Excellent choice
What do you like best about the product?
I was hesitant to try Riverside because so many folks recommended other platforms. However, riversid makes recording my podcast super easy. I did not have to be an expert or hire an engineer to get started. I look and sound amazing so I am happy I chose Riverside.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it integrated with more platforms for exporting which would help with storage etc. right now it only exports to descript and I used another platform. If it could work on integrations that would be great!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside provides a space for me to record high quality audio and video. Other okay forks that do both slack usually on the audio quality to accommodate for the video but this is not the case with Riverside
Riverside.Fm... It Simply Works!
What do you like best about the product?
As an editor. A content creator. I LOVE having access to all the raw video and audio. Both host and guests. PLUS. I love the simplicity of Riverside.FM
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, I'm not really finding any cons. Hopefully that continues. Especially when I start live streaming soon. Fingers Crossed🤞
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I just recently started a podcast, 'Meet Us In The Man-Cave' I want my content to not only sound great, but look clear as well. Riverside.fm has been amazing
Making Podcasting Easy
What do you like best about the product?
My Podcast Director suggested Riverside and I am so glad I opted for this. It helps my virtual assistant and I take some great content for my social media for the podcast. Also, the editing is super easy for someone that doesn't know how to edit easily. And the customer service is the bomb!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing stuck out to me so far. I think it is a learning curve and each time I do something, it makes it easier. It is going to take time for me to understand edits but that is based on me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm is helping me with my Podcast, along with grabbing great content for my social media. I am excited to start my podcast, The Everyday Healthy Human with Riverside.fm!

What do you like best about the product?
I no longer need multiple apps open to record my podcast. Instead I just use Riverside or the app and have access to high quality audio and video

When my computer does freeze, the recording will stop. I wish it would just continue to record

Best tool for podcast recording
What do you like best about the product?
RiversideFM is by far the best recording tool for podcasters, with super easy controls, great UI, and impeccable recording quality. The clipping functionality is a great addition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, a team is not supported on any of the non-business plans. This is very frustrating if you need one or two extra colleagues to access the recording but do not want to pay thousands a month for your recording software. They do not offer any discounts to small teams, startups or the likes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Podcast recording as well as clips for social media usage. They allow us to easily export video and audio for editing.
A tool that changed my life as a podcaster
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and effective, allowing you to concentrate on what's most important - not the technique, but the voice, the questions to ask, the fact that you're concentrating and present and not having your mind occupied with whether or not the software is going to fail me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular, I can find everything I want in this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to produce high-quality interviews and download them in a variety of formats for sharing on various social networks without having to use any other software to do this.
UX is on point
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is very user friendly. While I have worked in film production, I'd never worked in podcast production. I found the design and layout of the site and buttons very easy to use. Also the AI transcript editing software is so intuitive and spot on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do think it would be great if Riverside.fm adopted premiere hot keys in the editing software so that editing could happen with more precision in the studio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to edit through text transcription!
Terrific Service
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has been terrific in helping us launch our podcast (The Horrror Lab). My co-host and I have connected with ease, and the Raw Audio files are crisp and clear.

I've not encountered any significant issues with Riverside tothis point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My cohost and I are 500 miles apart, so it's important for us to use a high-quality, reliable hosting service.

Love the functionality and ease of use. Works like it should without having to spend hours figuring it out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything that I dislikee yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording video from both people during a conversation.
Amazing product
What do you like best about the product?
I didn't even really know about local recording but found out about Riverside when researching ways to do video testimonials with customers. It's been an amazing experience and so much easier than what I was originally planning to do (screen recording conference calls). We are going to produce so much content with Riverside.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quality is low while recording but I think that's just the cost of business for great local recording files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are recording video testimonials and case studies with Riverside. It's really easy to invite them into a room and then get the high quality local recording after. Only alternatives would have been much more of a pain.
