Streamlined Device Management and Security with Superior Support

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate JumpCloud for its comprehensive functionality as it serves multiple purposes such as MDM tool, SSO management, and DLP controls, which effectively streamline our organization's processes. The user-friendly interface and straightforward setup make it easy for me to navigate and manage. The live chat support is invaluable; it acts as a companion available anytime to help me move forward without delay. I understand the effort and cost required to maintain such responsive support, and I genuinely value JumpCloud's commitment to customer assistance. JumpCloud enhances our organization’s security standards and asset control through features like USB and sharing controls that align with our DLP policies, browser configuration enforcement that aids in keeping work profiles isolated from personal ones, and SSO management that ensures secure access from managed devices. I am particularly impressed with JumpCloud’s ease of use, the intuitive UI, and the ease of navigation. Overall, JumpCloud provides a holistic control over devices and Single Sign-On (SSO) as an added bonus, reinforcing my decision to stick with this service. The seamless integration with various applications further enhances my workflow efficiency, deservedly earning a high recommendation score of 10/10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am facing a significant challenge with software updates, which has become a major blocker. Many software applications we use are not available on the Appstore, and some need to be installed from private repositories. These applications often require internal updates that need admin access. It would be greatly beneficial if JumpCloud could provide a feature allowing users to update software through an approved or pre-approved process, which would simplify our workflow and reduce dependency on admin access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for MDM, SSO management, and DLP controls, enhancing our organization's security standards and asset control, while the user-friendly interface and live chat support streamline our processes.

Great Device Monitoring, But Storage Integration Needs Improvement

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It enables my IT team to monitor users' devices more effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were unable to configure our NetApp ONTAP storage to communicate directly with JumpCloud, which forced us to purchase a local DC license as a workaround for the storage. This added significant complexity to our infrastructure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we started using JumpCloud, we managed all of our company's users and devices through a local domain. This setup required us to contact users and have them come to the office whenever any changes were needed for their devices or user accounts.

Practical IAM Solution with Room for Enhancement

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is how straightforward it is to use and manage once it’s set up. The interface is clean and intuitive, so it doesn’t take long to find what you need or perform common tasks. Implementation was also smooth.

Their customer support has been great whenever I’ve needed help — quick responses and knowledgeable staff who actually understand technical issues instead of just reading from a script.

I use JumpCloud regularly to manage users, devices, and authentication across multiple systems, and it saves a lot of time compared to juggling separate tools. It also integrates well with other platforms like M365 and Google Workspace, which makes it a strong fit in a mixed environment.

Overall, JumpCloud offers a good balance of features and usability without being overly complex, which makes it an excellent choice for centralized identity and access management.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about JumpCloud is that some of its advanced features and reporting tools feel limited compared to larger identity platforms. The logs and analytics could be more detailed, and integrations with certain third-party apps sometimes require extra setup or scripts. Device management especially on macOS or older systems, it can be inconsistent, and scaling up can get pricey as more features or support are added. Overall, it’s a solid platform for small to mid-sized organizations, but larger environments may find it lacking in depth and enterprise-level flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has helped me simplify and centralize how I manage users, devices, and access across our organization. Before using it, we had accounts and permissions scattered across different systems, which made onboarding, offboarding, and policy enforcement a headache. Now, everything is managed from one platform, so I can easily control user access, enforce MFA, and push device policies regardless of whether the system runs on Windows, macOS, or Linux. It’s also helped cut down on shadow IT by giving better visibility into what apps are being used. Overall, JumpCloud has reduced a lot of manual work, improved our security posture, and made daily IT administration much more efficient.
