Algolia Review - Searchandiser
What do you like best about the product?
I find Algolia simple and easy to use, I love that any rules implemented are integrated to the live site immediately and the analytics features make it easy to review how customers are responding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly dislike anything about Algolia, however the basic plan does have a lot of limitations so am looking forward to uprading to Premium to make use of the full suite of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algolia is solving the problem of helping customers find products with ease on our site and also in displaying more relevant options to each user.

What do you like best about the product?
We use algolia on our website because of its easy search and natural language processing capabilities. it is very efficient and fast in retrieving queries. easy implementation.

nothing as such all features are good for our requirements

Very intuitive, easy interface, great analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to navigate especially for front end users. UI is very intuitive, and endless, indepth supporting documention available. Support desk are very responsive. Love the analytics and testing environments, makes it easy for us to simulate and test changes for fast implementaiton.

I would love to see more metrics available on A/B tests.

Improved search experience, helping how customers find what they are looking for faster. This is improving our click position, CTR & CVR

Easy adjustments for synonyms. Easy access to searches without results.

I like how easy it is to pin products in a product listing and how well it syncs up with data.

Algola is super data driven. You need someone dedicated on your team whose sole purpose is manaing Algolia.

Writing custom rules that pin what search listings we want to push is valuable.
Algolia is a very reliable, scalable solution to search-related problem

It is fairly easy to use, has been very reliable and has provided us with a very smart and innovative replacement for our previous services. It is very performant and has a lot of features for aggregating and ordering lists of objects that come in handy, when trying to provide the best possible UX
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a small hiccup with one of the list ordering features, which wasn't actually solved. We contacted customer support, but they didn't take much action as it was working somewhat according to design. Maybe some of the documentation was misleading, however we managed to find a way around it pretty easily, due to the convenient API

It solves the problems of optimizing the search experience in speed and reliability, as well as reacting to the users' input. Using it for searching purposes we benefit from relevant searches acompanied with inisight into what the users find relevant

Great support team, great documentation and sdk to help implement. Intuitive modern UI.

It could push more USP features particularly on search. It's hard to know what you can/can't do.

Used within react native as documentation is good as support service very good and responsive

Helpful about algolia is fast and search has query suggestion index which is very helpful for user and also there is a facets and its easy to configure

In some cases when you want to make some customization the docs is not very clear also there is no loading state in react native library

Mobile app was slow since we used algolia to fetch data all over the app it turns to fast
