Perfect Tool For Creating High Impact, Low Effort Content
What do you like best about the product?
Plain and simple:
1. Your guest having a slow internet connection is no longer going to ruin your end product. No more trying to figure out how to edit conversations for dropped/laggy audio. No more going back and asking guests to re-record.
2. High-quality audio/video gives your editor much more to work with when getting creative in post.
3. Sharing files with editors is simple
4. Categorizing content by series makes finding/sharing simple

What do you dislike about the product?
When someone does have slow internet you just need to let them know to not close the browser window until it's done uploading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're creating a "media company" here at Lavender in the true sense of the word: a Netflix-like experience. When people come onto LavenderLand they will see series shot in studio with full production teams right next to series that were shot remotely. The audience comes to expect a certain level of quality when they enter any platform: TikTok you expect to see phone-quality vertical video. LinkedIn, you expect to see low-quality, grainy Zoom videos. Netflix, you expect to see cinema-quality video. We want to be as close to that Netflix experience as possible when people come to LavenderLand, but we don't jump right into high-production series. We first have to prove the concept of the show as low effort and low-cost as possible. We do this by using Riverside.
Riverside makes it easy for anyone to podcast!
What do you like best about the product?
I consider myself pretty comfortable with tech, but intimidated as hell with all the equipment required to record a decent sounding podcast... until I found Riverside. Now it's just me, my Yeti mic, and Riverside busting out content with ease!
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I didn't think it was as easy as it really is. I tried to overcomplicate the process. The training videos from Riverside eliminated this issue and now it's smooth sailing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has lowered the barrier to entry for recording my podcast and hosting guests. It's eliminating my excuses for delaying and I'm excited to go into the studio and make magic.
My magic carpet to podcasting.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy UX and simple instructions. Raising the bar with platform recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can say so far! Let's stay in touch and grow together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easier way of understanding the downloading process and also clear indications when the video is uploading and sometimes gets blurred (not related to wi-fi connection).
One-stop solution for all your video & audio content needs
What do you like best about the product?
Been using it for my Video Podcast and quite impressive on the fact I don't need to go anywhere else for shooting, editing and publishing. Fav feature: Local Cloud Recording.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike at all. But would love to get future updates on eye correction, thumbnail generator and more...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording locally -> eases post production.
Upgrading to best quality audio & video
Easy editing via transcibes.

Riverside is an amazing podcasting tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Riverside records from both sides so it doesn't matter if there's a loud noise in one room, or if one person's internet goes bad while the other person is talking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that they're coming up with some new editing tools that would be helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is so much better than recording podcasts on Zoom because it records from both sides! This saves me lots of podcast editing time.
Riverside.fm offers a great, affordable service for podcasters
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm makes my virtual interviews easy and high quality, especially the audio. I have had no issues so far using this service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing part of Riverside.fm is not very sophisticated. I do most of my editing using a different application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a new podcaster; therefore, I have not yet invested in sophisticated equipment. Because of the services Riverside.fm offers, I can produce a podcast with high-quality audio and video affordably.
No more unpleasant surprises
What do you like best about the product?
I just hit a major milestone with my podcast, ADHD-ish - 300 episodes. Over the 5+ years I have hosted a weekly podcast, I have used 4 different recording platforms prior to Riverside. While each one had features I liked, only Riverside had everything I wanted, plus rockstar customer service. And, Riverside just keeps adding more features and enhancing both quality and ease of use. I love the flexibility to record solo or guest episodes, audio, video or both and on the rare occasion when I have a problem, Riverside's responsiveness is second to none.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because I record both solo and guest episodes, I wish I could set up two different studios without having to upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had pretty frequent problems with file uploading issues when I used Squadcast but since switching back to Riverside, they have disappeared.
Really cool features, ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
I started my podcast through Riverside. Having the ability to just send the link to the guest, and have them do their talking without worrying about their internet speed is game changer. And then you add so many ways to export videos - too good. Post recording, you can remove portions of recording by just selecting and deleting the relevant transcription.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Except maybe allow user to zoom in on the recording/transcription for finer editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping create podcast without worrying about tech and internet issues
Excellent remote recording for interviews
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Easy for my guests to log on and use as well. I love the editing features that they offer to make editing quick and easy and ready to publish fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would not say there is anything in particular I dislike. If I had to criticize I would say offer more features on the editing side but again, I am not sure how that would be more optimized. Perhaps be able to post direct to YouTube as well? I see the option to publish to Spotify but not to YouTube directly?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to use product for my remote interviews for my podcast. It also allows me to edit all in one place versus submitting to iMovie or similar product to edit. Also offers transcripts which are amazing to use!
Love the service and the software
What do you like best about the product?
Feels like a more professional platform for recording. Certainly the video is crisper and the audio doesn't have the glitches I had to deal with on Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes have two guests plus me. Haven't figured out if I can do that yet on Riverside but it is still early days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been podcasting since 2008 while wandering around Europe and elsewhere. Riverside provides reassurance that even though I'm not working in ideal conditions or in a beautiful studio, i still get studio level sound and video.
