Unmatched Simplicity for Collaborations with Influencers from all Over the World
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside really blew me away with how they simplify incredibly complicated productions. We often work with influencers and makeup artists who are spread all over the world in different time zones. With the user-friendly design, we are able to take no time at all for the technical part and all our time for the creative conversation.
The video and audio editing that come with the platform are just perfect for our needs. We are able to do a quick cut of the recording from the start and the end, make the audio clearer and get a file ready for our high-end brand channels that look and sound professional.
Single tracks are a godsend for the moments when we want to change the volume of background music or the voice of an artist.

What do you dislike about the product?
These days when we talk about Beauty, it would be fantastic just to have extra features for color adjustments be directly part of the editing tool. The reason is that maintaining brand colors across all the content created by different users would get a lot simpler. We have only reached out to the support team a couple of times, and they have always been prompt to reply and mostly efficient in offering best-practice advice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has removed the distance barrier that separates the locality from content creation. We do not need to take a flight with our crew to the location of an influencer any more. We can create beautiful 4k videos remotely. Production costs have been reduced drastically along with the timelines. Our content strategy has become more flexible due to the ability of quick turnaround of a single interview into long-form YouTube tutorial, short TikTok clips, and audio podcast. The advantage is a continuous flow of genuine, top-notch content that not only maintains our brand identity but also, makes it possible to recognize it anywhere in the world.
Streamlined our podcast workflow and improved team collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
Content filming with Riverside has been totally streamlined from our side. The sound and picture quality are top-notch, and the local recording feature guarantees that every show is perfect, no matter if someone's wifi is down. Additionally, the simplicity of sending out guest invites is what I really like - even the non-technical members of our team can easily handle it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The post-production editor can be a bit slow at times with longer sessions, and the process of getting the raw files usually takes more time than anticipated. The user would have an ideal experience if there was an export option that was quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, it was a real headache to plan and carry out remote sessions. Our marketing and content departments can now work together in a more efficient way, as they can effortlessly make high-quality videos through their browsers. This has really made a difference in terms of creating sales enablement content with our brand without using studios outside of the company.
Enterprise-level customer stories require reliability, which we needed to provide.
What do you like best about the product?
One of the main reasons why we decided to go with Riverside was the uncompromising audio and video quality. We simply can’t afford to make a mistake when recording the testimonials of C-level executives from our enterprise clients. Local recording with Riverside is what ensures that we get a perfect take every time, no matter where they are or what their connection is. The screen and video capture feature is also very powerful; we use it to make detailed, tailored product walkthroughs for potential clients.
The way it fits so nicely into our workflow is just great—we run the recording, do a quick edit of the conversation, and then use the clips for our sales team, website, and all this on one and the same platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
The changeover to Riverside had such a seamless flow that locating substantial disadvantages is a tough task. In case I were required to mention something, it would probably be the data regarding the interaction of the audience with the videos that could be more elaborated to be consistent with the rest of the marketing channels we use. It is a small point and more of a feature request for the future rather than an existing problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside effectively revolutioned our content creation problem to be scalable with high-quality fidelity. In the past, creating a customer case study was a huge challenge that required the use of several tools and always anticipating that the audio/video sync and quality would be okay. Now, it is a standardized process. Because the process is so dependable and simple for our team and clients, we have quadrupled the production of customer evidence. The main advantage is that we have a strong collection of genuine social evidence that our sales team leverages to gain customer confidence and speed up the sales process.
Easy experience for non editors
What do you like best about the product?
Is very easy to use. I have no previous experience in video editing and been able to produce podcast with riverside
What do you dislike about the product?
The audio feature to edit words and edit the voice is very bad
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a podcast but don't have budget to hire editor or experience, and it make process really easy
Easiest tool to launch videos without a ton of technical expertise!
What do you like best about the product?
Simple interface, helpful how-to videos, love the AI tools! Easy to connect to other platforms. Great trial period.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would keep working on is a way to add to the list of filler words so it makes it easy to edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly produce content for my virtual program.
Seamless podcasting platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can do everything I need to do to record, edit, and publish my podcast episodes inside one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I don’t like - it’s the best for podcasting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eveything is under one roof and that’s my favorite part.
Versatile Suite of Software That is Perfect for My Podcast Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Alot of functionality and easy to use once you understand all the parts. Tutorial Videos can easily be found that are very instructive. I like the AI and Magic Segment parts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes some time to use all the functionality- and some training
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed new software for my podcast
Reliable platform for recording and editing high-quality content
What do you like best about the product?
As a small business owner, I really appreciate how simple Riverside is to use. I record client interviews and short marketing videos every week, and the quality is consistently sharp even when my guests join remotely. The screen and video capture feature feels very intuitive, and I can edit both the video and audio without needing extra software. I like that everything happens in one place — recording, trimming, and exporting. The interface is clean, and I didn’t have to spend hours figuring it out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes larger video files take a bit longer to process, especially when exporting in higher resolutions. I also wish there were a few more built-in audio enhancement tools without needing to rely on external plugins. Other than that, the experience has been very smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Riverside, I struggled to maintain consistent video and audio quality across different recording sessions. Now, I can record professional-level videos without hiring extra help or using complicated software. The built-in video editing and audio cleanup save me a lot of time, and I can quickly repurpose my recordings into clips for social media and website content. It has made content creation much easier for my business, helpingme stay consistent without adding more to my workload.
Professional Quality Without the Hassle
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up recordings is quick and painless. Guests can joinwith just a link, and the audio and video quality always meet professional standards. The platform is very reliable, and text-based editing lets us polish recordings in minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large files take longer to upload than expected, and the mobile app lacks some advanced editing features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Riverside, remote recording was messy and time-consuming. Now, our team can focus on content rather than technical issues, and the final recordings consistently sound studio-quality.
Best in class
What do you like best about the product?
I run a remote video agency. I use Riverside daily, as does my team. We use for recording client content calls and my podcast.
What I like:
- Easy to share raw video files with editor/clients
- Editor is always getting better, so I don't have to send every little video out to my team if I want a quick & dirty edit.
- The platform gives you lots of notifications if things go wrong with your tech or the guest's tech.
- Really strong customer support.
- I love the track splits.
- I think the post-production content creation process is much easier than Streamyard: you get all of your files in one place, easy access, and you don't have to click around to find them. You also get a summary with bullet points and a rough AI attempt at potential titles (TBH I never use these titles, they're pretty bad right now).
- It's really easy for guests to figure out, it's just like joining a Zoom or Google Meet.

What do you dislike about the product?
- I don't like that the price jumps from $25/mo to $500/mo in order to access features like being able to control your client's A/V. This is important for us when we work with clients who aren't tech savvy.
- If you use the text editor, it tends to leave little a couple frames of video in between cuts regularly.
- It's very resource intensive on a machine. That's fine on my desktop but my older laptop from 2018 struggles to load the studio space quickly. If you don't show up early, you're often sitting there nervously while the studio loads and your client is waiting for you to join.
- About 1 out of every 5 times there's an issue with loading into a studio on mobile on the guest's side. They need to reset the app to join.
- I do a lot of planned LinkedIn Live events for my business but you can't use Riverside for them because there's no way to connect the live stream feature of Riverside to a pre-planned event. I found this out the hard way by going live and no-one who signed up for the event saw my video -- it was streaming on my personal account separate from the LinkedIn live event.

I couldn't run my remote video agency without it.
