What do you like best about the product?
I have been a podcaster for over 2 years before finding Riverside, only using Zoom for recording. Riverside is 100% amazing. The quality of recording, sound, ability to edit live on the transcript and so much more. Love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it drops off or disconnects but able to edit out any technical issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Riverside has been critical to my podcast's growth!

    Reviewed on Jun 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things that first stood out to me was the ability to auto-save the host's and guest's video and audio files. I lived in the mountains for about 100 episodes, and sometimes the internet would be intermittent. On more than a handful of occasions, Riverside saved us from having a great conversation that was never aired. One episode in particular I thought was a total loss, but because our files were auto-saved to the cloud, the episode aired smoothly, and no one would EVER know there was any problem to start with.

I've watched the software progress as their user interface has gotten more intutitve and the additiions to their features are always nicely well done and seemingly made from someone who is actually a user. Plus the monthly price it's a no brainer for all the features you get on top of the recording platform. I implore all of my clients, and every podcaster I connect with, to use riverside because it doesn't make any sense not to!
What do you dislike about the product?
Every piece of software has growing pains and if there's any "dislike" it's simply those growing pains but that's not on Riverside, per se. It is on them in how their team handles that growth and expands the product. Yes, there have been some slow moments but having worked in SaaS and with digital production teams bi-weekly sprints can feel too slow at times. They seem to be on the ball and doing what they can as they grow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest thing is the recording platform that's a great hub "studio" for me as well as the editing tools they have and default info that's pulled from each recording. I use the info provided to start my show notes and will use the magic clips to refine and curate the right ones to fight the episode's message. It's all super easy and fun.

Riverside Made Podcast Editing and Uploading Easy for a Beginner

    Reviewed on Jun 05, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
I’m very new to podcasting, especially when it comes to editing and uploading. Riverside has genuinely made the whole process so easy that even I’ve been able to do it successfully. I’ve published three podcasts so far, and each one has looked better than the last.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m just getting to know the program, and I really like what I’ve seen so far. I’d love the option to upload directly to YouTube with the title, description, and hashtags included. It’s possible this can already be done—I just haven’t figured out how yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has solved all my podcasting problems. I’m now able to put out high-quality shows, and people genuinely think I have a whole crew behind me handling the editing, generating thumbnails, and taking care of everything else.

Riverside Streamlined My Podcast Workflow with Magic Audio and Clips

    Reviewed on Jun 01, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has become a core part of my podcast workflow. The Magic Audio feature automatically cleans up my sound after every recording — no manual noise removal needed. I also noticed that on-screen text (like logos on clothing) displays correctly and not mirrored, which alone cuts 10–15 minutes of post-editing per episode.

    UI / UX
The dashboard gets me from setup to recording in under two minutes. Guests join via a browser link — no downloads, no accounts — so I've stopped losing the first 10 minutes of every session to tech troubleshooting.

    Integrations
Riverside fits cleanly into my internal publishing workflow — I can get a finished recording out without jumping between multiple tools.

    Performance
Because Riverside records locally on each participant's device, a bad Wi-Fi connection no longer ruins an episode. Separate audio tracks per speaker mean I can fine-tune one guest's sound without touching everyone else's.

    Pricing / ROI
At $288 for the annual package, the value is clear — the time I save on audio cleanup and post-production alone justifies the cost.

    Support / Onboarding
Live in-app chat handles most questions quickly. Guest onboarding is so simple I've stopped sending pre-show tech guides entirely.

    AI / Intelligence
Magic Clips automatically pulls highlight moments and formats them for Reels and Shorts — content I used to skip making because it took too long. The Co-Creator feature lets me type "remove all silences" or "make a 60-second clip" and it executes instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside's studio limit is 10 participants total, but only up to 7 can record simultaneously (with some plans capping it lower).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside provides a professional setup for recording videos and podcasts, where participants just click a link and enable their camera and microphone, making it easy to accomplish what we need.

Everything I need in one place. Truly they just keep making it better. This is my third year in a row paying for a membership.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it were easier to drop in audio that I edit outside of riverside into riverside and riverside be able to identify where the audio edits were made and clip the video to reflect the audio. a DREAM. Then I could post to spotify and youtube directly from Riverside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
almost all of my problems. I just wish I could have my producer edited audio on the video from riverside.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the way to schedule, set up and record podcast are so simple to set up and guide through.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would put out there for improvement is the processing speed when making edits. The translation also would be great to be able to adjust later on during processing (sometimes I forget to change the studio language before recording and then I messed up)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was not a podcast recorder before I started using Riverside, HOWEVER now I really can focus of creating the content on the fly without stressing about tech stuff. Basically, I discovered a passion for recording podcasts now

Fast, Smooth Recording Edits and Promo Clips Made Easy

    Reviewed on May 27, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it helps me organize and edit my recordings, often creating clips I can use to promote the show and come up with titles. It runs fast and well, and helps with creating promo or taking out pauses for a smoother finished product.
What do you dislike about the product?
some of the tools that are being tried out for a smoother video still aren't so polished, so i don't really use them. I also wish there was an easier way to add different videos on different tracks for easier editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything has been running smoother and tools added make it easier for me to edit and create promo and have a quicker turnaround time
