The Easiest Way to Record and Manage Podcasts or Video Content
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside lets creators put all their recordings into one place. With the newest features allowing editing and clips for social media, the platform is complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the recordings are out of sync due to bad internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to create studios for each show I host, edit or produce and keep the files organized.
The BEST Remote Recording Software Available
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is super easy to use, especially on the guest end, and we capture great footage every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints here, only feature I wish was available was the ability to download multiple tracks with a single selection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a podcast company and film remote interviews every week. We needed a solution to capture high-quality audio and video to keep with our publishing standards.
Finally, a One-Stop Video Podcast Resource
What do you like best about the product?
While there are many video resources for Podcast Hosts as myself, plug: TheThrillerZone.com here, it's nice to find one that really works. High Quality, Great Customer Service AND Nice People; who does that? Riverside.fm does. Thanks!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to "switch on the fly" (like some of your competitors), and a Light Mode would be nice, but mostly I'd like to be able to rearrange windows on command (while recording). Small things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cutting down steps. Which saves time. ANYTHING that saves steps & time is my HERO!
Streamlined solution for remote video and audio podcasting sessions.
What do you like best about the product?
The browser text based editor has really come a long way in just a short time. We initially selected Riverside just as a recording platform and edited off of the platform but I have to say with the exception of a few tweaks we edit all of our YouTube episodes and 90% of the audio episode right inside the Riverside editor. It's that good. Audio sweetening, color correction, captions, formatting. It's all there and it's snappy and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Live streaming to YouTube and FB isn't always the most intuitive process but some of this is due to limitations of those platforms specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem was how to record remote sessions from halfway across the country and keep the quality of the video and audio high. Riverside accomplishes this because I and my guest are both uploading original files within the app during our session. Even if one of us looks a little blurry during the interview I know what they're uploading is a full quality video file for use later. It's extremely convenient and frankly a much better solution than Zoom.
Riverside is helping me do the work of two people for my podcast
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to edit videos vertically. As I work on launching a YouTube channel, it will be essential to have different formats available. I also really like their in studio features, which helps with echo cancelation on top of our equipment used to record.
What do you dislike about the product?
What's not to like? If anything, I'm waiting for the AI made text we can edit and immediately cut the video by cutting the script. This takes one of Descripts' best elements to help with efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is helping greatly with social and video cuts. This helps grow the podcast and brand awareness across social channels.
Riverside.fm has been a game-changer
What do you like best about the product?
Rivside first attracted me because of the local video recording that nobody else was offering. They have continued to add new, helpful features that show they truly understand their customers needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've tried to use Riverside for live streaming a few times and run into issues. Not catastrophic issues, but still enough to make us consider other platforms when the live experience is important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording both audio and video high quality remote interviews. Also quickly recording high quality video and audio for solo recordings.
Easy to navigate and use for a beginner
What do you like best about the product?
It's daunting getting into podcasts and video interviews for the first time. Of all the platforms I looked at, Riverside did a great job demonstrating their software. After the free trial, I was sold. It was perfect for my requirements!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike as such. However, I wish there was an option to blur user recording's backgrounds or even faces for anonymous guests. I also wish you were able to customise studios more, with different logos, and visual appearance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One place that does it all. Rather than using multiple platforms to achieve the same results.
Superior Hosting
What do you like best about the product?
I love the audio condensor, the effects, and the ability to invite multiple guests at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
That guests need to stay on the application for their video and audio to uplaod.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to get high quality video from guests
The Gold Standard for Remote Podcast Recording
What do you like best about the product?
The way riverside works by recording local files and uploading to the cloud while you record PLUS automatically recording a backup file is remarkable. Only once have I had an issue with the high qulaity recording (because I actually ignored the warning prompt that there was an issue with my guests operating system) but I was still able to use the automatic backup file that is created.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the only drawback is the limited compatibility with operating systems and browsers, but this is almost never an actual issue as long as you coordinate well with your guest ahead of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside allows me to record high quality remote podcasts that other software like zoom do not. The ability to record the files locally and then mix them together is the gold standard of remote recording because this means that the final product for my listener is insulated from any internet issues, which is indispensable given my sometimes unreliable internet here in Mexico.
A-grade platform!
What do you like best about the product?
The flexbility with the recordings, in terms of export format options.
How you layout the screen etc.
How you layout the screen etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess perhaps the file size/waits to export, but that is not something they can do anything about.
It would be handy to be able to have a standard holding image you could upload if you turn your camera off what starting a stream....
It would be handy to be able to have a standard holding image you could upload if you turn your camera off what starting a stream....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
High quality video and audio recordings. Cloud based so makes storage easier. Web based helps when recording off different devices.
