What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple computer systems and user access.

Facilitates Remote IT Management Efficiently

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the ease of onboarding for new devices with JumpCloud to be surprising and seamless, integrating smoothly into our IT runbook for company-owned devices. JumpCloud offers a trustworthy tool for our IT team, allowing us to view and manage company inventory efficiently. I also value the ability to set device policies remotely and troubleshoot device issues with the remote assist feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the JumpCloud agent setup for macOS is okay but we had to roll back our devices using macOS Tahoe in order to install the agent due to an issue with granting Full Disk Access during install. This issue affected our workflow by lengthening the amount of time it took IT to manually set up JumpCloud on new macOS devices that ship from the factory with Tahoe 26.2 installed. Very easy aside from some manual workarounds setting up JumpCloud for macOS devices that were running Tahoe 26.2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps our IT team troubleshoot devices for remote workers and allows smooth onboarding and tracking of company-owned devices. It enables device policy setting and remote assistance, crucial for a remote workforce.

JumpCloud Simplifies Identity & Device Management Across Windows, macOS, and Linux

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud does a solid job of combining identity, device management, and access control into one cloud-based platform. It’s particularly helpful for organizations that don’t want to maintain a traditional on-prem Active Directory but still need centralized user and device administration. The cross-platform support for Windows, macOS, and Linux is a major advantage, and being able to manage policies, SSO, and MFA in one place makes day-to-day administration much simpler. I also appreciate that it integrates with many SaaS applications and can scale fairly easily for distributed or remote teams. Overall, it helps reduce the need to rely on multiple separate tools for identity and device management.
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud is a powerful platform, but some areas can feel a bit complex when you’re first getting started, especially around configuring policies, device management, and integrations. Troubleshooting can also take longer than expected at times, since certain settings and logs are spread across different parts of the console rather than being easy to find in one place. The documentation is generally helpful, but I sometimes have to dig to locate very specific configuration details. Pricing can become a consideration as you add more features or users, and it may be a bigger factor for smaller organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud centralizes identity and device management in a cloud-based platform, which is helpful for organizations that prefer not to depend on traditional on-premises directory infrastructure. It lets us manage users, enforce device policies, and control access to systems and SaaS applications from a single interface. That, in turn, strengthens security with features like MFA and conditional access, while also making user lifecycle management easier and more consistent. It’s especially useful for teams with remote or distributed employees, since access and device management can be handled without requiring users to be connected to the corporate network.

Effortless Setup, But SaaS Management Needs Work

  • March 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud solves a lot of problems and pain points we faced with our previous active directory services from the cloud. It offers an easier learning curve and is more user-friendly, which makes the platform easy to understand and use. The user interface through the client application is good and it connects directly to the OS, which I think is better. The setup was quite easy, hassle-free, and we even received some onboarding support at the start to help with the setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like the user interface. Also, I could say that your SaaS management is not that good. JumpCloud can only scan the tools which are connected via Microsoft, and we are not able to get all the tools in our organization to perform SaaS management. That is one place where I want JumpCloud to work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud makes it easier with its user-friendly platform. It simplifies identity management, SaaS management, SSOs, and MFAs, offering a reliable tool for directory services. The user interface connects directly to the OS, resolving pain points faced with other cloud directory services.

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud simply works and they are fast to fix issues. Their response time to emails is quick, which I appreciate. JumpCloud is also more flexible and easier to configure than other solutions we've used. I find it very easy to set up, which was a nice surprise. We use JumpCloud for access list control and laptop MDM control, and it helps us handle access to our infrastructure and unify access for all of our third-party tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the sales team to be not friendly. They are a bit rigid in dealing with clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud to manage security compliance, access control, and unify access for third-party tools. It handles infrastructure access, simplifies laptop MDM, and provides flexible, easy configuration.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
remote commands, and adding primary users and binding to laptops are useful
What do you dislike about the product?
navigation is a bit clunky, especially when pushing remote commands and then having to click out of the UI to see the progress of the command and what the output is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monitoring access across different operating systems (Linux, Windows, Macos). Pushing remote commands for users across multiple platforms.

Intuitive Access Management with Robust Features

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the groups feature in JumpCloud because it makes managing access intuitive. The commands are great; they run flawlessly across the fleet of laptops we have. We use the reporting a lot; it's awesome. Reporting gives us what we need in a very compact format and yet allows us to pull detail when necessary. It's great for visibility and compliance, as well as details, and it's easy to use. The setup seemed to be pretty easy, and for the most part, JumpCloud walks us through the process pretty well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like JumpCloud to be more robust on the local computer side. A lot of the time is spent trying to get the computers reporting again or they pop up saying they need review, and I find I have to reinstall JumpCloud. Sometimes users might break JumpCloud in some way, or devices might be in storage so long that JumpCloud no longer trusts them, requiring a rewipe. I'd love a way for JumpCloud to be easier to install beforehand and set aside, ready to send out to users on short notice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like JumpCloud for its intuitive group management and flawless commands across our laptops. The reporting feature provides compact visibility while allowing detailed insights, which is great for compliance. The ability to write and roll out scripts for specific business requirements has been very beneficial.

What do you like best about the product?
What do you like most about JumpCloud?

What I like most about JumpCloud is its centralized cloud directory structure. This allows us to manage many things from a single platform without needing local infrastructure. The interface is clean and integration with other systems is easy. It greatly simplifies identity management, especially for growing organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can also become significant as the number of users increases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simplicity and Centralized Management with a Few UI Hiccups

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use JumpCloud for managed authentication and appreciate it as a singular management portal for our clients' users, streamlining changes without needing to visit each individual computer. I like its simplicity, particularly in automating the installation process, and it doesn't add bloat to our computers. I think it's a great and simple product, and the initial setup was really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like even with the new UI for their website, it's a bit annoying to have to go to a devices management section, then devices, then devices again just to get to what computers we manage. There's no shortcut for it that makes it easy. I access that page the most. If the user setup can be simplified a little bit, that would help a lot. It seems to have too many fields to fill out. Maybe if it could autofill a username or display name field instead of making you manually do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud serves as a singular management portal, making user management efficient by allowing changes without accessing each computer individually. It's simpler and often better than Intune, streamlining processes and saving time.

Comprehensive IAM/MDM Solution with Excellent Support

  • March 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud's support is solid and always quick to help. The solution really offers a lot on the security front, which I find valuable. The cloud directory sync feature works really well for syncing over our users, and I appreciate the zero-touch enrollment for Apple devices. It's great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Policy management for devices has been a little tricky, especially on the Windows and macOS side. I would like to see a better flow for macOS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud handles access management and mobile device management, integrates app access with major tools, and offers strong security support. Cloud directory sync is effective, and zero-touch enrollment for Apple devices is a standout feature.
