Great Tool for Local SEO Excellence
What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge is a fantastic tool for anyone, like us, that has a very location-based business. As a new home builder, we are constantly focused on winning at a number of different, very localized, geographic spaces. From narrowly defined geo-capped tracking to robust reporting features, BrightEdge helps us stay on top of how we are doing across our portfolio, and is honed in enough to allow us to see and dig into problem areas. While I am certainly no expert in other tools, my team has noted that BrightEdge is definitely among the best equipped for our unique situation-- and, based on their expertise and my experience, I am inclined to believe them!
What do you dislike about the product?
While BrightEdge does a great job at providing localized results, and BrightEdge Instant is a great "quick hit" tool, we have occasionally run into some snags where Instant results feel a little "off" or don't align as well with the traditional platform reported ranking. Some of this is related to the very nature of search, and likely the continued tweaking of the Instant tool, but, given that many of the Traditional results are weekly/monthly, it has at times left us with some gaps where we algorithm updates had caused us to take and we can't determine if it is a prolonged impact OR something that is starting to bounce back sans any changes on our side
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrigthEdge is our go-to for understanding our current ranking across our region pages. With the help of this tool and the guidance of our agency, we have improved our overall ranking for these region pages by over 40+ spots over the last 3 years, culminating in an average pg 1 ranking.

What do you dislike about the product?
While it is not a dislike, I wish I had more time each day to use the tool to its fullest. There are new features and other apps that I am not using that I should be. It takes time to get into a weekly rhythm.

No good way to get cannibalization reports or bulk keyword analysis within our current tool set. We don't have insatant, but I don't think those features are there.
