JumpCloud is the MDM G.O.A.T.

  • May 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
After using several MDM, I must say that JumpCloud has been truly a godsend. The updates have also been helpful for myself and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't llike that Macs and Windows devices are integrated differently in JumpCloud. Being a Mac user there are certain things that can be annoying like password changes for Macs versus Window devices, which are more simplified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single Sign-0n. I enjoy that we can log into JumpCloud user accounts and the apps are there that we use everyday. Also, the process of explaining JC to newhires on how to login or set up two factor authentication is great. JumpCloud admin space helps me find devices or users really quickly too.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love about JumpCloud is how easily it fits in with different operating systems and apps. Managing identities is a breeze thanks to its simple interface, which is a huge win! On top of that, the strong security features give businesses peace of mind when it comes to keeping their data safe. Overall, JumpCloud really stands out with its versatility, ease of use, and impressive security!
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing to note about JumpCloud is that its pricing can be a bit difficult for smaller organizations or startups on a tight budget. Plus, while it offers a ton of customization options, getting those complex user access policies set up can take some time and know-how. Just something to keep in mind if you’re thinking about JumpCloud for your identity management needs!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud simplifies user identity management across platforms and applications, aids in onboarding with Mobile Device Management (MDM), and strengthens security with integrated password management and policy enforcement. Furthermore, it offers Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Directory Services, and remote support, providing a comprehensive solution for IT needs.

Nearly perfect replacement for Active Directory

  • May 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We needed to find a cloud-based replacement for our onprem Active Directory environment. We evaluated several platforms and ended up with Jumpcloud. What you're getting is not just a centralized cloud-based user management portal, but a complete platform that integrates a lot of things we actively use. Noteably, MDM, 2-factor authenitcation, device management, and RADIUS. Our old MS Active Directory did not have these features, or at least it wouldn't have been easy to integrate this without significant 3rd party costs. Jumpcloud includes all of this in a single platform, which we needed to implement for security and compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few times that I needed technical support, and they can be a little slow to respond at times. I found one or two bugs in the platform. However when I did get the support, their level of technical exptertise is exceptional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide Identity management for all our users that integrates with enterprise features, such as SSO, VPN, and MFA.
