Solid Printing Solution for Healthcare
What do you like best about the product?
We like both the combination of the end-user interface where we have been able to integrate our floorplans and printer placements at each facility into an easy to use way to map printers, as well as the back-end administrative reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish there was additional RPA integration capabilities, along with more customized reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Printing in our surgery centers is a vital function, and we have some staff that travels between our many centers. PrinterLogic cloud allows us to provide them with an easy self-service interface to map printers without direct administrator support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take full advantage of a demonstration in your environment.
PrinterLogic On-Prem - Solved the Print Server Nightmare
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use and the simplicity of setting up and managing printers on an enterprise scale.
We are currently managing over 500 printers with little to no issues.
Adding printers is simple and does not require an engineer to assist.
Our Service Desk team can create and manage printers.
We can automate the installation of printers based on IP range (site specific).
Confidential printers can be secured using Active Directory permission.

What do you dislike about the product?
We need an alternative solution to the Google Cloud Printing service which Google is retiring at the end of 2020. We are required to migrate to the PrinterLogic cloud solution in order to use the PrinterLogic cloud printing service. I would prefer to have remained on-prem but it is only compatible with the cloud service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No more sending print jobs to a centralized print queue and waiting for jobs to print. All printers are built and managed as direct-IP printers. Jobs are send straight from the end-user computer to the printer.
Centralized driver management.
Centralized printer security.
Automatic printer mapping and deployment.

PrinterLogic platform
What do you like best about the product?
The PrinterLogic platform was able to import all the printers and drivers from the current Print Server making it seamless for the transition and it took all of 3-4 hours of training for our IT team to be able to perform the implementation! One would think it would take at least a week of training for a new platform, but it was very seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about the platform. The support was great and allowed us to perform a tremendous feat of migrating off of our Print Servers nationally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've eliminated having to setup copiers/printers for end users calling our Help Desk. The benefits have been an automated process where the devices are automatically installed base on the subnet they boot up their device to, eliminating hours of support for end users.
Printer Logic makes managing our printer environment simple and user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
That it is very end-user friendly. Printer Logic does not take much time to install and configure and adding new printers to your environment is very simple and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mac OS driver uploads are tricky and have to be done from a Mac device. Sometimes the Printer Installer download does not work on the newer Mac OS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to configure all of our printers in one centralized location and have global settings applied. Printer Logic makes it easy for our end-users to locate their department printers and simply install without any help from IT.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product, doesn't take much time to install and configure in your environment, and the support is top notch. Printer Logic has made managing our print devices very easy and end-user friendly.
Printerlogic is Great and effectively manages our printers
What do you like best about the product?
The system is simple. Dead simple. Once you get used to it, you can add/remove and manage printers without any hassle. Those printers end up on our end user machines almost immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a little bit of a learning curve, but that's really it. Once you get past that, it works perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have people bouncing between buildings a lot and manage about 30 printers.
PrinterLogic Review
What do you like best about the product?
the ease of deploying printers in a multi-domain environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, we were struggling with deploying PL on Thin Clients, but after speaking with support, we learned how to deploy via IP and that looks like it resolved our issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduction of print servers. Easily manage our print drivers and updates. We also don't have to worry about legacy print drivers left on PCs.
I recommend PrintLogic
What do you like best about the product?
Takes all the time away from setting up printers on the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes. The whole system works great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Do have to purchase multiple file servers at every location. All happens over the internet.
Great Distributed Printer Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to have printer management in the cloud that is easy for my end-users to take advantage of. I can update drivers in one location and they get automatically downloaded to the users that are using the selected machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have had issues with copiers that have a Fiery controller.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of end-user printer setup and driver management for a distributed and mobile workforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a distributed set of offices that aren't necessarily on a single network this product is a must. The ability to manage the install process and driver library is a great help.
Great product with growing applications
What do you like best about the product?
The staff at PrinterLogic has been quick to address questions and issues as they arise as well as communicating upcoming changes many of which have been requested.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial roll out and staff acceptance - the upcoming ability to deploy by OU will be greatly appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Elimination of printer complaint issues is the primary goal - reduced so far and hope to eliminate with the ou deployment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have roll out plans in place including complete list of all IP printers / copiers and to whom they are deployed. PDQ is an excellent tool for the push out to clients.
Printerlogic - love it
What do you like best about the product?
nice portal to manage printers, the ability for users to go to a site and select the printer near them and install it with out the helpdesk involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to dislike at this time..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aging print server. Needing to give the users more control over the printer they select/install.
