All-in-One Identity and Device Management Made Simple

  • October 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Centralized Identity, Access, and Device Management allows you to oversee all users, devices, and resources—including applications, servers, and networks—from a single platform, rather than relying on multiple separate tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The account keeps getting disabled and if we forget the password, we get blocked. We always have to contact the IT team to reset it instead of having an easier self-service recovery option.

Frequent software updates can be disruptive — they come during work hours and interrupt productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product addresses several key challenges by centralizing user and device management, which not only streamlines administrative tasks but also strengthens security. It greatly simplifies the processes of onboarding and offboarding employees, making transitions smoother for everyone involved. Among its main benefits, it saves valuable IT time, boosts overall security, and makes logging in much more convenient for users. Additionally, it is designed to scale effectively as the company expands, ensuring continued efficiency and security.

From Chaos to Control. My Journey with JumpCloud

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favourite thing about JumpCloud is how it discreetly eliminates a lot of little IT issues that tend to accumulate. JumpCloud enables managing users, devices, and access across several platforms feel more like turning a single switch than juggling too many balls in the air. I really appreciate that it isn't restricted to any one ecosystem; it functions flawlessly on Windows, Mac, and Linux without requiring me to tweak various programs. It's easy enough that I don't have to spend hours working it out, but it also offers me the assurance that everything is safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud's initial learning curve can seem a little steep, which is what I don't like about it. It takes some effort to figure out where everything is located and how to set it up the way you want it to because there are so many features crammed in. Although the UI has evolved over time, some sections still feel more natural. Although those initial steps may seem like extra labor, it actually smooths out once you get the hang of it, so it's not a deal breaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is resolving the complex issue of centrally controlling devices, identities, and access. In the past, I had to manage several technologies to ensure that security wasn't being jeopardized and that people had the proper access. I can now easily handle logins across several systems, manage users, and enforce security regulations on a single platform. For me, the greatest advantage is peace of mind—realizing that everything is reliable, safe, and expandable as the team does. It allows me to concentrate on real work rather than continuously putting out IT fires, saves time, and lowers errors.

Full control with one IT person

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is one place to meet all the ISO requirements of IT
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to know what you are doing. Especially with macOS, make sure you're not locking yourself or your employee out of the laptop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have an IT guy, and our CTO has to manage the security himself.
He defines the requirements and maintains a table of all employees, sending us warnings when we are not compliant.

Worked with JumpCloud; liked the control, disliked constant admin approvals.

  • September 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud provides a single platform for identity and device management, reducing the need for multiple tools. Its cloud-native nature makes it easy to scale without worrying about on-prem infrastructure. The ability to integrate with a wide range of applications and support for Zero Trust security principles adds to its convenience and reliability.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is that I need to go through the admin for every single update or download. This makes small tasks a bit restrictive and slows down workflows when I just want to install or update something quickly on my device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a security perspective, it ensures my devices are properly managed, credentials are protected, and access to apps or resources is controlled with strong policies. This minimizes vulnerabilities and helps maintain a safer environment without me needing to handle security configurations manually.

Modern Identity & Access Management

  • September 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is its strong focus on security. No matter is the laptop is stolen they can open without password .
What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge I’ve faced with JumpCloud is the strict password policy in our organization. After three incorrect login attempts, my laptop gets blocked, and I need to contact the administrator to regain access. Additionally, the frequent update notifications can feel disruptive at times. While I understand these policies are designed for stronger security, they can sometimes impact productivity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is enabling our organization to consolidate identity and access management, device management, and security enforcement all into one platform. It does away with the necessity of using many different tools because it integrates SSO, MFA, and endpoint control into a single dashboard. To me, this translates into being able to log in once securely to all of the apps and resources I require, while IT manages compliance and security requirements being met across devices.

JumpCloud helps me to manage various IT complexities and other associated tasks that comes with it

  • September 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having been a system administrator for a company for many years and having managed upwards of seven hundred users, it came a time when I had to create workflows and policies for users. Those policies would then automate user and system policies to monitor and manage users in most enterprise software in use. Long story short I have spent time setting up such systems that manage users, systems, and processes. I've become accustom to spending time day in day out manually creating user accounts, setting roles for users and keeping records for which applications users can access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expanding on how reporting works would be useful—I have a strong tendency to need datasets in a very particular way, and more often than not, I have to use other tools to pull the data and massage it beyond recognition. There are also times where the UI does not review the level of polish needed for more complex group management. Support has been patchy with respect to the complexity of the question, and the right question to be asked in a bid to address the concern is might not be the most convenient context.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way other solutions provided JumpCloud solves my fragmentation problem. I no longer need to context switch for identity management, device management and access control, as I work in a ‘single pane of glass’ environment. This means I have lower manual touchpoints, reduced on/offboarding setup mistakes, and more confidence access is actually controlled.
