Dynatrace Enables Exceptional Next-Gen Experiences

What do you like best about the product?
The product is marketed to everyone—from execs to designers, marketers, and engineers. That broad appeal helps drive innovation across the enterprise and prevents teams from siloing their technology stack. It’s easy to use, straightforward to implement, and quick to deliver results. I also appreciate its “business process first, technology second” vision, which is rare in the observability space but genuinely critical to making observability successful for a customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to migrate between tenants without easily losing data.

AI tooling needs to be consistent across all areas of the product.

The user experience is inconsistent between the new experience and the classic experience.

The consumption-based charging model isn’t clear—for example, what a query actually costs in currency terms, or how it maps to a percentage of the annual commitment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace enables business-grade visibility across the enterprise IT estate, connecting key business KPIs back to the infrastructure that supports those processes. This straightforward convergence of the business and technology worlds helps non-technical stakeholders understand the importance of their technology stack through an engineering-led approach, rather than relying on slideware.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace allows us to easily trace logs across many different systems and products. The problem workspace lets us quickly identify and drill into active issues and resolve quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace is a very large system and it can take a lot of time to understand all of the benefits and best ways to look for the information it has within.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving observability, alerting and tracing.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the depth of information available from the platform, and the different services offered that make troubleshooting and monitoring easier. It is easy to implement and install the agent, and it will be used frequently as we get more familiar with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit overwhelming to learn due to the amount of information and services available, but that is not necessarily a bad problem to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us with monitoring and diagnosing cloud infrastructure issues, as well as on-prem issues, and it ties all the information between both systems well.

What do you like best about the product?
Distributed tracing is one of the best features of Dynatrace. We use it everyone to help us to improve our performance and diagnosis issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a steep learning curve and take time to use all its features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pinpoint which API endpoint has issue, and provide real-time views of my services.

What do you like best about the product?
I think the most important feature is the integration of all the features and the Davis IA (which no other tool has something similar). Also the facility to install OneAgent (just a very few steps)
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the costs (since we are from Brazil, the billing in USD is a bit of expensive)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly application-side problems (we have discovered several code-issues using Dynatrace as APM monitoring for all our customers)

The capability of pulling out comprehensive monitoring data to a central place;
the AI driven diagnostics and problem prediction/prevention

long and sharp learning curve, can be overwhelming to get a good grasp of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace provides a platform where all observability data is available at a central place. The AI driven RCA is especially useful.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace workflows & log analytics is pretty amazing and probably taking observability to its next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace integration with publicl cloud would probably be an area where they can improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace is taking on self healing and remediation with their workflows and that's something which I am using it now and exploring further to utilise it's capabilities.
