Unreliable Proxies and Terrible Support
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, there’s very little to like about IPRoyal. The service looks appealing at first with its range of proxy options and pricing plans, but once you start using it, the problems become obvious. The proxies are unreliable, often showing incorrect locations or being flagged and blocked on most sites. If I had to mention anything positive, it would only be that the dashboard interface is simple to navigate, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that the proxies barely work and customer support is unresponsive when you try to get help. Overall, there’s really nothing I genuinely “like” about IPRoyal — the experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and not worth the money.

{"My experience with IPRoyal has been awful from start to finish. The proxies constantly fail — many of them simply don’t connect or stop working after a short time. Even worse, the IP locations are often completely wrong, showing up in random countries instead of the ones I actually paid for. This made the service totally useless for my intended purposes. A lot of the proxies I received were also not clean — clearly reused or blacklisted, leading to instant bans and CAPTCHAs on most websites. It’s obvious they recycle old, abused IPs instead of providing fresh or reliable ones. Trying to get help from their customer support was a complete waste of time. They either ignore messages entirely or give canned responses that don’t solve anything. When I asked for replacements or refunds for non-working proxies, they flat-out refused. It feels like they just don’t care once they’ve taken your money. Overall, IPRoyal is unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest. Their proxies don’t work, their IPs are dirty, and their support is one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone — avoid IPRoyal at all costs."}

Honestly, IPRoyal isn’t solving any problems for me — it’s creating them. I initially chose the service hoping to get reliable, clean proxies for location-specific tasks, but the proxies often don’t work at all, show incorrect locations, or are already flagged and banned. Instead of helping me access content or perform legitimate testing, I end up wasting time troubleshooting broken connections. The supposed “benefit” of having a proxy network is completely lost when the service is this unreliable. The constant issues and poor customer support have made the experience frustrating rather than beneficial.
Decent proxy service for small-scale business use
What do you like best about the product?
Pricing is reasonable and setup is quick. The residential IPs helped me test geo-based tasks for my small agency work. Support usually replies fast, and they’ve improved reliability over the last few months.

Some IPs feel reused or flagged faster than expected, especially in busy regions. The dashboard could show clearer status info on clean vs used IPs. A few location pools sometimes run out during peak hours.

IPRoyal helps me run regional testing and manage multiple geo-locations for my marketing and website projects. It gives me a way to check deliverability, verify how my sites appear from different states, and reduce risk when testing automation flows. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done for small-scale daily tasks.

Affordable Proxies, Real-Time Updates, Great for Geolocation Testing
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using IPRoyal for about a month now, and I appreciate its cost-effectiveness as the proxies are cheaper, especially with the coupon code IPR50. This is a significant advantage since it allows our company to cut costs, particularly because our employees use over 50GB of data monthly. I love the real-time updates feature of IPRoyal, where any changes made to the IPs are updated without needing to click generate or save, and the ability to customize IPs to any desired location is fantastic. I can generate up to 1000 IPs at a time, and the sticky IPs can last up to seven days, which is impressive and something I couldn't easily find elsewhere. From a technical standpoint, I prefer this over static residential IPs due to the understanding involved in maintaining these IPs or proxy devices. I also find the user interface of IPRoyal to be great. Compared to other providers, like 922 Proxy where the UI is boring and the sticky IPs last only two hours, IPRoyal offers a week of uninterrupted service. Furthermore, IPRoyal assists us in testing the strength of our geolocation settings and provides easy integration with Python, which is invaluable for our data scraping activities. Overall, IPRoyal enhances our user testing capabilities and maintains a high level of productivity. Their IPs are not only great in quality but also affordable, which is why I have already recommended IPRoyal to friends and colleagues.

I find the pricing for mobile proxies to be quite high, which is a concern since $117 for an IP is significant for us. Additionally, the ability to generate proxies is limited to two locations at a time, which initially was confusing. Despite eventually understanding that we can generate IPs for multiple countries, the process of having to remove one country to add another feels restrictive. Lastly, the proxies seem to consume quickly, which might impact our usage efficiency.
