  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Supports a wide range of platforms so it is suitable for managing all of our computer equipment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have had an isolated case where the user was unable to get their previously working authentication details synchronised across machines. This was resolved after the user regenerated their keys.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple computer systems and user access.

Facilitates Remote IT Management Efficiently

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the ease of onboarding for new devices with JumpCloud to be surprising and seamless, integrating smoothly into our IT runbook for company-owned devices. JumpCloud offers a trustworthy tool for our IT team, allowing us to view and manage company inventory efficiently. I also value the ability to set device policies remotely and troubleshoot device issues with the remote assist feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the JumpCloud agent setup for macOS is okay but we had to roll back our devices using macOS Tahoe in order to install the agent due to an issue with granting Full Disk Access during install. This issue affected our workflow by lengthening the amount of time it took IT to manually set up JumpCloud on new macOS devices that ship from the factory with Tahoe 26.2 installed. Very easy aside from some manual workarounds setting up JumpCloud for macOS devices that were running Tahoe 26.2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps our IT team troubleshoot devices for remote workers and allows smooth onboarding and tracking of company-owned devices. It enables device policy setting and remote assistance, crucial for a remote workforce.

JumpCloud Simplifies Identity & Device Management Across Windows, macOS, and Linux

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud does a solid job of combining identity, device management, and access control into one cloud-based platform. It’s particularly helpful for organizations that don’t want to maintain a traditional on-prem Active Directory but still need centralized user and device administration. The cross-platform support for Windows, macOS, and Linux is a major advantage, and being able to manage policies, SSO, and MFA in one place makes day-to-day administration much simpler. I also appreciate that it integrates with many SaaS applications and can scale fairly easily for distributed or remote teams. Overall, it helps reduce the need to rely on multiple separate tools for identity and device management.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud is a powerful platform, but some areas can feel a bit complex when you’re first getting started, especially around configuring policies, device management, and integrations. Troubleshooting can also take longer than expected at times, since certain settings and logs are spread across different parts of the console rather than being easy to find in one place. The documentation is generally helpful, but I sometimes have to dig to locate very specific configuration details. Pricing can become a consideration as you add more features or users, and it may be a bigger factor for smaller organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud centralizes identity and device management in a cloud-based platform, which is helpful for organizations that prefer not to depend on traditional on-premises directory infrastructure. It lets us manage users, enforce device policies, and control access to systems and SaaS applications from a single interface. That, in turn, strengthens security with features like MFA and conditional access, while also making user lifecycle management easier and more consistent. It’s especially useful for teams with remote or distributed employees, since access and device management can be handled without requiring users to be connected to the corporate network.

Effortless Setup, But SaaS Management Needs Work

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud solves a lot of problems and pain points we faced with our previous active directory services from the cloud. It offers an easier learning curve and is more user-friendly, which makes the platform easy to understand and use. The user interface through the client application is good and it connects directly to the OS, which I think is better. The setup was quite easy, hassle-free, and we even received some onboarding support at the start to help with the setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like the user interface. Also, I could say that your SaaS management is not that good. JumpCloud can only scan the tools which are connected via Microsoft, and we are not able to get all the tools in our organization to perform SaaS management. That is one place where I want JumpCloud to work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud makes it easier with its user-friendly platform. It simplifies identity management, SaaS management, SSOs, and MFAs, offering a reliable tool for directory services. The user interface connects directly to the OS, resolving pain points faced with other cloud directory services.

Simplifying Security Compliance with Quick Support

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud simply works and they are fast to fix issues. Their response time to emails is quick, which I appreciate. JumpCloud is also more flexible and easier to configure than other solutions we've used. I find it very easy to set up, which was a nice surprise. We use JumpCloud for access list control and laptop MDM control, and it helps us handle access to our infrastructure and unify access for all of our third-party tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the sales team to be not friendly. They are a bit rigid in dealing with clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud to manage security compliance, access control, and unify access for third-party tools. It handles infrastructure access, simplifies laptop MDM, and provides flexible, easy configuration.

Useful Remote Commands and Device Binding for Laptops

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
remote commands, and adding primary users and binding to laptops are useful
What do you dislike about the product?
navigation is a bit clunky, especially when pushing remote commands and then having to click out of the UI to see the progress of the command and what the output is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monitoring access across different operating systems (Linux, Windows, Macos). Pushing remote commands for users across multiple platforms.

Effortless Device Management with Top Integration

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that JumpCloud is really easy to use. It's just an easy product to use, especially compared to other device management systems I've tried, making it by far the easiest to navigate. I appreciate how well-put-together it is, with no questioning what each part does. If I need to locate users or device information, everything is right there. Even for tasks I'm not familiar with, like updating API keys, JumpCloud guided me through it easily, which I really enjoyed. I also like how it integrates with Okta, allowing for easier onboarding and offboarding, and making inventory management and system updates straightforward. The insights for laptop replacements are also appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the insights could definitely use some more specs. I do appreciate that the specs show Windows 10 or 11 or, like, what version of the OS. But I do wish there was more device specs on there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for device management and inventory tracking. It helps onboard and offboard easily and manage systems effectively. The insights for laptops aid replacements, although more detailed specs would be helpful.

JumpCloud Unifies Identity, Devices, and Access in One Console

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It unifies identity, device, and access management
Instead of juggling multiple systems for:

user provisioning
device management
SSO
MFA
directory services

…JumpCloud puts all of that into one console. For small and mid‑sized businesses especially, that’s huge because you get enterprise‑grade control without the enterprise‑level complexity or cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Policy management can be too rigid
Several reviews note that JumpCloud often applies policies at the device level instead of the user level, which can cause unintended restrictions and make troubleshooting harder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User activity, device health, access events, and security alerts are all easy to review in one place. It helps with faster detection of security issues, provides better oversight and compliance tracking, and supports more informed decision-making for IT planning.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how JumpCloud manages user accounts and MFA to improve security. It makes it easy to onboard and offboard users. The setup was easy since directions were provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard recently had an update and it could use a better graph tool to see the incoming incidents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud simplifies enrolling and onboarding/offboarding devices, manages user accounts, and enhances security with MFA.

Want to Start Sleeping At Night? Move To Jumpcloud!

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Remote Assist feature. You can remote into a potentially infected machine with zero consequence, betcause it runs over a TCP stream going through an AWS relay, then presented to you in your browser. No RPD, no poking holes in firewalls!
What do you dislike about the product?
Uses powershell 5.1 as the underlying mechanism to perform actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I dont have to manage or worry about Active Directory. I sleep well at night knowing that Im offloading risk to a highly trusted and extremely secure third party. Also don't have to worry about a domain controller failure. Life is good!
