Faster productivity.
What do you like best about the product?
Procore has helped speed things up. Defiantly would recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Geared towed generals not subcontractors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking hangs orders.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Exspencive but worth it
Best Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard feature helps control task management, RFI, Submittals and Permit due dates. Mobile app integration allows me to access the program from anywhere. All documents, drawings, logs, notes and accounting are all in one place, no need to go to multiple spreadsheets or files anymore. Procore has a user friendly interface with in program training to help users master software and accumulate CEU credits. The training and CEU credit accessibility is a big plus!
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to bulk move/delete photos. Limited admin features on the mobile app. Some functions do not automatically save, so if computer crashes or page closes for any reason you lose all data entered if it has not been manually saved, this particularly a nuisance when entering long contracts, Purchase Orders or Subcontracts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is a wonderful asset in controlling document flow and access to various parties involved in a project at different levels. With this software I am able to easily monitor the status of documents and permits without having to use different programs or go to a spreadsheet. I feel that this software helps make my job more manageable and helps me to be more productive since it takes less time to complete my tasks in one place, with a single software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As far as Project Management software in the construction industry Procore is one of the best! The ability for a GC to have Procore customize the options and features per each individual client's needs is amazing. This is the most user friendly and the most complete PM Software that I have used. I recommend it to everyone.
The Future of Construction Management is Here
What do you like best about the product?
Efficiency and simplicity. The software ProCore has developed is robust to handle all the drawings the project may require. Procore integrates all of its tools to be synchronized with the project so when changes occur the appropriate parties can be notified, this reduces any likelihood of someone not receiving critical information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dislike is not specific to ProCore but to software in general. If you do not have reliable internet access you are limited in what may accessed. ProCore does mitigate this by being able to download drawings, RFIs or Submittals to your mobile device or tablet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document control. Many companies rely heavily on their software and leaner teams its no more important to make sure document control is constant, accurate, and easily accessible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to them. Inform them of the friction points within your company and they will work with you to find a solution.
Great Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
All the features that project managers need are in the software. From watching, editing and maintaining budgets to getting all the docs in an organized locations for the PM and the field installers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for the field employees was probably the hardest part. Having that been said it only took a few weeks or a month for them to accustomed to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization. Also, the field doesn't rely on the PM to get get them everything they need since their folders on the iPad are updated almost daily.
Great tool to keep the construction project organized
What do you like best about the product?
Great tool to coordinate, manage drawings & other info. With iPads and Procore's online drawings markup/inquiry tools, we saved a lot of time and paper and probably avoided a lot of mistakes and change orders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system is slow -- maybe too many users. Drawings don't always get processed properly as seen in the demos
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have much better info sharing and coordination. RFIs and Submittals are much better managed because they are very automatic. We don't e-mail drawings and docs back and forth anymore
Recommendations to others considering the product:
more flexibility -- multiple schedules,etc.
beneficial
What do you like best about the product?
the photo's and time tracking. Super valuable taking pictures to document work done. Especially when another contractors work goes over it.
What do you dislike about the product?
the procore to procore readability is terrible. My guys on the field can't communicate with me directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit has clearly been in tracking our work through pictures and documentation. It has saved us thousands.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In construction it seems more geared to general contractor then subs but still useful.
Procore's selling points
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for people in the office and in the field. Easy way to keep up and track submittals, RFIs etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that the training videos are not up to date with the Procore interface. Makes training of subcontractors and supervisors very difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Submittal entry, approval and follow up. Keeping subcontractors up to date with drawings and specifications
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best project management software out there. Easy to learn.
Great program but lacking in some areas
What do you like best about the product?
- Mobile Friendly - It allows access out in the field for some components
- Organized structure - Allows for an organized flow of paperwork and tracking.
- Procurement tracking of subcontractors and PO's - Allows easy tracking to verify a sub is not overbilling
- Tracking of RFI's and as-builts - Seamless tracking with architects and designers

What do you dislike about the product?
- Lack of a cost plus option - No cost plus contract or billable option with cost plus clients.
- Lack of keeping track of cost vs billable hours - No option to keep track of what an employee actually cost you vs a billable rate.
- Easy of access to directory when adding PO's and Subcontracts - If the subcontractor is not already in the directory you have to back out and add them. Just more mouse clicks that reduce productivity
- Not customizable - Most forms and exported information comes in their format only. You have to pay additional money to have a forms customized, etc.
- Nickle and dime. I felt like too many items are an added cost. Certain modules, custom forms, etc all come at an added cost which doesnt leave you walking away with a great feeling.
- never had a chance to try out the estimating module - Just another added cost.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore allows for a mobile friend, cloud based software program that keeps all of the company documents organized and in one place. It really allows you to be more organized and focus on what you need to focus on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would review what specifically your company requires on a day to day aspect and review other programs. Corecon was a great program but wasn't as easy or intuitive to use as Procore - more of an expert level to use day in and day out.
Great but doesn't cover all needs
What do you like best about the product?
The budgeting tool is great. It allows for financial visibility when linked to Quickbooks. When used correctly, the budget tool really does give a level of insight that many programs do not. It just needs to be in the app too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't perform well enough for federal construction requirements - where the paperwork is different, rendering a lot of the PDFs useless. Also daily reports aren't interactive, meaning, when they are emailed out, they are not interactive. Pictures need to be downloaded, so people don't actually then see them! Who wants to go through the extra step of downloading images when you get 15+ daily reports as the Executive team does? They need to follow the model of Basecamp's messages with their daily reports where they are a much more collaborative tool than they are now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have more financial visibility into projects because of the budgets. While they require more visibility, and clarity, they are a step in the right direction. The budgets would be great on the app as well, at least a summary of them. The app does not provide any financial visibility, which makes it useless for Project Management in the field. PM and Executive teams need to have access to financial data at all times, even (especially) in the field.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared to spend time in the implementation. It is extensive and takes a lot of in depth knowledge. Also, please know that once implemented, they promise a quarterly account review that never occurs.
Easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
The training provided is very helpful when setting up new projects
What do you dislike about the product?
there is nothing I dislike about this product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease in tracking approvals
