What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very clean and easy to use. The agents assigned to work with your company are also very good as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are competitors offering a similar proposition for much less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Brightedge to monitor online visibility, what type of content we should be creating and also to monitor our competitors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If price isn't an issue, you can't get it wrong.

Expensive, Subpar Platform That's Not Ideal for Certain Industries

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting features and IDEA of Data Cube are good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data Cube does not work for certain industries (such as firearms), as it will not give keyword data. Modules often lose data connections as well and customer support is slow to respond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not many, really. We have had BrightEdge for almost a year and use free tools more than we use BrightEdge.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Only consider BrightEdge if you're new to SEO or a novice user. It's not beneficial for those who know what they're doing.

Very Robust SEO Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Data Cube is the best feature that I like. I probably use it 80% of the time for keyword research, quick check of on where we are ranking, and competitive analysis using the site comparison.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Content IQ does not give me as many technical SEO issues as compared to using something like Screaming Frog SEO or other tools. Content IQ gives me a 97 score, whereas other site audit tools give me a health score of 74. It doesn't pick up all technical SEO issues and when I asked a BrightEdge Customer Success Manager, they just said there is no harm in using other SEO tools to run Site Audits to compare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Cube really helps solve a lot of problems for keyword research, looking up organic rankings, and doing competitive analysis. The keyword gap analysis is useful to know what keywords our competitors we are ranking for that we are not. The Recommendations are useful as well as the dashboards like the Intent Signal Dashboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an easy and user-friendly SEO tool for your organization, then BrightEdge is the best SEO platform to go with. I've done comparisons and demos with other SEO Enterprise Tools and I found that BrightEdge is the best for keyword research, competitive analysis, and content creation/research.

An all-in-one tool!

What do you like best about the product?
Brightedge takes the guesswork out of SEO.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's almost too much in the platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brightedge allows us to track and optimize keywords for all of our lines of business. Having all the information within one application means I don't have to import or cross-check into another platform. I now use the platform as a starting point when I'm researching or optimizing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to learn the platform! The certification is a good starting point.

What do you like best about the product?
First off, excellent onboarding and support staff at BE. Account managers go above and beyond as a resource for not only the platform, but greater SEO as well. Excellent keyword research and reporting abilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports and on-screen elements which load in data can be slow/laggy at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding and optimizing high value/ROI web pages, enhancing their SEO value, leading to increased organic traffic and conversions.

What do you like best about the product?
There is nothing this product to which a $300 product cannot do. If you are even thinking about buying this product think twice, thrice or as many time you can think to walk away from this product
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing about this product anyone can like. Brightedge talks about their managed services and how they are so hands on. Trust me when I say that the left-hand does not know what the right hand is doing in that organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to improve our SEO ranking and help with migrating to our new site. They failed us miserably.

Save your money and look for another product

What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge empowers smaller teams to be able to do high level SEO work without needing to pay an agency a monthly retainer to do the same thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The BrightEdge platform is great for SEO, but it does take a bit more time per day/week than the company suggests. I'd plan on 2-3x what they suggest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to do site analysis, competitive analysis, and make SEO recommendations on our own once the BrightEdge tool is configured.

BrightEdge is a power SEO measurement and recommendation tool that can help save external agency costs while also empowering and teaching your marketing team.

Effective enterprise solution for organic performance tracking and auditing

What do you like best about the product?
Speed, accuracy, UX friendly interface, and great customer service.

I find it easy to navigate through the platform and find the tools that I need.
The keyword ranking data is reliable and on par with other ranking tools out there (namely SEMRush).
The platform loads quickly considering the amount of data it loads.
Customer service reps are responsive and quick to provide solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data columns on page & keyword ranking tools are hard to manage/adjust.
You have to purchase more keyword capacity if you're maxed out (though Brightedge has been pretty generous in providing ad hoc KW requests)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Search Engine Optimization - auditing, monitoring, and tracking performance.
BrightEdge provides a variety of tools that I find beneficial to my SEO efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're working for a brand that tracks performance of many keywords and pages, and if your brand has the budget for it, I'd say go for it!

We love using DataCube. It has such in-depth keyword information on almost any site.

There are so many options, not sure what to choose.

Being able to track a large number of keywords and get organic keyword data from an agency level.

Comprehensive Tools + Knowledgeable Resources

What do you like best about the product?
The Data Cube in Brightedge is a powerful tool for topic and keyword research and it comes in handy all the time. I use it for prioritizing topics for content, evaluating competitors and content ideation. I also love to work with Brightedge's professional services team. We've leveraged their expertise for migration support, technical audits and keyword audits - all with great results.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's definitely a learning curve with the onboarding process. It can take a while to get up and running with the platform and various tools. Also, the Content tool could be more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The migration support has been key with our recent website re-platforming projects. We did not experience a drop in traffic with any of the websites, which is a major win.
