JumpCloud - There is beauty in simplicity

  • December 25, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Jumpcloud is the best directory services tool for startups. It provides 10 free licenses. It makes admin tasks easy.
2. What I like most about JumpCloud is the integration with documentation, and I can reach out to support when I encounter a problem.
3. For small organizations, the free tier is fantastic, and as your organization grows, the pricing starts to look more competitive.
4. There is no doubt that the platform is very secure, so I would recommend it.
5. Whenever you have an issue, support will communicate back and forth with you for weeks until you are able to solve your problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I do not like about JumpCloud.
1. Lack of policies for Linux and Mac systems. Tried to implement corporate wallpaper for Linux systems but it was not successful.
2. The only downside is that JumpCloud doesn't support Chrome OS
3. Admin Dashboard and UI could improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumplcoud resolved the below problems for us.
1. A JumpCloud account handles this out-of-the-box and provides unprecedented control over the end user's assets.
2. Setup and configuration are very straightforward.
3. An easy new employee onboarding and exit process is made possible by using the jump cloud solution.
4. It allows the use of many different platforms with a common authentication platform.
5. Useful for user management and device management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jumcloud is easy to set up. Awesome tool for start-up companies.
Highly recommend it for small and medium-size organizations.

JumpCloud enables remote Workforce

  • December 21, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility in deployment and can use the features at my own pace. For example, integrating JumpCloud to manage Google Workspace while retaining Google Sign-In keeps the employee experience the same while allowing my IT teams to manage the workforce more efficiently. Another feature that I find most valuable is the device management solution, specifically Windows. We can deploy and control systems in seconds from anywhere in the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
Directory Insights, a valuable tool for me, is still not polished enough. I would love to see more filtering, custom query building, reporting, and the ability to create alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that I'm solving is inherent in how we built our business. We have offices around the world, work from anywhere culture, and many cloud bases "as-a-service" solutions that allow us to be agile. JumpCloud allows our IT to be more agile.

Great solution and alternative for Single Sign On and MDM

  • December 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is a powerful solution with a lot of options including SAML integration and also MDM, depending the license and capabilities, you've a unified solution platform to solve many requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I consider required the enhancement of some user experience things in order to help the users to understand the usage and features. Is optional the provisioning of new users and offboarding process with a kind of optimizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jumpcloud as our main MDM and identity platform, it helps to maintain the users working without require more than a unique password and preventing additional steps to work in their daily basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a real good and practical solution to Startups...

Serverless Active Directory Solution

  • December 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Firstly it doesn't need a physical or cloud server running by us. It is completely working on Jumpcloud's cloud server, and we are not required to manage them. It works the same as Microsoft Active Directory, and user management is simple and easy to use. It supports many SSO and SCIM features if you need SSO solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes admin panel is not responding but not very long time and working a little bit slow. The prices are high, too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our environment uses Jumpcloud as active directory and user management. Also, we are using it as Single Sign-On solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need an active directory solution without server management, you should use it without hesitation.

AD in the cloud.

  • December 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Agents install with ease, they phone home and your set up is pretty much complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of robust MDM support has led to the need to stand up another MDM provider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AD install without needing someone with years of AD experience is a big plus.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your team is small, this is a great product to get enterprise level AD without having to set one up yourself.

Excellent system for cloud-based directory management

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We are incredibly happy with the ease of use in adding new users and deploying new systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
We currently are not missing any key features. The only downside as of now is that home directories cannot be set in a custom manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have dramatically reduced the complexity of our user management at the same time that we have increased our ability to manage and audit our user roles/permissions.
