We approached the problem of poor remote interview quality and eventually resolved it fully.

What do you like best about the product?
It is like comparing the night and day. Our website features long-form interviews which are our primary content. We were constantly fighting echo, compression artifacts, and dropouts with other services. Riverside's local recording is what makes it seem that every participant is in a professional studio even if they are just using laptop microphones. Video quality is equally good. The individual tracks for each person make the editing process very easy and if one guest has a noisy background we can get rid of the noise from their audio without affecting the other's audio. The platform is so simple that our hosts and guests hardly ever face any trouble in joining a session which is one of the reasons that our production schedule is going great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is almost perfect in terms of editing, and I wish the editing features were a bit more powerful. It is great for simply removing long silences or ums, but if you want to do something more intricate, you still have to take the videos to a different editor. Moreover, it has been our experience that in case you want to get full, high-quality video files for each participant, it may take quite a few minutes, and thus you should make your time accordingly. There is also some slowness in the initial upload to the platform before the files can be processed, especially if your internet connection is not very good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has completely removed the concern about the quality of audio and video for remote interviews that we used to have. The main issue was the inconsistency and unprofessional sound that accompanied our content, which made it hard to create a premium brand feel. At present, we are totally sure that the original footage will be of good quality and can be used without any additional work. Such dependability is our great advantage because we save a lot of the time and money that were going to the audio cleaning part of post-production. In addition, it makes our content team more work productive and we are able to get high-profile guests who are the recipients of a trouble-free and professional recording experience and so they will be pleased.

Just what we needed: executive communications made with great reliability.

What do you like best about the product?
At first, I only thought about using Riverside to record our quarterly all-hands meetings when the leadership team is fully remote. Its strongest feature is the consistency. The video and audio of every participant are recorded in high resolution locally, so if one individual has a weak Wi-Fi connection, the whole recording will not be affected. Due to the simplicity application of the product, our busy executives were able to join the call without the need for a technical run-through. The biggest post-production benefit is the greatest support; communications crew with the separate tracks can use this to do audio clean-up or single speaker focus without their other tracks getting affected. The sharing of the screen is also very clear which in turn is the most vital thing in the presentation of the slides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Given that video is their strength, the platform comes with just enough basic built-in editing tools for trimming, however, they don't have the quality of the video team for a high-quality final cut. We normally take the tracks export and editing separately. Videos in full resolution take up a lot of space which is great for the quality but you have to consider storage and transferring if the recordings are long. However, we had only one instance in which the service was down, and thus, we had to cancel the recording, which was quite frustrating, although it is mostly reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is essentially the instrument that enables us to maintain the qualitative level of our internal and external executive communications both at the professional and standard level. At first, we were grappling with varying audio levels and video qualities of the leaders who were coming from different locations, and this was, without our realizing it, producing a less polished image of our brand. Right now, every single one of the communications, whether it be internal updates or public-facing webinars, is of the same standard and has the high-quality vibe. Consequently, our brand presence becomes stronger and more cohesive, and the likelihood of the message being affected by the technical issues is reduced. As a leader, it affords me the assurance that our communications will not be of a lesser standard than our work.

Our team content repurposing has been taken to a whole new level by this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The transition was without any problems. The interview which was conducted remotely was our first and it happened within an hour of us signing up. The description of rather than this or that, the separate, high-quality tracks for each speaker are the best things one can say; this is because it provides pristine material for the post-production team. Perfect for our software demo videos, the screen capture feature is as efficient as the video recording process. We use it for our weekly internal town halls and client case study interviews. Quite clever is the text-based video editor which is a feature that saves us an enormous amount of time when creating short clips for social media and thus we are able to repurpose a 45-minute interview into a dozen assets in an afternoon.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app, which is only functional, cannot compare with the desktop browser version of the app that is more beautiful and user-friendly. We had a guest who mainly uses a tablet, and he said that the controls were a little bit hard to understand. The live streaming features of the platform that are meant to be compared with the incredible execution of other areas, seem to be a little bit behind the time when compared to those of a live streaming dedicated service. I would add that while staff responded to our problem, their first email was a generic one that didn't really acknowledge our specific technical query about file formats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solves the problem of how to increase content production without the need for more budget or causing more production problems. The chief pain was the difficulty and degradation of quality that we faced when using other remote recording tools. Each participant's locally recorded audio and video are of excellent studio-grade quality, and thus Riverside has eliminated the quality gamble. This is enhancing the ROI of our interview-based content in a very fundamental way. Every conversation, which is turned into the very reliable foundation of our entire content engine, is utilized to the fullest extent.

The Go-To Platform for Flawless Remote Interviews

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The unparalleled audio and video quality is what truly sets Riverside apart. As someone who regularly records interviews with clients and industry experts, I need a platform that guarantees studio-grade results without requiring a technical setup. The separate, high-fidelity tracks for each participant are a lifesaver in post-production, giving my team perfect clarity and flexibility. It just works, every single time.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the core recording experience is exceptional, the built-in text-based editor feels a bit basic compared to the rest of the platform. For quick edits, it's fine, but we typically download the files for more advanced polishing in a dedicated editing suite. A slightly more robust in-browser editing feature would make the workflow even more seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has completely eliminated the anxiety of recording high-stakes remote conversations. Before, we struggled with sync issues and inconsistent audio on other platforms, which undermined our professional credibility. Now, we can confidently record podcast episodes and client testimonials with participants from anywhere in the world. This has not only elevated our content quality but also significantly expanded our production capabilities without increasing our budget.

Helps keep our remote recordings smooth and consistent

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has made it easier for us to record interviews and team discussions online. The audio stays clear, and even when someone’s connection drops, the recording isn’t lost. The platform is simple to use, and guests can join easily through a link without any setup. I also like that the files save automatically and can be accessed later without any trouble. It feels dependable for regular use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes longer videos take a bit more time to process, and I’ve noticed that editing directly in the browser can lag if multiple tracks are open. It’s manageable, but a small area for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier we had issues with sound cutting out or losing sync during recordings done over other tools. With Riverside, those problems have been reduced a lot. It keeps things more stable, and we don’t have to repeat sessions anymore. It saves time and gives us consistent results for our projects.

Efficient Podcasting with Great Clips—Just Missing Built-In Publishing

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has helped me be more efficient in my podcast recording process. I love the magic clips for YouTube shorts and Reels, the ease of editing transcripts, and the sound and video quality in the recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm looking forward to having a podcast platform attached to Riverside to cut out additional steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using AI on Buzzsprout that was lack-luster. I was able to cancel that additional cost and love what Riverside has to offer.

Professional quality, but without the production hassle.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Itsaudio and video quality were the main points that convinced us. We do a monthly podcast and bring on guests from all over the country. And internet connections have always been a problem. Even if a guest's connection is bad, Riverside's local recording feature makes it possible to have an excellent, high-fidelity recording from their side. Our editor is greatly benefitted from the separate audio and video tracks for each participant. Also, the capacity to record the screen and video of everyone at the same time has been wonderful to the short, impactful clips for social media. Our guests are able to join without any technical support as the procedure is quite understandable. My team can do quick edits by utilizing the platform's in-built editor which is quite easy and they do not have to send the files to another party.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basically, the audio is of a high standard; however, the accompanying editing features might only be appropriate for simple operations and could be seen as somewhat limited if compared to a fully-fledged desktop editor. For instance, the example given was that one cannot as easily directly make highly accurate changes to a multi-track timeline. It was during this time that we also ran into a situation where a recording's processing took longer than it usually does before it could be downloaded, and for this reason, we had a slight delay in our publishing schedule. Possibly, the enormous number of features may overwhelm you at your first attempt, but very soon you work out which ones are necessary for your daily workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside takes care of issues which were a thorn in our sides - the fluctuation in guest audio/video quality and the mammoth file sizes that come with high-res recordings. Previously, we used to ask our guests to shoot videos on their phones, and then syncing and cleaning up those files would eat into our time. Currently, everyone sounds and looks as if they are in a professional studio, which elevates the perceived quality of our brand. So, there has been a very drastic reduction in both pre-production stress and post-production editing time. The crew is no longer bogged down with technical problems, but rather, they have time to focus on content promotion and audience engagement. High-quality podcast production which was a logistical nightmare has now become a manageable part of our content strategy.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is incredible. I've seen Riverside develop into something truly impressive. It's become one of my go-to programs, and I use it several times a week. It saves me hours and functions like a full production team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish i could down load direct from YouTube, but that's not that necessary. Riverside already does more than anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What would normally take me days, takes minutes.

Helped to Make the Usually Complicated Process of Remote Content Production Straightforward

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our marketing team has benefitted greatly from Riverside in terms of producing remote video content. We can easily record both screen and webcam at the same time and the audio editing tools allow us to quickly clean up interviews and webinars without the need for a third-party software. Also, the interface is designed in such a way that even technically inexperienced team members can find it intuitive. The tasks of exporting content in different formats for use on social media or in internal presentations are both easy and dependable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The timeline editing could get a little more work done if the team was longer recordings. There are times when I have to go through extra steps to fine-tune audio, but I can handle it for most of my projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before the implementation of Riverside, the process of producing video content remotely that was on point with polished standards was a tough one and demanded the use of several different platforms. Nowadays, recording, editing, and repurposing of content can be done in a single location. The result of this intervention has been a decrease in the turnaround time, a reduction in the number of production errors, and the enablement of our team to consistently deliver high-quality content for campaigns and internal communications. In general, it has not only made our workflow more effective but also has had a positive effect on the content delivery speed across different departments.

Riverside gave us broadcast-quality recordings without the studio overhead

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I really appreciate about Riverside is how effortlessly we can record remote interviews and screen-capture sessions in high quality — the local recording feature means even if a guest’s internet fluctuates, we still get clean audio and video, and the workflow is simple enough that even non-technical team members jump right in.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I’d improve is the built-in editing and export process — when we work on longer sessions or multiple camera layouts, the export can take a bit longer than expected, and some premium features remain behind higher tiers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Riverside, our setup was disjointed — we managed varying internet connections, guest hassles, sync issues and post-production delays. With Riverside everything is streamlined: recording, editing, export all in one place, and we’ve significantly reduced production time while improving our end-product quality.
