Our podcast was up and running in 1 afternoon!
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside software made it so easy to record, edit and publish- even for a relative beginner. They also continue to update and upgrade regularly, making our job easier and easier, and time spent in production tasks less and less. We would highly recommend Riverside.fm to other podcasters out there looking for a professional and user friendly option.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few features weren't as intuitive as I would have liked right in the beginning, but a short chat with customer service had me on my way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm was a one stop solution for us as beginning podcasters. We loved the convenience and the seamless integration with Spotify specifically.
10X the Speed and Quality of Your Video!
What do you like best about the product?
Can't speak highly enough about Riverside. It has completely replaced every single tool in my content creation toolkit. Easily record using the studio app, great quality sound and video. Edit 10X faster by using Riverside's transcript-based editing system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to need to export videos to add music and other sound effects. But now Riverside has added that to one of their subscription tiers. So I'm 1000% sold. No downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An all-in one solution for video content creation and editing.

What do you like best about the product?
I can always expect the highest recording quality. It's also very easy to use. And the customer support helps very quickly and thoroughly.

Some features could offer more options for more personalization.

Riverside make recording and editing content easier for me and my cohost since we are in separate states.
Podcasting has never been easier.
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to use and it's never been easier to interview guests for my podcast. All I do is send them a link and it takes care of everything else for me. I even had a guest with bad internet and riverside did all the work to make sure the audio stayed synced each time the reconnected. I couldn't imagine using anything different. I use this multiple times a week.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I've found to dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside makes recording audio and video for podcasts with different guests easy and intuitive. I used to hate this part of podcast work.
Wenn is an angel and he deserves a raise immediately
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is pretty okay for beginners (people like me) but not necessarily Barney proof. (Insert Wenn).
When I messed up and quite literally deleted a file I had been working on somethign for OVER 6 hours, Wenn came to the actual rescue and helped me recover the file. I am still in absolute shock, but I am so thankful for Wenn.

It's not THAT beginner friendly but way better than Garage Band or something.

I don't know how to podcast.

It has made everything so much easier and helped with my social media.

it is hard to use with multiple people in the same room.

Makes having guests possible, Makes video podcasts so easy it is actualy worth doing, makes editing super easy, The social clips they generate are worth their weight in gold.

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has completely transformed the way we record and produce our content! The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and packed with features that make remote interviews and podcasting seamless. The AI-powered transcription and editing tools save us so much time. If you're serious about high-quality podcasting, interviews, or virtual content creation, Riverside is hands down the best platform out there. I use the platform weeekly to create content. I can easily integrate Canva and other files and overall the implementation is top notch! Have not had any issues, but I am sure customer service is awesome if I needed anything at all. Highly recommend!

At times is slow to respond, but that is most likely my internet. No dislikes!

Makes Remote Production Seamless and Enjoyable
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.FM has completely transformed my remote production workflow. The ability to record high-quality video and audio locally means I never have to worry about poor internet affecting the final product. The interface is intuitive, and features like multi-track recording and 4K video support make editing a breeze. I also love the automatic transcription feature—it saves me so much time bouncing files around from different apps. Overall, Riverside.FM makes remote collaboration smooth, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable, no matter where my team is located. Being able to produce high quality content remotely has changed how we look at the creative assets we are putting out into the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing links to recording sessions could be much smoother. Being able to click on a session or a "..." menu on a scheduled session and be able to get a link would be much easier than having to enter a session and pull the link from there
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a fully remote Saas company and our employees are spread out all over the US and some in Central America and Europe, so filming in person videos is incredible difficult and requires a major need to get to budget to pull off. With Riverside, we have been able to produce a lot more content than we would have been able to do otherwise. It has helped our content pipeline in major ways.

I love being able to easily edit my podcast episodes with riverside. It is so user friendly and I've barely even scratched the surface of all the things they have to offer!

I don't dislike anything, everything has worked well for what I need it for.

It allows me to record with myself and my guests, and easily edit so I can use the content

What do you like best about the product?
Today? Or everything? Today's appreciation for Riverside.fm goes for customer suppport. I had thought a 45 hard-to-get interview recording was completely gone from my Studio. It was not, but the date on the Project was not what I expected. When the customer service associate offered me the location and what happened, he was kind, thorough, and made sure that he found my project, but also that I understood what happened so I didn't make the same error in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides? While it's awesome that recording and uploading happens so quickly, I've had to make it a point to ask guests to keep their devices on and connected to the website for about an extra 30 minutes (and had to call them to get them back online when I've not mentioned it). Not a terrible deal, it might be worth it to make sure that both/all connections manage their own feeds to merge at the server.
