Changed a great product into a mediocre product.
What do you like best about the product?
We actually moved away from it to a different product. The pricing continued to rise and the performance did not match the increases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Go back to your roots and remind yourself of why you were useful. A good product at a reasonable price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, none as we cannot even login to the product we ran for over a decade. We require a print server for other products we maintain and Printerlogic removed themselves from our systems.

Centralized management of my printers, easy to deploy and troubleshoot
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really dislike but the secure printing is not easy to use and setup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ever since we use it, we don't have tickets related to printer installation.
Windows print servers caused lots of troubles. No troubles at all since deploying Printer Installer.

Deploying printers per AD group membership.

none that come to my mind instantly. everything is working as expected

getting rid of printerservers and shared queues. no more time spent on troubleshooting these
Review of PrinterLogic SaaS System
What do you like best about the product?
The system easily integrates into our Active Directory and remotely accesses the system in a secure manner. I have all of my printer drivers in the system and deployments configured. All it takes is a few clicks and changes can be made to printers and rolled out seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really see any down sides to using the system as it has made the job of printer deployment one that I pretty much don't even think about any more. It is a program that is well worth the money in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we used to have a dedicated on-site file server that was strictly for the configuration and deployment of networked printers. We no longer need that server with the SaaS product that PrinterLogic has. It has cut down on maintenance and having to worry about yet another server's security needs. A few times our internal print server crashed and it took a long time to get things restored and back and up and running again; we no longer have to worry about that at all.
Powerful and easy to use printer management
What do you like best about the product?
Driver management. Standardize your printer drivers and automatically update clients with desired version.
What do you dislike about the product?
Browser plug-in is typically required for clients who want to add printers on demand. (does not effect deployed printers)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End users do not need administrative access, nor receive any UAC style prompts, to update printer drivers. Saves a lot of time when installing printer drivers.
Printer Management Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Printer logic knows how to simplify deploying drivers and managing printers and their errors in a central portal. It makes distributing printers to workstations easier then I could ever imagine after a few clicks all the work is done.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only thing is maybe having to deal with updating an agent I had to push out a authorization code and it was just a little bit of a road bump it really wasn't that big of a deal but it's about my only pain point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Printer logic allows me to let users pick what printers they want from a portal or I can make sure they get the ones they absolutely need buy a simple distribution list.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything about PrinterLogic has been absolute perfection since day 1. Uploading profiles and drivers is a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of a single thing I dislike about PrinterLogic.

Easy direct IP printing solution. No more unruly print servers!
PrinterLogic SAAS
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of deployment of printers and their new IdP deployment of printers to Chromebooks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation can be a little confusing or incomplete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No longer needing on premise print servers. Giving the users the ability to install their own printers without IT intervention.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a Cloud based solution to printing, PrinterLogic is the way to go. Once setup, PrinterLogic is pretty simple to deploy and administer.

Has to be the floor map provided to help select your printer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be an even better product if it could track copying as well as printing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing print driver deployment, defaults, reports etc...

What do you like best about the product?
We manage about 1,000 printers and prior to Printer Logic had all our printers set up on specific VLANs, this was a huge pain when schools wanted to move them around to different ports or rooms even. Printer Logic has simplified this for us and made it so that teachers/staff can move their printers around to their heart's content and we don't have to remap ports or worry about a specific VLAN for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
We really haven't had much to complain about. We do find that it doesn't work well with Safari, so we have to coach our users to set up Chrome as a default browser sometimes, but all and all its a great product.

We love this product. We compared it against other similar solutions and found it priced right, but also great customer services and sales experiences. When we talked to them about concerns, they addressed them. When we came to them with ideas, they considered them and even implemented some of them quickly. I would definitely recommend this service.
