VERY User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface and the ease of use for my clients (many are not tech savvy) I also love the quality of the audio and the video. This has been a game changer for our business!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I can only schedule 3 sessions and have to upgrade to schedule more. I would like a simple button once I have the emails all in to be able to toggle them as audience member or guest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do a ton of remote video recording...I love that the images are stable and the audio is clean and clear.

In a regulated industry like financial advice, trust is everything. Riverside allows me to send personalised, high-quality video messages to clients. The ease of use is fantastic; I can record, do a quick audio check, and send a link in minutes. The screen capture is also invaluable for walking clients through their portfolios. The ability to make minor edits to the video and ensure the audio is perfectly clear before sending has been incredibly valuable for maintaining our professional image.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature set is so broad that we likely only use half of what it offers. It would be helpful to have guided workflows or templates for specific business types like ours. The implementation was so easy we were up and running in an afternoon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has solved the problem of impersonal digital communication. Email and text can be misread, but a friendly, clear video message builds immense rapport. It has dramatically improved client satisfaction and retention. We've also used it to host virtual Q&A sessions, which we record and edit for our website, positioning us as a helpful and transparent authority. The benefit is a stronger client-advisor relationship.

Scheduling recordings across wildly different time zones can be tricky, and while Riverside has a scheduling feature, it doesn't fully sync with all calendar systems we use. It's a small workflow hiccup we've learned to work around.

What do you like best about the product?
This is an excellent product for recording, and the AI enhancer works very well. It's also incredibly easy to use!

This isn't really ideal for editing, as it feels too slow when compared to using local editing tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The app offers features like recording on distance, and a local cache. These functions work as expected and contribute to a smooth user experience.
Great AI Tools and Script Features, but Navigation Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Riverside Pro generates a script and show notes. But the best part I've most recently discovered are the AI tools such as Magic Audio and Eye contact---best tools ever!

Can be a little bit cumbersome to navigate.

Sound quality has been made so much easier with Riverside. Magic Audio is amazing. I'm now saving hours from trying to get the audio just right. And the generation of a script and show notes is a huge time-saver.

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has enabled my small agency to win and execute projects that used to be only accessible to big studios in London. The video and audio we receive from the remote recordings with our clients are of excellent quality, and it is broadcast-ready. To my delight, we have been able to reliably capture clean UI/UX walkthroughs for our tech clients by using the screen capture feature.
Moreover, the convenience of doing the first video and audio edit in the same platform before transferring to a complete edit suite has made our workflow more efficient. One of the main selling points is the simplicity for our clients; they are always amazed at how easy it is to access a session.

What do you dislike about the product?
As a creative person, I would always be more than charmed to have more detailed native editor control, especially for colour grading, to make sure that the colour is an exact match to the client's branding with the last adjustments made on the client side. This is a very small negative point among the many positives that this tool represents for our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We faced two big issues at Riverside:first the fact that we were limited by our location and secondly the high production costs. Luckily, with Riverside, we can now operate with the top clients not only in the local area but all over the UK. The expense and inconvenience of using studio space for filming interviews and testimonials have been totally wiped out. This means that we can have a better offer in the market, make more money on our projects, and still be able to accept more work without having to increase our expenses. It has really transformed our business model positively.

For us, the dependability of the display as well as the recording is the first thing that matters. We create software tutorials and learning units, and the visual instruction clarity is a must. At present, we do a final batch processing in a specialized audio program for our top-priority content.

Our course recording and promotional content production have been entirely relocated in-house with Riverside. Consequently, we no longer rely on costly external studios. This platform addresses the challenge of achieving a standard quality of production across multiple instructors and courses. Hence, the main effect is a considerable drop of content production expenses and the availability of new courses at the shortest time. What I really like about audio editing is that it is very easy and powerful at the same time. We can just cut out the pauses and ums to get a more finished product. Our production team is super happy with the multitude of features such as the separate track download that gives them the freedom they need without making things more difficult for our speakers.

In general, it wasn't the easiest way to figure out how to set up a branded background from scratch. Our first few attempts were not successful and we had to repeat the process in order to achieve the desired result. However, the branded background becomes effective for every use after the initial setup. This issue is just a small problem amid an easy and quick execution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has changed the whole scenario with the poor quality of webinars and the difficulty to reuse them. Our on-demand versions used to be so bad that we could hardly see the screenshares and hear the audio. Every webinar is now a clear and perfect recording which we can comfortably edit and divide. We turn them into the content that our audience really wants: we extract the most important points and publish them on LinkedIn, we transform data characters into videos, and we also use the audio to produce our podcast. As a result, the lifespan and the ROI of webinars have been increased, which has a direct impact on our lead generation.

What do you like best about the product?
It is the faithfulness that really convinces. I, as a founder, talking to a technical audience consisting of developers, engineers, and investors, would find that even the smallest visual distortions, a slight delay in the synchronization, or muffled audio can be irritating to the point of instantly discrediting your whole idea. On the other hand, Riverside is like clockwork delivering a very clean, the highest quality recording of the studio, without any trouble. Also, the individual WAV and video tracks for each participant are extremely valuable; this way, our post-production team has the cleanest possible files to work with, which is a big saving of time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite the fact that the primary recording experience is perfect, the tools for the end product seem somewhat disconnected. For rapid trimming, the integrated editor is usable; however, we almost always shift all our work to a professional editing suite. This would be a great step if there was a better connection between these two or an export function that could automatically prepare an edited version. This remains as a small issue with the product that is otherwise great in every other aspect.

Riverside has essentially eliminated the issue of us being able to communicate with our team members in a proper and detailed manner when the company decided to grow. As a result, we use it to capture all hands meetings with remote colleagues, which is an excellent way to keep records. In addition, it's also one of the leading sources of our external communication such as podcasts and videos for educational purposes. The freedom of recording with guests who are far away in different continents and time zones and not having to be concerned about their internet connection disrupting the end product is a big impact both on our daily operations and strategic planning. It ensures to our brand's high-quality standard.
