NinjaOne Streamlines Device Management with Seamless Patching, SSO, and Top-Notch Support
What do you like best about the product?
I love that NinjaOne can be utilized in so many different ways. The home page is great for a quick overview of what's going on with our devices company wide. Logging in with SSO, and being able to receive webhook notifications through Microsoft Teams for ticketing makes productivity a lot easier as I can still be tuned in while away from Ninja. Being able to rely on NinjaOne to handle endpoint patching without human intervention allows our team to dedicate that time to other projects and tasks for our company, and for our end users. I personally have never experienced any issues with NinjaOne not working properly, as updates and bug fixes seem to be a priority to them. It's nice feeling secure in the sense that I'll always be able to support and manage our devices no matter what. In the case I do experience an issue where I need assistance, their support team is always on top of it and works with us to the very end to make sure we achieved a solution. Having a wonderful and competent team to rely on and a system that works seamlessly and is constantly improving in many different use cases makes any money spent feel like an investment in which the return is exponential. We love NinjaOne!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that NinjaOne was more customizable in the sense of how we can utilize it. Custom forms for end users via systray icon, and ability to customize webhook notifications to show relevant information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to monitor patches and have Ninja handle them and withhold potentially harmful patches is extremely beneficial! Being able to utilize automations for things like device cleanup when the disk is getting full, or a scheduled Onboarding task that installs necessary apps and software for newly joined devices.

Speed, Reliability, and Precision: Why NinjaOne is My Go-To RMM
What do you like best about the product?
The Transition: From Skeptic to Believer
We migrated to NinjaOne about a year ago, and I’ll admit I was initially skeptical of its capabilities. However, they have undeniably transformed the platform into a powerhouse. It now functions like a finely crafted machine—as reliable and satisfying as your favorite weekly pizza order. Impressively, they have incorporated nearly every essential feature I relied on in Kaseya 9.5, and in many ways, it has already surpassed what Kaseya offered.
UI and Performance
The navigation is intuitive, and the UI has improved significantly over time, making it easy to find exactly what you need. One of the most useful functions is the ability to organize columns to your specific liking, allowing you to deliver accurate information to your team quickly. From a performance standpoint, NinjaOne is outstanding. I can trigger scripts across 185 terminals or workstations and see results within a couple of minutes; usually, the only bottleneck is local bandwidth, not the platform itself.
Scripting and Automation Power
The dynamic scripting engine is nothing short of exceptional. Whether you need to string together seven different scripts or trigger an automation based on complex conditions, NinjaOne handles it effortlessly. I’ve fully integrated these capabilities into our business workflow, particularly for data mining; we can grab data directly from logs and generate clean, professional HTML reports. Whether you need to list every program on a machine or build custom report columns, the flexibility is there.
Patching and AI Implementation
Both OS and software patching are top-notch and have proven to be highly reliable. NinjaOne has also begun integrating AI features. As an RMM Lead, I appreciate the assistance AI can provide, though I remain cautious. At this stage of AI’s evolution, it isn't yet fully "set and forget," and I appreciate that the platform still allows for the human oversight that is necessary for true reliability.
Support and Value
Throughout our transition from Kaseya, we’ve contacted support multiple times and received exceptional service. The staff is knowledgeable and quick to act; if a Tier 1 tech doesn't have the answer, they seamlessly escalate to someone who does. Combined with a very competitive pricing structure, we are extremely happy with the value we’re getting. I would highly recommend NinjaOne to anyone looking for a robust, high-performance RMM solution.

UI and Functionality Improvements
Interface and Data Customization
While the platform is strong, there are a few UI frustrations that could be resolved with better customization options. Specifically, I would like to see more robust sorting capabilities—giving users the choice to sort columns either alphabetically or numerically. Additionally, the ability to add more columns and manually adjust column widths would greatly improve how we view and manage data within the interface.
Scripting and File Integration
From a functional standpoint, the current inability to easily integrate files directly into scripts feels like a lost opportunity. Streamlining this process would make deployments much more efficient.
Logic and Programming Shortcuts
Finally, I believe NinjaOne would benefit from incorporating some "low-code" programming blocks similar to what Kaseya offered. Having some minor, built-in programming logic would be highly beneficial; it would save time and reduce the need to manually code every single minor task from scratch.

The Core Value of NinjaOne
Speed, Reliability, and Enhanced Functionality
The most significant problem NinjaOne solves for us is the massive leap in speed and reliability compared to our previous experience with Kaseya 9.5. The platform’s increased functionality has completely transformed our workflow. Specifically, the dynamic scripting engine—which supports multiple, complex conditions—allows me to target scripts with surgical precision. This ensures tasks run exactly when needed while effectively "weeding out" workstations that don't require attention, saving us both time and computing resources.
Advanced Inventory and API Integration
NinjaOne has become an indispensable tool for our inventory management. By leveraging the API to push and pull data from specific workstations, we can maintain a highly organized and accurate inventory database. This level of connectivity ensures that our records are always up to date and categorized correctly within our system.
Data Mining and Professional Reporting
One of the most impactful improvements has been the ability to data-mine logs and transform that information into polished, "WYSIWYG" HTML reports. This efficiency has dramatically improved how we deliver critical data to both our field technicians and our customers. Being able to present complex log data in a clean, professional, and easy-to-read format ensures that our team stays informed and our clients see the full value of our services.
