What do you like best about the product?
I find Grammarly to be a very useful app that improves my writing by checking grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure in real time. It not only corrects mistakes but also explains why changes are needed, which is super helpful for learning to improve over time. The real-time suggestions for grammar, clarity, and tone are very useful, especially when writing emails, assignments, or professional content. Its tone detection ensures that my message sounds polite, confident, or professional, which is really valuable for formal communications. I love how it works smoothly across different platforms like mobile, desktop, and browsers, so I get support wherever I write.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the most helpful suggestions, like advanced style improvements, tone suggestions in deeper detail, and plagiarism checks, are only available in the paid version. For casual users or students, the cost might feel high. Sometimes Grammarly suggests changes that are too formal or unnecessary, especially in creative or expressive writing, making the text sound less natural. Even though the tone detector is useful, it doesn’t always understand deep context—like sarcasm, regional language style, or niche jargon—so some suggestions can feel off. On phones or tablets, the keyboard extension can sometimes slow typing or lag, especially in apps that already have predictive text, which can disrupt the flow. Grammarly sometimes marks perfectly valid text as an error because it’s strict about English standards, which can frustrate advanced writers.

What do you like best about the product?
Not as great as it was. No improvements since I started using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive yearly cost which isn't that affordable to maintain. Therefore I will not be willing to resubscribe to it unfortunately. Anyway it was a great experience of using it for the last 4 years.

Grammarly has been an excellent tool and a true master of language, assisting me and millions of others in writing and paraphrasing grammatically correct sentences. It played a significant role in improving professional communication, especially before the rise of AI. I find it extremely useful for refining sentences, checking spelling, and making use of its extension, which is particularly helpful when composing emails or working within Google Docs. It has truly been a great help.
What do you dislike about the product?
As times change, the need for a dedicated grammar checking tool has diminished, since new AI apps are constantly emerging that handle these tasks with ease. Although I don't have any particular dislikes, I think it would be valuable if the tool explained why a sentence is incorrect and helped users learn proper English or the correct way to write. While most people are now relying on AI for simplicity, this tool could have truly assisted users in improving their writing skills.

I think it is really efficient to use it as a browser extension, and it can help me in every document I am editing. I like that I can always see suggestions based on the tone of my writing. I use it for my schoolwork mostly, and I go through every suggestion Grammarly gives me. They are very detailed and help me realize and actually learn what could be a better preposition, punctuation, word, or verb for me to use. The initial setup of Grammarly was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the interface now. I think it looks very cold and distant. The homepage is very clean and structured but it looks plain and tasteless. I think it could be better to see a more warm/welcoming scene.

I find it incredibly quick, as it only takes a few seconds to assist with my writing compared to figuring out writing styles on my own. I really like that I have the option to keep what I wrote if I do not like the suggested edits. The initial setup was very easy, and I could seamlessly share it across all my devices, both cellphone and computer.

I hate writing with constraints, like using contractions such as I'd, I'll, she'll, haven't, etc. I wish I could turn this 'off' or have a 'rule' option.

The browser extension slows down my Chrome browser. So I have to switch in between browsers some times.

I write content for the US audience. As I am not familiar with the wording and phrases there, it was difficult for me to create targeted content. Grammarly adjusts my spelling, phrases, and writing tone as I write. It also rewrites my texts whenever needed to manage tones. AI detector is another advantage, so I can easily locate plagiarised or AI content in guest post submissions.

I’ve been using Grammarly for a while now, and honestly, it’s become one of those tools I can’t imagine working without. Whether I’m writing emails, reports, or even casual posts, it catches things I’d easily overlook, typos, grammar slips, and even tone issues.

I use Grammarly for everything when it comes to typing. I really like how it helps with word selection and crafting correct sentences. The best thing about Grammarly is its ability to suggest smart corrections, replacing sentences with better suggestions, which helps me learn new words. I find it very easy to use with various tools like Gmail, Outlook, and LinkedIn. The initial setup was very simple and smooth. I would definitely recommend Grammarly with a 10 out of 10 rating.
