Iterable from a Marketer's POV
What do you like best about the product?
One of the great qualities about Iterable, is that they not only listen to what marketer's need, they anticipate it needs, and put action behind it by adding new features & tools to the platform continously. I look at my account manager & solutions archetit as an extension of my team. They're always ready to jump in, and roll up their sleeves for a working session.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's very little downside to the platform. The one thing that can be improved is reporting (message insights, device type, and heatmaps).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable makes it much easier and faster to push out A/B and multivariate test, compared to our homegrown ESP platform. We can gather learnings much more swiftly, which has contributed to great strides in the business.
Best Email Platform I've Used In 11 Year Marketing Career
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable allows us to set-up automated email flows which takes the daily work off my plate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tech set-up is complex and takes a lot of trial and error
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to keep in constant contact with our users and allows us to send personalized messages to segments based on their subscription tier and activity in our product
Streamlined Email Marketing with Intuitive UX
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the user experience (UX) and how easy it is to navigate through the various features and tools within Iterable. The drag and drop feature in the email builder is exceptionally user-friendly, allowing for easy tweaks and customizations. I find the setup of journeys to be straightforward, and the AI prompts and tools integrated into the journeys facilitate easy updates and help in streamlining processes. Overall, these aspects make managing email marketing, transactional emails, and embedded messaging tasks quite seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the asset library in Iterable challenging because it currently limits access to only those assets and images uploaded through email builds. If there were a dedicated library section available, it would significantly ease the process of reviewing all available assets more clearly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable to seamlessly communicate with customers through marketing activity updates, ensuring they receive order updates and transactional emails throughout the process.
Excellent Platform for Company Emails
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is so easy to use for all of our company's needs. We use it every day for emails that we send out 5-7 times a week to various groups. When I first started, I found Iterable Academy super helpful to understand how to use the platform and implement different ideas into our emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some kinds of features missing that I think could elevate the platform more, things like countdown timers and animated features that are eye catching in some popular emails that I receive from other businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to be able to set up journeys to send out emails, push notifications, and sms all in the same journey without having to send them all separately or set them up hundreds of times each week for our emails.
Great Email Marketing Program!
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable's layout is super easy to use. I use it daily for campaigns and journeys and it has a lot of features that make it easy to clone and edit these.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more analytics when it comes to pulling multiple campaigns. Also, for segmentation, it would be nice to be able to see the users who are being removed for each filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable helps with our everyday use to email sends.
Iterable Plaza a Knowledge and Collaboration Hub for Iterable Users
What do you like best about the product?
Advanced personalization and ease of campaign creation
What do you dislike about the product?
the learning curve, challenging for new users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation in the personalization of campaigns, data integration, makes the most complex flows easy
User Friendly and efficient!!
What do you like best about the product?
The clean user interface is a big highlight! I have been using Iterable every day for the past 3 years. It was easy to implement it into my day to day. It is also integrated with our data exploration platform, which helps others from our organization view campaign metrics when needed!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the user lists we upload don't upload completely and there is a certain lag once in a blue moon!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization uses Iterable for multiple purposes! My team specifically uses it to reach out to the contact base of our customer on behalf of them in order to gather reviews.
Robust features
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can easily duplicate campaigns and use the same content across different journeys. I also like that I can easily A/B test or run experiments on campaigns and journeys.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the login process to be very challenging. I dread logging in every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing us to write, schedule, and launch emails at scale. We send hundreds of thousands of emails each week via Iterable.
Braze has given me granular data about my campaigns and lifecycle
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable can get really granular with its reporting and segmentation. It's friendly to go from anywhere in the platform to the most detailed aspects of a user interaction with comms and events.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation could have a better search system. It was really hard to find some articles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable can show me what a customer did at any point in time. That's is really important when we are trying to be accurate with reporting on the customer journey.
It's a feature-rich, omnichannel marketing platform in a simple, intuitive package.
What do you like best about the product?
You can put a lot of the "thinking" behind your campaign and user management into Iterable. Specifically, the segmentation and personalization capabilities are phenomenal and really set the platform apart from its competitors. Whether you need to use event or user fields, you can easily create dynamic lists that users enter/exit as they evolve or create conditional logic that's as complex as is needed to make your campaigns work for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and analytics tools, while powerful, sometimes lack the depth or customization that would make them truly insightful for all use cases. For example, building custom reports or filtering data across multiple campaigns can require workarounds. My complaints in this corner of Iterable are more quality of life issues than capability issues, though. If you can't get everything you want in terms of reporting and analytics, there's probably a third-party integration or way to use the API to get what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a developer by trade, so I love the handlebars and merge parameters. It can be a bit of a learning curve for those not accustomed to managing logic in this way, but I have done some crazy data manipulations and personalization work that took a subpar data schema and turned it into the personalization outcomes desired by marketers.
Specific to the marketing tools, I like that it's flexible enough that I can follow the heuristics of the platform as a means to an end. For example:
- There are intuitive error messages when you're missing something.
- You can keep it simple or make things complex as needed.
- It's easy to marry internal features to outside web services.
