings when the information is accessible. The BEST benefit is the synchronization with DocuSign. It has made turn around of documents a lot faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Procore is on top of the needs of construction companies and allowing them to function at their highest potential while keeping all aspects corporations involved. Marketing, Business Development, Accounting, Project Management, Owners, and Vendors all have pivotal roles in reviewing and providing further information.
