Podcast like a Pro
What do you like best about the product?
I felt like a pro from day 1 of making the switch to the Riverside.fm platform. Having access to all of the tools and software makes a difference in creating an award winning experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is absolutely nothing I dislike about Riverside.fm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm provides my companies with a one stop shop to create and edit quality recordings to put forth in the marketplace.
Exactly the right tool for the job!
What do you like best about the product?
It is perfect for podcasting in all facets. From recording to editing to producing great audio Riverside has it all covered. I probably like the fact that I can get individual audio and video tracks from each person that are recorded locally. So even if there is an issue during recording I still get clean audio and video to use in post.
What do you dislike about the product?
the video editing is somewhat klunky but it allows me to download video from individual feeds to I can edit in a different environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it gives me separate video and audio feeds which makes editing the final product so much easier

What do you like best about the product?
My colleagues and I were searching for the right technical solution for a podcast we were about to launch at NYU, and we decided to use the Riverside platform. Since we have been using this platform, I have been very pleased with the reliability of the platform (It works every time), and the great convenience of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd appreciate the option to use a custom background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Higher quality than Zoom for recording interviews, Very convenient way of archiving video and audio files, that makes it easy for retrieving the files for post-production
One great piece of software that works for podcasts
What do you like best about the product?
I have previously used zoom.us and other tools for my video podcasts. Recording is one thing, then downloading everything, editing intro and outro, cutting out parts. It just takes some time. With Riverside I have now found the one and only. I have a mediaboard and can add sound effects directly, I can cut directly in the browser and then only one download for YouTube. From Riverside I can publish directly to Spotify the episode. It takes a lot of individual steps from me, which gives me more time for other things. In addition, I can create multiple studios if I have multiple podcasts from and all under one roof. I also recommend the YouTube channel, where I have received many tips and tricks for the light. What I really like is that I can use multi cams, just put an iPad next to it and add only the camera in the studio. Just awesome!

What do you dislike about the product?
The Export takes often some time for episodes over 20 minutes. But they email you when its ready so that you can do other stuff in the time (ex. write the shownotes) :)

Its solves the "zoom Problem" it records local on host and guest side with the full settings. So you dont have the 480p or 720p with "crizzle-wizzle" in the record. YO can have 1080 or 4k.

What do you like best about the product?
Modern design and the ability to record in 4k. Also the ability to switch whos talking

Sometimes if the internet isnt that strong, the video comes out blurry.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started recording our podcast on Zoom, but the audio would drop out, and sometimes the picture would freeze or pixelate. Because Riverside FM records locally and then uploads (instead of recording over the internet), it has way better audio and video, with no drop outs. The ability to create video clips for socials is an added fantastic bonus that we've used consistently to help grow our social channels, and reach new audience!

Riverside is THE podcast recording platform. We recommend it to all of our clients due to it's high quality recording options, simple UI, and multitude of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only caveat is that Riverside can be resource heavy, and in case you have an older machine - might require it to be the only active tab in order to operate without friction.

It's helped us streamline our editing process and take away extra steps from clients, such as retrieving files.
