What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Shufti Pro is how easy and intuitive the platform is to use. The interface is clean and straightforward, which made it simple for our team to get started without a steep learning curve. Integration with our existing systems was smooth, and the API worked well within our workflow. I also appreciate how it streamlines identity and document verification, making customer onboarding faster and reducing friction during the signup process. Overall, it has helped us handle compliance requirements more efficiently while maintaining a seamless experience for our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
During one instance, we encountered a fraud attempt in which certain users were able to successfully complete identity verification using damaged (“broken”) identification documents. While these documents were technically accepted by the system, their compromised physical condition rendered them unsuitable for defending disputes with banks and credit card issuers.
We formally raised this concern with Shufti Pro, and their team responded promptly and professionally. They provided detailed guidance on how to reconfigure our account settings to enforce stricter document validation criteria and prevent similar occurrences in the future. Since implementing these adjustments, we have not experienced a recurrence of this issue. Their responsiveness and willingness to collaborate on a solution were greatly appreciated.

There’s room for improvement in report management and access controls (better segmentation and filtering), and adding website screening would be a valuable enhancement.

Identification and Verification of individuals online including address verification and liveliness checks as well as ongoing PEP, sanction and averse media screening for individuals.

The initial user Journey was created back in 2022 somewhat in isolation, and was somewhat complex out of the box as a novice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Removes delays in getting client Director and PSC ID&V verified. Previously, we had to rely on sales teams to collect and process documentation, which often slowed onboarding and created inconsistencies. With Shufti Pro, verification is completed quickly and directly, significantly reducing turnaround times. The automated process delivers higher-quality, standardized results, minimizing human error and ensuring completeness. For audit purposes, I am far more confident in the accuracy, traceability, and compliance of the verification records, giving us stronger governance and a more efficient client onboarding experience overall.

Like most verification providers, edge-case document reviews can occasionally require manual follow-ups, which can introduce minor delays. For a growing platform, continued improvements around automation and edge-case handling would further strengthen the experience.

It works very well when embedded into our existing KYC onboarding flow, and it fits smoothly into the process we already have in place.

In some cases, the document validation feels a bit too strict.

The User Interface is straightforward and neat.

There are cases when shufti cannot detect deepfake and photoshops.

The due diligence and initial verification. It eases my work when I do customer onboarding.

Shufti Pro is easy to use and integrate with other software. It helps to verify identiy and documents to ensure that the user is the tru owner intending to use the identify and that the documents being used are genuine and valid. It makes onboarding easy and reduces the rate of abandonmnet. It provides multi-lingual support,and is easy to integrate.

Ocassional issues with verification may occur. Other than that, it is very helpful

Shufti Pro makes the process of identify and document verification very easy and seamless. It saves time, and reduces the rate of abandonment due to lengthy verification procedures. It helps to prevent fraud, financial loss and the use of dummy profiles with fake documents.
