Leaps and bounds less complicated than AD
What do you like best about the product?
The built in command runner to remote systems, especially pair with chocolatey for windows
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to see current/last logged in users on machines that have the JumpCloud agent installed on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve totally moved my organizations infrastructure off of AD and on to JumpCloud, 100% worth it!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it!!!
Great identity management for small teams
What do you like best about the product?
It’s a joy to be completely free of active directory where I can be. And offering a full featured suite for 10 or few users is a super classy move.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really do wish that they would upped their game with their included policies. But with the Ability to run Scripps on any device, it’s pretty easy to work around. But in no way This is a replacement for group policy. And I just don’t know enough about the Azure AD integration, but it would be wonderful to not have to renew the link every 90 days. That said most of my “problems” are nitpicking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My core usage for jump cloud is 10 to 15 user environments that would otherwise go without centralized identity management for a mixed fleets of Mac, Windows and Linux/NAS. I’ve never used another product that could fill that space with the same ease.
Best directory management system for today's technology
What do you like best about the product?
I love the provisioning of local accounts via the internet and how easy it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more documentation on setting up a way in Jump Cloud (script) to add local network printers to machines automatically via jump cloud
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working remotely is a breeze since we are not tied down to the user having to be onsite to accomplish tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you would like to move your directory service to the cloud Jump Cloud is the way to go
Balances security and usefulness
What do you like best about the product?
Sao is easy to set up with +200 supported end users. We use AWS and LOGZ.IO
What do you dislike about the product?
The password sync with Mac client sometimes drifts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO and password sync to multiple devices
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great if you are distributed and non Windows
JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
Platform agnostic directory services. The JumpCloud agent provides extensive management capabilities for all endpoints, regardless of OS. Support for multiple tenets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a mobile app for push notification to support MFA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized directory services for a mixed platform environment (Linux, Windows, Mac). Extending secure authentication to our clients. Managing endpoints.
JumpCloud works super well.
What do you like best about the product?
We use it mostly for SSO and remote control of Mac laptops. But Radius works well too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not found anything the team hasn't fixed yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Remote Mac maintenance
Radius

What do you like best about the product?
Able to administer user immediately from admin console
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good if we can administer when computer is not connected to internet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy installation and management
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good to administer
JumpCloud has been the antidote to identity chaos
What do you like best about the product?
Management of server SSH keys, a whole library of compatible SAML integrations
What do you dislike about the product?
Until recently, lack of verbose logging. Also the inability to simply "archive" a user without completely deleting the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staff only need to use one password to log in. User onboarding and offboarding is easy. No more Active Directory or LDAP, which has frankly resulted in a better quality of life.
Just the right solution for the remote cloud world
What do you like best about the product?
Supporting a mixed environment of operating systems
What do you dislike about the product?
Policies still being developed but more than enough for now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi OS management with support for radius. No longer need a server onsite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to move away from onsite servers and support multiplatform environments, this is a top solution.
JumpCloud - Easy And Manageable
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is easy to setup, and update. SSO is amazing. And with the new upgrade, there are more features and tools to help administer computers remotely!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more DR resources to use, not that there aren’t several. Easily setting up offline folders is still in the future. Also waiting on the remote access (rescue) feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password management (offsite), computer health monitoring, and user management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don’t delay, you’ll be happier once your users can only access resources you want them to, and they can fix their password mess ups.
