This software is an indispensable part of my workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Local recordings of each person on the call that are put into the cloud automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
The enterprise price point is a little tough to sell to my team internally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording interviews for marketing content is hard in a remote setting. This makes it painless to record in the highest quality possible without needing to trust the non-technical people we are interviewing.
Riverside was the Perfect Choice for our Podcast Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is great. It is very intutive and easy to use. It has a lot of features at a very reasonable price. High quality & cost effective is hard to find. They also have great customer service. Needs have been addressed in a personal way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting clips via email is a challenge. It can be difficult when sending clips to editors. It would be helpful if they made a way to download clips when using the editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to make a podcast and needed a platform that was able to do high quality video and audio simultaneously. We also didn't want to spend all of our time editing (looking for clips, trimming, transcripting) so the fact that Riverside does these things is very helpful.
Lets me record when wifi is spotty
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Riverside records locally for myself & my guest. I have wifi issues every once in a while and this features saves me from needed to re-record or reschedule!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love editing tools that are a little easier to use for clips
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It takes the hardwork out of recording podcasts. I feel like a pro and have complete confidence in their ability to help me create a polishe piece of content
Riverside simply understands me and how my editor brain works!
What do you like best about the product?
The editor makes it easy to create clips or snapshots. Which is super helpful for when I'm in a flow of creating short-form content or cleaning up the long-form version. Also, the Adobe Premiere export is awesome since it provides high-res/quality assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating clips, that editor "starts" over. It would be more helpful if I could create multiple clips from on editor session and then export those clips seperately or as an adobe premiere file. The screen share videos seem to be low res. Not sure if that's because I'm using the wrong setting. But I've started using a seperate tool for monologs and tech ed videos. If there's something I can do this fix this, I'd love to know.

It produces high quality clips and seperate media files.
The share links make it easy to invite guests into the studio via calendar invite.
The AI clips are nice but I'll be nice when the clipping gets better, requiring less rework.

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside gives you everything you need to produce a great podcast. Great support and plenty of tutorials!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, so far nothing. Riverside is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a one stop shop for creating, editing and hosting my podcast productions.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease and sense of security with Riverside are second-to-none. I've been producing shows across platforms for years now (Zoom, Zencastr, etc etc etc) and none of them match Riverside's efficiency and reliability. I've had every kind of technical malfunction you can imagine and we still come out with spectacular audio -- and guests find it smooth sailing to boot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I confess I do tire of the constant upgrades, constant revisions, constant changes -- the platform is so good, and does exactly what it needs to do, so why make it everything for everyone instead of something really good for the folks who really use it? That said, a minor quibble to be sure!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a one-stop-shop for recording across multiple shows and hosts. While we use a different transcription/editing software, the fact that we *can* use Riverside has also been a huge bonus. It's nice to have something that everyone uses together, and that works for pretty much everyone.
Simple and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is so simple to use it allows guests and presenters to work together super easily, and the benefits of being able to edit online and have a large amount of storage is great

The slight downside of riverside is the cost, for small people it is a bit costly but I understand why the price is the way it is

Riverside is solving not having a collaborative space to work and host and continually store past recordings

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Riverside is excellent fast customer service that responds promptly through chat support and through email support. This compares to competitors in that you receive help faster. The editing software upload videos quickly, and it is easy to navigate when it comes to editing and clipping different Clips, using their smart clip software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes using the software requires more ram and memory than my computer can't handle. My computer is a Samsung. It is very old. That is not really a fall of Riverside bit more father of my computer. And my need to get a new computer or MacBook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solves problems by finding my Clips that I needed to find an recapture audio on. I unplug my headphones, and the audio split, and Riverside was able to recover & merge it.
So easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I'm new to podcasting and Riverside.fm has been so simple to use! It's easy to record, edit, and connect to all of the platforms for my users. I had a super quick and friendly response the one time I've had to reach out with a question.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered any issues so far, my one question was easily resolved.

It's helping me reach more people and helping me to build my brand
Podcast newbie gets going in minutes
What do you like best about the product?
I don't know what I'm doing at all when it comes to podcasts or video editing or any of that. I was able to easily get guests on my show, and I didn't have to worry about the internet connection, sound, or probably a dozen other details I don't even know exist.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I think the only real complain I have is that the transcript doesn't get all of the 'ums and ahhs that people say. I know I can probably do more fine editing, but it'd be nice for all of the pauses to show up in the transcript so I can remove them with the AI in one go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not know how to do a podcast, how to record video, and how to coordinate interviews over the internet. And I don't need to. Riverside does all of it for me and handles the details. It's great.
