PrinterLogic is like a macro tool for mapping printer queues and managing them via a SaaS resource

  • January 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to understand how it works and how it manages the creation of the printing queues. The fact that print jobs never leave your local network, and don't need to be sent off to some "cloud-based" processing before getting to the actual printer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing is currently based on number of print queues. If you have multiple specific printing queues that all go to the same printer you have to pay for each queue. Our solution was to merge our "Black&White" and "Color" queues into one queue for each color printer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to do away with on-prem print servers.

What do you like best about the product?
positives are simple. you dont have to deal with printer installs ever again. the user is able to click into a portal or go to a bookmark and add any printer you have granted them access to.
What do you dislike about the product?
setup takes time but is well worth it. doing it the right way and confirming features that are needed in each driver are paramount to the success of your rollout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
printer reinstall and driver updates.

Printer Logic Eliminated the Local print servers. Can load drivers and profiles for drivers in SAAS.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Printer Logic Eliminated the Local print servers. Can load drivers and profiles for drivers in SAAS platform.
It can be linked to a pure AzureAD network, with no local print servers. Extension and software can be installed with Azure. Requires a local client be installed on the machine. SSO works great no user interaction is required to install or update drivers. Devices can be installed based from groups from Azure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The remote print feature requires a local client aka small print server like raspii be installed at each site. However if the user is at the site it is not required. IPP could use a little work and the custom print screen like papercut has CPA doesn't really work. However none of that is needed, you can setup a Azure AD client and deploy to their Azure computers with no local servers who needs CPA and custom print screen son your printers when the user only has to click print and choose a printer. PS: Job Boxs and profiles can be loaded with the driver so no need for special setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Removes the need for a local Print server when not using a local Acrtive directory.
Can deploy printers with custom profiles for the drivers automatically to end users.
End users no longer have to find a printer - it will install via security groups in Azure.

What do you dislike about the product?
Comes with the downsides of dealing with a smaller company (though also the upsides).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps users print easier and with less help from IT Support.

The absolute BEST!

What do you like best about the product?
This is easily the number one IT purchase our company has made in a LONG time. The setup and implementation was incredibly easy, and the product just WORKS...period! The customer support is second to none...even though you won't really need them all that much. Not having to manage a Windows printer server is absolutely amazing, and again, the ease of integration was just amazing. Stop thinking about it and just BUY IT.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING to dislike about PrinterLogic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing users EASY access to all of the printers they need

Printerlogic Review

  • January 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Printerlogic is the ease of use when installing a priter on one of our users computers. It is normally one click and it installs itself. It also auto updates the driver when a new one is added. All of these things make life easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Printerlogic is the driver updates for Mac computers. It isn't necessarily Printerlogics fault, but when a new OS comes out on Mac, the driver usually has to be manually reinstalled to work. Along with this, Kyocera and Ricoh printers don't always install correctly and need to be manually installed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Printerlogic benefits me in the time it takes to install printers. It makes it easy to have the printers grouped by building and the install is fairly painless.

Printers Made Easy

  • January 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of detail and customization that comes from minimal effort. Detailed reporting, configurations and ease of use for end users. Simple to deploy overall, add new printers and manage existing ones. Fast support when having issues and knowledgeable experts. Quick to integrate within our environment and makes everyday printing easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still an up and coming product, features are being added frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of printers without the need of print servers which we were due to replace. Saving time for technicians that have other higher priority tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
No V4 printer driver support. Don't enjoy the pricing structure for PrinterLogic, seems too expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PrinterLogic allows us to deploy printers based on location which helps give end users only the printers they need where they are logged in from. We also use the Advanced license to print off network.
