Seamless Setup, User-Friendly Experience with MSTR
What do you like best about the product?
I find Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) easy to use and user-friendly. I really like the reports and dashboard features. The initial setup was very easy and seamless. Transitioning from other tools like Tableau and SSRS reports to Strategy One was smooth, and I now have around 5000 people using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Passing user id to database
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Strategy One for transactional and analytical reporting, solving issues with huge data downloads in Excel, and providing self-service and in-memory BI.
Comprehensive Analytics with Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Strategy One for its Mosaic feature, Ai agents, and semantic model. The cross-site integration and Rest API are very helpful, and I appreciate the hyper intelligence aspect as well. These features support the application development of our reporting team, making Strategy One a one-stop reporting platform. The initial setup was easy, which was a great help too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the visuals could be better out of the box. Vitara charts integration for free would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strategy One addresses predictive analytics and dashboards, supports application development for our reporting team, and acts as a one-stop reporting platform.
Boosts Reporting with Superior Data Handling
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the semantic layer and intelligent cubes in Strategy One. These features stand out as the most capable compared to other BI tools like Tableau and Power BI. The initial setup is very easy, which I find impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Copilot integration lacking. Power BI connects with Copilot very easily, and it would be beneficial if Strategy One could do the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Strategy One for handling large data volumes effectively with its semantic layer and intelligent cubes, which are more capable than Tableau and Power BI.
Empowers Data Accessibility, with Minor Transition Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I personally love the layout of the dashboards. I think the tool is easy for first-time developers to learn and I also think that the way in which the dashboards are set up makes them easy to navigate. They have an attractive appearance. I'm even more excited with the AI tools that are now available within the dashboards and the workstation tool. The auto dashboards, for instance, help first-time developers and junior data analysts to build dashboards and experiment with AI tool suggestions, which helps them better understand how to develop appealing dashboards that meet end users' needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, recently, we were on prem and we transitioned to the cloud. So I think there are certain aspects that we're trying to work out. So just little kinks like, for example, masking the URLs of our dashboards, or, being able to import some of the images that are, next to, like, the dashboards link, for example. And I also think that it's challenging for those that have no experience with Python. Now we have to, somewhat learn Python because command manager will not be available in the future. I wouldn't say it was easy. I think that it required a lot of preparation and back end work well as collaboration with the strategy migration team. As I mentioned, we recently trend, migrated to the cloud So I'm not sure if this question is related to that, but we have been working with the migration team since last October, and we're still trying to work out some of the smaller kinks to get everything up and running appropriately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe Strategy One helps make our data accessible to almost everyone in the organization, allowing end users to access data via dashboards and certain reports through the platform.
Simplifies Data Wrangling with Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automation in Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE). It's great for data wrangling, especially with structuring unstructured data and providing quick, easy access. I found the initial setup to be pretty straightforward, which is a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find accessing cube data could be quicker. It would help if it opened up much faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Strategy One for campaign updates and business trends. It automates tasks and helps with data wrangling, making unstructured data easy to access and structure quickly.
