Easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Solarwinds provides us with the most accurate data real time and creates the incidents the moment it detetcts something is not working.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish that once it opened all the tickets when a system went down, it would also close them once it detected the systems were up, or if it would add comments or notes to say it has resolved, or lower the priority,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The proper noc teams get notified when something goes down and that improves the resolution time.

Solarwinds gives us a modern, more functional tool for monitoring our network devices

What do you like best about the product?
Get reports, alerts and history on network outage issues
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was the ability to flag the incidents for flapping, so it would group the incidents together
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solarwinds is how we monitor our routers, switches and servers for their network connectivity. We have gotten a much bigger understanding as to when issues on the network have arose.

I love the geolocation the app can give to allow us to view where the issues are in real time

The popularity of he product has declined in recent years

We can see where the network issues are, we can move to fix any concerns before they cause customer impacts

Great Service and Integration for Network Health and Support

What do you like best about the product?
The real time monitoring of my clients' network health and performance is very easy to manage and read.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any complaints about this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been working to eliminate/lessen network downtime and performance issues. The benefits have been that we are able to do these things with ease as well as create incidents to quickly address any issues in ServiceNow.

What do you like best about the product?
Netpath which helps you to understand where you may have a problem into the network. Therefore, you will optimize your troubleshooting and incident resolution time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Control panel interface should be more attractive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
App and infrastructure capacity and troubleshooting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reliable and helpful tool which will let you keep you businesses running without big surprises!

What do you like best about the product?
We use solar winds for all of our monitoring. I am able to select and deselect interfaces on networking equipment. This is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s slow and clunky. May take a long time to query searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitor critical devices.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a total package for Admins and Cyber Security analysts to use to ensure server health and safety.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires proper installation to properly work and training once everything is up and running. Ensure you purchase that if electing to go with this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to effectively monitor and protect DOD servers. This tool van be displayed on a big screen and monitored easily without having to make trips to the server room. And allows for easy troubleshooting as well as incident response.
