Great product for podcasters and getting better by the day
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the recording, is top notch and you never have to worry about your, or your guest internet connection. Also the new magic cut feature ius revolutionary, maening I can now get lots of social media clips at the touch of a button, literally
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that ou have to wait for uploads on both ends to finsih before you end the session. This can sometimes seem a bit inconvenient to ypur guest. Also I can't find a way to edit captions on the fly, which is a real problem if somoething isn't transcribed correctly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now have a platform where I can record and edit my podcast all in 1 place. Most importantly, the quality is amazing and it allows me to create social clips from inside the interface as well. I used to have to use several different programms to do this, now I can do in 1 place, which means I'm saving time and money
A smart, easy to use system
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of Riverside.fm. Setting up the studio is easy and the quality of the recordings is much better than many other platforms. Since the new additions of clips, my productivity has increased so much, it's allowed me to put more time in planning the show rather than worrying about the tech.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes guests seem not to join the studio even when I've sent the same link but I think that's their issue rather than Riverside.fm. I wish that it could automatically send me a monthly invoice via email rather than go into the platform to download it - but these are very minor issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to have a better solution to interview guests. My main podcast is a co-hosted show, but we are both on opposite sides of the planet. Using Riverside.fm has helped improve the quality of the audio as it records locally and uploads it ready for me to edit. Super reliable. I know that, if the connection becomes flaky one of us can keep talking and it will still record.
Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
There are 5 things that I love about Riverside.
1. The simple studio link. Guests never have an issue getting it.
2. All of the audio/video controls. It makes it super easy for me to see what mic and camera my guests are using and it makes troubleshooting issues very easy.
3. The upload-as-you-go feature has been HUGE for me. My internet or my guests are not always stable. This feature has saved me many times.
4. User-friendly. Overall, it's been very easy to learn and use.
5. Their free webinars and training have been awesome! I always learn something. They have a great team that is focused on helping us.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike. There are a few things with downloading recordings that could be easier, but I also use a third party editor. If I was doing all of my editing in Riverside, I probably wouldn't care about this issue. In fact, I've been considering dropping the third party and just using Riverside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes hosting a podcast super easy. From the simple studio link to all of the studio features. This allows me to be more productive and it makes for a smoother experience for my guests.
The Perfect Podcasting and Youtube Enabler
What do you like best about the product?
The riverside UX is a delight, which enabled me to create my first podcast/youtube channel content with Ease. The first time out, everything worked flawlessly, and I could easily use the intuitive interface to generate a professional edit with near zero effort, or annoying technical demands.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike, perhaps the ability to add images/logos to individual Studio settings would be an
extra nice to have (to help with branding/awareness for guests)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to produce polished, pro-level, easily editable video content. I decided to start a niche, Youtube based pod, wich would feature multiple guests. Riverside's intuitive UI and UX made it easy to capture the input of each guest and provide a seamless ability to edit and structure the content with minimal technical input. With just a few clicks I was able to edit a flawlessly edited, professional-looking video, and have it uploaded to Youtube in minutes. I believe Riverside provides a fine balance of options and configuration choices for seasoned content creators and newbies alike.

What do you like best about the product?
It's the complete solution... Everytime, I think that it could do with something, it seems to appear a week later! Like AI shorts... Was just thinking, it needed them and then they appeared!!
What do you dislike about the product?
NOTHING.. Only possible thing is, we have two of us recording in one location [husband & wife team]. Managing two audio channels from one location via our audio interface. But I am being pciky.. 😂
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
4k exports / Shorts creation / Ai splt screen edits... Just epic...
Riverside has been easy to use and incredibly helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I've been so impressed with Riverside. I use them to record all my podcasts and find it very easy to use. All my guests have been able to use it easily as well. The customer service has been great too. I once contacted Riverside and received a kind and helpful response. Highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally a guest has had trouble logging on. I've had a few internet glitches where Riverside has kicked me off. But these have been minimal and overall, it's been a positive experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's providing a place for me to meet with and record episodes even with those far away. Even if our internet isn't the best, I know the recording will be clear and crisp.
Makes Podcasting SIMPLE
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Riverside.fm offers seperate video and audio for each individual. This makes it so easy to edit my podcasts. I also love being able to skim through the transcript.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't dislike much. Maybe the website has been less user-friendly than I'd prefer but it was easily figured out. I'm still learning but what I have learned has been a huge help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm makes podcasting much more simple. I love that I can seperate both individuals to get a good, clean take. This makes the editing process a lot easier!

What I like best is the ability to create clips.

Editing on the plaform is a bit tricky. The caption does not match the audio.

Its a one stop shop. I don't need to go to other platforms.
Excellent for turning long form content into social snippets
What do you like best about the product?
Records at an excellent quality. The fact that you get 4 individual streams (audio and video separate) with 4 guests gives great flexibility. Easy ability to edit in the back end. Very easy to change aspect ratios after recording and make 9:16, 1:1, 16:9 or 4:5.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you could zoom in on the wav file output and really trim at the exact millisecond, that would help. I think they are getting close to adding that though. It can be finnicky if you don't use Chrome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating long-form content and then turning it into social content snippets that fit each channels best form factor. This can be done without any editing experience at all.

What do you like best about the product?
If you're a podcaster using Zoom for podcasting, get ready for your world to get better! Riverside takes it to a new level with the features and usability. Not only do you get great audio and video but the ease at which you can then create marketing content from the podcast episode is such a time saver! It's a truly great tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option to mark where an edit is needed instead of only being able to mark a spot to create a short clip. This would help me communicate to my editor easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time savings. As someone who produces a lot of content this tool saves me time as it helps me and my team create marketing content from the main piece of content. This makes it easier for me to share about my content in an effective way.
