Procore Review
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to get my field team the most current drawings or information in real time, and vice versa, has been a game changer! We are able to do this with our General Contractors as well, and this has been a huge improvement over the paper version way of 5+ years ago!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that my Procore could communicate with the GC's Procore. It's called Procore to Procore, and we are working on it in beta testing, so hopefully soon we will be able to do this! It would be a huge improvement to our efficiency and success, and we are always looking for ways to improve in those areas!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have our field guys working off a hard set of plans, and when the plans changed, which they do frequently, they never seemed to have the most up to date set. This has helped to minimize that problem. This saves us time and money!
Making a Difference with Data
What do you like best about the product?
Having a central repository for documents, drawings, models etc... makes the most efficient use of our time. Accessing on PC, Mac, and all mobile devices keeps the data that we need near at all times. Gone are the days of dropped VPN connections
What do you dislike about the product?
The chief issue that I have is that the BIM models are not viewable on Android devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting up to the minute changes and details into the hands of the field teams

We would not want to be without Procore. That's the best recommendation that I can make.

Its Ease of access, accuracy and customization features to fit our business needs

After adding a few customization features it removes so of the available tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every single projects starts and ends within Procore, from an administration/financial point of view.
We have provided our entire project team with a single platform to operate from.
We have benefited in many ways but most specifically reducing wait times for approval and by providing a clear dashboard to our project team and overall managed to lower our overhead

Make Your Project Management Easier
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is like a virtual filing cabinet, print table, secretary, library shelf, connection tool all rolled into one.
I have been working with this platform for over 6 years now and with each passing year, the tools and capabilities increase to meet the demands of the industry. The year 2020 challenged the entire construction field. Procore made it possible for us not to miss a beat while we were all scattered.

What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the General Contractor's and the Subcontractor's accounts "talked" to each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management is the way to lump everything Procore does for us into a single phrase.
No longer do people have to rummage through papers or prints, hoping to get the right one from the sea of paper.
The latest releases of everything are right at your fingertips.
Having everyone from the Foremen in the field to the PM's in the office to the folks in accounting all working on the same thing makes for a load off of everyone's shoulders.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
On first glance, it may look intimidating to the non-tech people out there.
This platform is so simple to learn, provides amazing support for both the highly technical questions to the simplest of issues.
I have never waited more than 24 hours for a response back and normally it's within an hour of reaching out.
The sales folks are NOT high pressure and do not oversell you on services you may not need.

Pricey but Worth It!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that ProCore is constantly improving and actively listens to their end users for improvements and what they would like to see next. I love their support chat feature - it makes it so easy to get a question answered quickly!
What do you dislike about the product?
The contract is always sticker-shock. While I believe it is worth it and no one can really compete with ProCore, I always have a tough time showing value to management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The big problem we had was Project Managers not having enough accountability and clarity on their jobs from a cost perspective. Having ProCore eliminates this and puts all the tools a PM will ever need right in the palm of their hands. A huge benefit is connecting with subs, suppliers and GCs through the program.
Organized, Time Saving Tool
What do you like best about the product?
How organized it will make everything document wise in construction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations of some tools like Drawing overlay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Observations turning into a Change Order or RFI. Tracking the flow of work from initial observation to T&M or Change Order work.
Streamline Document Control
What do you like best about the product?
ProCore's ability to store and process documents has made document control a breeze. Our capacity to enter and store everything in one place, consistently across projects, is of great benefit. The capacity to allow team members and subcontractors actively participate and perform in document control is great. As a project administrator the integration with DocuSign has streamlined our contracting and change order practices exponentially.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed in which updates and new releases are issued is difficult to keep up with. ProCore constantly changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reminders (dunning messages) are automatically sent via ProCore. Follow-up used to take a substantial amount of time and effort now takes a quick check of status.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely take advantage of additional support hours. Also, assign a team member to champion ProCore updates to share with the rest of team updates that will benefit their role. Make sure all team members complete ProCore certification and understand how to use the question and training tools. Make ProCore certification and training a part of your onboarding practices for new employees.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore keeps our communications and paperwork running smooth throughout the project! Submittals, RFI's and document control is great! I also like the integrations with schedules and Outlook for emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that I don't like about Procore. I have had one or two people struggle with some of the functions and subcontractors that already have accounts not be able to see our projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our document control problem and record keeping. We are saving time on submittals and have better control with them. RFI's are recorded and the Ball in Court keeps everyone on their toes.
Amazing Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to keep all team members of the project, from owners to GC to Subs informed of what is going on with the job at all times.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the reporting features would allow you to use all available fields within any report but other than that I can not say i really dislike anything about Procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What problems are we not solving with Procore is the easier question. We solve everything from delays with submittals to subcontracts having the wrong drawings to project managers not creating CO's.

Everything is in one place. All RFIs, change orders, commitments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage integration can be cumbersome with budgets etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superintendents have access to all documents that Project managers have. Photos and locations are a huge plus.
