Procore has optimized how out construction management team works
What do you like best about the product?
The visabity it gives our back office team into what's going on in the field. If schedules change, the field team can request schedule updates in real time. This helps usoptomize our schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve some of our subcontractors have utilizing the playform. We spend a lot of time getting them familiar with the platform and sometimes take their RFIs or submittals and upload them for the subs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're improving our QAQC efforts company-wide. The way the inspections tool, observations, and punch lists are interconnected has helped us catch issues in the field in real-time with less rework needed.
Data at your fingertips
What do you like best about the product?
The wealth of data available and the report writing features are what I find most valuable in Procore. Not to mention have all correspondence and information in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to write reports like those shown in the Company Portfolio is the most frustrating thing I've found. We would love to be able to write reports combining the data we have across all our jobs in Procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Margin analysis is now so much more in depth than it ever was before. People are also collaborating and sharing information in a better way. The ability to automate distribution of reports to various teams is something we use every week.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore covers all the bases for our operations and gives our customers insight into the project along the way. Being the market leader in this area means more products connect with procore and more subcontractors are familiar with it. It allowed us to grow without adding significant amounts to our payroll
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a complete solution comes with a price so it's a matter of the justification of that cost. Being cutting edge means there are occasional glitches but nothing outside of expectations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to grow over the last several years without adding new positions. The time savings in bidding the project alone made us way more efficient on bid day and allowed us to look at more work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a thorough analysis, it is not cheap, most things that are best in class aren't, but the efficiency gained is worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore is very similar to Plan Grid, Viewpoint, and other construction online software solutions. Procore has a more robust capacity for the larger jobs where it does not slow down as much, and the pricing is based on the company, not the user. There is a very good toolset that meets most of our needs (see dislikes for the needs it does not- they are minor).
What do you dislike about the product?
I only have a couple of dislikes which are minor. The first one is that graphically you cannot color code QC items for the various parts of our scope. This means that a finisher will have to click on each QC item to see if it pertains to his scope and is not framing and hanging. There are some workarounds, such as assigning the items to different people, but when you are on the slab looking to fix your work, it would really help to see which items are yours on the drawing. The second item I'd like to see is the ability to compare drawings on the computer. You can compare on the iPads, but the feature is not available on the computer. If it is available, it is hidden very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve most of our problems using Procore. We can update drawings, post RFIs, add shop drawings, sort drawings by area, add different sets for different purposes, post QC items, track deficiencies, and so much more. It is the best solution I have used.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look at all of the software solutions comparing each. There are pros and cons to all. Procore is a solid solution and my favorite that I have used.
Variety of Tools and Resources!!
What do you like best about the product?
ProCore is a great platform and software for businesses that have multiple users simultaneously. It registers all that is done and keeps people accountable while providing great tools and resources for project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to list a dislike when it comes to this program.. I could say that they could simplify some areas of the modules to become more user-friendly. Other than that, I do not have any complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ProCore allows the company I work for to work directly with project managers out-of-state and -out-of-country. Communication and overall understanding have improved since we started to use ProCore.

Procore is an excellent tool for project management, accounting, and overall tracking/organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of navigation, and set up. Support and training videos are excellent.

Some items on the website are not available on the mobile app

Jobsite information consistancy and RFI and submittal workflows are problems we have solved. Tracking change events have allowed us to better document the impacts of delays and decisions that we can share with stakeholders.
I have used Procore for all my Project Management duties for the last year.
What do you like best about the product?
The organizational tools are invaluable. Procore allows you to track and manage endless amounts of information in one easy-to-navigate page.
The system we were using prior required no fewer than 45 individual clicks to create and catalog a single RFI. Procore has reduced that to 10-12 or fewer! The time savings in this regard is invaluable.

What do you dislike about the product?
The emails sent through Procore are some of the ugliest and hardest-to-read emails I have ever seen in a professional capacity. We must coerce many of our subcontractors into reading them. The generated emails in Procore do not have any sensible flow, and the reader must visually mine the body of the email to find the relevant information. There is room for improvement in the current system, but a complete artistic and organizational overhaul may be more appropriate. The Procore email system is very off-brand when compared to the streamlined and tidy interface that is the web app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Procore daily to solve my organizational needs. The ability to quickly reference any job-related document and track communication surrounding that document has made it easier and quicker to answer questions, process change orders, and distribute submittals and other such items.
