Easy Device Monitoring with Convenient One-Click Remote Access

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about NinjaOne is that we can easily monitor our devices and take action when something is wrong. I also find the built‑in Remote tool extremely convenient, with just one click, a session request is sent to the laptop and we can immediately take a look remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about NinjaOne is that when a new Microsoft security update is released and pushed through NinjaOne, the update often fails to install on the devices. As a result, the device health summary shows many devices as unhealthy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When something unexpected happens on a device, I can easily review the activity logs to see exactly what occurred.

Well-Organized and Easy to Use, with Clear Tracking and Records

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about NinjaOne is that the application is well organized and easy to use. It provides a clear overview, which makes it simple to navigate and manage tasks. I also find it very useful that everything is properly tracked and recorded in the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
one think i dislike about NinjaOne is that connecting to a Mac device can be less easy. Users often have to manually enable multiple permissions one by one, instead of simply accepting all access at once. This can be confusing for less experienced Mac users and makes it take longer to establish a remote session with the right permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne solves the problem of tracking and monitoring IT activities by providing clear and detailed logs. This benefits me because I can easily look back at what has happened on a device, which helps me identify issues faster and even prevent problems before they get worse. Because everything is well recorded, it makes troubleshooting much easier and more efficient

Versatile Asset Management with Excellent Remote Access and Flexible Automation

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne has become central to how we monitor and work with assets across the organisation, and its versatility is what stands out most. The ability to filter assets based on multiple criteria, save the result as a dynamic group, and then assign a task to that group is a real time-saver — what used to be a fiddly manual process is now something I can set up in a couple of minutes and leave running.

The remote access tooling is another standout. Being able to connect to assets across the organisation in several different ways — remote desktop, remote command prompt and PowerShell, remote file browser, remote task manager, and more — all from within the same platform makes day-to-day work genuinely convenient. For a lot of issues I can diagnose and resolve things in the background without ever interrupting the end user, and when a full remote session is needed it's just a click away.

The solution is also highly customisable. Being able to configure custom thresholds for notifications across servers, workstations, and laptops makes daily maintenance considerably easier. Instead of drowning in noise, I get alerted on the things that actually matter for each class of device, and I can tune those thresholds as our environment changes.

The UI is clean and logically laid out, so finding the device, policy, or script you need doesn't take much hunting. Policies inherit sensibly, which keeps the admin overhead low even as the estate grows.

Overall, NinjaOne has struck a good balance between being powerful enough for complex estate management and approachable enough that you're not constantly fighting the tool. The dynamic grouping, threshold customisation, and integrated remote access have paid back the time invested in setting it up many times over.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the NinjaOne mobile app works great and has helped in some tricky situations when being away from my laptop, it would be nice to see more of the features included in the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynamic groups are a real time saver when running tasks across a filtered list of machines, and being able to open a remote command prompt or PowerShell session without interrupting the end user is a huge win for day-to-day support.
