What do you like best about the product?
One of Grammarly’s standout features is its ability to refine writing style beyond just grammar and spelling. Its suggestions for clarity and tone make a huge difference, especially when crafting professional emails or creative writing. I also appreciate its ability to provide explanations for corrections—it’s a great way to learn and improve rather than just blindly accepting changes. Plus, the convenience of its multi-platform support makes it easy to use across different devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Grammarly is beneficial, it does have a few downsides. Sometimes, its corrections can feel overly rigid, especially when dealing with more creative or informal writing. It occasionally suggests changes that alter the intended meaning, which requires careful review before accepting recommendations. Additionally, the more advanced features—like tone adjustments and plagiarism detection—are locked behind the premium version, which might not be ideal for everyone. And while it’s an excellent tool for improving writing, it’s not a replacement for human intuition and deep editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly tackles several common writing challenges, making communication clearer and more polished. It helps catch grammar and spelling mistakes that might slip through, ensuring professionalism in emails, essays, and reports. Another major benefit is its ability to refine sentence structure and clarity—this is particularly useful when trying to make writing more concise and engaging. For those working on formal documents, Grammarly’s tone detection helps adjust wording to better fit the intended audience.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ideas it presents as I am writing. It is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that it lags at times. It stumbles and leaves a suggestion mark, but doesn't offer a suggestion. The page often needs to be refreshed; sometimes the suggestion returns, and sometimes it doesn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The proofreading edits and suggestions are beneficial. I have the tendency of writing in passive voice and this helps me shift so the text is more engaging.

What do you like best about the product?
"I love using Grammarly—no need to stress about grammar or being precise. It lets me focus on what I actually want to say.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly is super helpful for catching mistakes and improving clarity, but sometimes it gives too many suggestions—it can feel overwhelming or nitpicky, especially when you just want to write naturally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with grammar

Good Grammar is Essential for Good Writing

What do you like best about the product?
It's to have a reminder pop up to watch your commas and writing in the past tense. It is very easy to use and I appreciate how it helps across many platforms--writing in Word, on social media and emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
In journalistic writing, the word "that" is often unnecessary. Grammarly continues to have it pop up. Also, it would be nice to be able to set it to Canadian spelling (I'm sure you can but I haven't been able to find it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a writer and editor for a community newspaper. It is difficult to edit your own work, so having Grammarly available helps me check my own articles, as I edit everyone else's.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to move the little button that toggles around with you because sometimes it gets in my way when I'm in a small window.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need something that doesn't just spell check can correct grammatical issues and make suggestions. It saves me a lot of time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like not having to worry too much about what I am writing, and the grammar in my writing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there are no folders for my work. I want there to be folders for all the files so I can organize them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is great for plagiarism checking. I love that it gives me the option to change grammar and/or reword to make things clearer.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't remember when I dismiss a suggestion. The next run through gives me the same tips. Sometimes I want to use poor grammar intentionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I read so much and have worked as a copywriter for years, so sometimes I don't remember if wording is something I made up or have read before.
