Efficient and user-friendly platform for managing devices and users remotely
What do you like best about the product?
it offers seamless integration for managing users authentication, devices, policies and security compliance from one dashboard. THE ui is intuitive, and the documentation is very well structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's great over all. Although the agent can sometimes take a while to sync updates or commands, especially when devices are offline. A more granular scheduling controls for commands would be a useful addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us manage user identities, enforce password and security policies, and maintain device compliance across our distributed workforce, all from a centralized cloud platform. It eliminates the need for on-prem directory services, streamlines onboarding and offboarding processes, and strengthens access control through SSO and MFA enforcement. This has significantly improved our operational efficiency, security posture, and remote IT management capabilities.
Trusted IAM Solution with Strong Security Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is clean, Like the SSO & MFA support and their customer support team is very responsive to any suggestions. Totally satisfied
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our admins want more granular logs and easier export capabilities for compliance audits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is helping us centralize IAM across a fully remote workforce. It eliminates the need for traditional on-prem Active Directory by providing a cloud-native directory platform that integrates user provisioning, device management, SSO, and MFA—all in one place.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing large type of devices with different OS.
A game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud has been a total game-changer for out team. Managing users, devices and access from a single cloud platform has helped us so much. The site is intuitive and saves us from spending so much time navigating. Having everything be centralized is so helpful and allows us to enhance our security. It's user friendly so it makes it easy for our end users to upload their keys if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have only been using Jumpcloud for less than a year, so far so good. Nothing I dislike sticks out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a centralized platform helps us seamlessly integrate user identity access and device management.
User friendly, great implementation
What do you like best about the product?
This product is straightforward to use, and adding integrations is simple. There are also a variety of features available.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still a few features related to commands and policies that are missing, but I have learned that some of these options are currently being developed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The proper use of company resources and the ease of managing those resources stand out.
Great platform, excellent features.
What do you like best about the product?
From my perspective as an admin, the cross-platform device management is a standout feature. It's a huge time-saver to be able to enforce security policies, deploy software, and manage local accounts across our macOS, Windows, and Linux devices all from one place. On the security side, features like MFA, conditional access policies, and SSH key management give us enterprise-grade control without adding a lot of complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the advanced MDM controls for macOS are limited. For our Mac environments, some capabilities—especially those related to bootstrap tokens, kernel extension approvals, and declarative device management—are more limited compared to what you'd get from solutions integrated with Apple Business Manager.
I also have issues with reporting and logging. While basic logging is available, I wish the detailed audit trails and event reporting (like real-time login events, policy enforcement logs, or failed access attempts) were more granular and customizable without me having to rely on API workarounds.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a single, powerful platform that I can manage all of my various endpoints, regardless of OS, is a game changer. To be able to manage everything in the life cycle of my endpoints, users, etc., in one pane of glass makes my life much easier.

Love jump cloud
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about JumpCloud is that it's truly an all-in-one solution. From identity and access management to MDM, it brings everything under one roof, making IT operations seamless. The interface is beautifully designed—both intuitive and modern—and the management portal makes daily administration efficient and even enjoyable.
Another huge upside is how easy it is to set up and manage devices, users, and policies. JumpCloud Go and Device Trust Authentication simplify secure access in a way that’s incredibly user-friendly. Onboarding and offboarding processes are smooth, which is crucial for IT teams. Their support is outstanding—responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in helping customers succeed.

What do you dislike about the product?
While JumpCloud excels in many areas, there are a few growing pains. The software management and RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools aren’t quite as mature or consistent as those found in dedicated RMM solutions. They do work well when you're using packages from the JumpCloud-hosted repositories, but there's still room for improvement in flexibility and reliability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Google Workspace organization that does not use Microsoft Active Directory, JumpCloud has been a game-changer for us. It solves the critical challenge of managing a diverse device environment—including Windows, macOS, and Linux—by providing a unified MDM platform that works seamlessly across all operating systems.
It also simplifies identity and access management by serving as our centralized IdP. While Google Workspace works well for email and collaboration, it falls short as a true identity provider. JumpCloud fills that gap by offering streamlined SSO, user lifecycle management, and policy enforcement—all from a single platform.
By consolidating what would otherwise require multiple tools—such as Okta for identity, NinjaOne or another RMM, and separate MDMs for Windows and Apple—JumpCloud offers everything in one place. This has significantly reduced our IT overhead, improved security, and made our operations as simple and efficient as possible.

Great product at great price
What do you like best about the product?
Coming from an enterprise background, JumpCloud solves for several challanges being the CISO at an SME. Multiple platforms to manage is a challenge (windows, mac, linux). JC eases that drastically by leveraging UEM to consistently enforce policies. The sales and support processes have been excellent also. The sales cycle was long on our part but our JC rep kept in touch and when it came time to negotiate, JC came through to meet our budget requirements. It's been fairly smooth to begin implementing and rolling out to our users. Having them onboard their devices themselves has been a tremendous relief on a team that's strained already. Integrating with our various toolsets with out of the box integration connections has also been a relief compared to other solutions that required custom API calls and other complexities that are unnecessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge is with exporting logging data to our SIEM. There isn't a native integration for this, and while it can be done via API call, it presents challenges for someone who isn't a programmer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A challenge has been timely onboarding/offboarding of users, as well as consistent provisioning of resources. Now through SCIM connections and role standardization, we're able to ease these pains and streamline our processes drastically. Also having a mix of O365 and Google Workspace users, JC allows us to have a single source of truth with IAM across the platforms. Unified endpoint management (UEM) has been a tremendous help. It has made compliance and overall security management of our attack surface much easier than it was prior to implementation.
