What do you like best about the product?

I love this platform for its capability to translate most of the major languages from one to another. This platform is really helpful in cross cultural organization where peoples from different parts of world comes to together. It enables user to effectively communicate and also increase the capability of the teams to collaborate better with efficiency. I love the features of this platform which enables us to effectively and accurately translate the languages for instant use. I also love the part where we can translate text to another language text. Other than this I also love the capability to translate the language of the files which we can do by directly uploading the file. The platform is user friendly and the onboarding of this platform was also quick. I also love the part of this platform where it can provide live transcription. This enables to record during a meeting. I love the performance of this platform and I feel that the pricing of this platform is moderate. I also love the ability of this platform to integrate with various other platform. I also love the capability of this platform to summarize using this platform.

What do you dislike about the product?

I love most part of this platform but I wish that this platform have more conversions mode where we can balance speed and accuracy. I also wish that some more local languages are supported by this platform. I also wish that the android download was as powerful as its browser version. I wish that the platform can auto detect languages.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

This platform solves multi cultural exchanges. It enables user to communicate better and allows functioning of the team to become more powerful. This platform makes us less worried about different language communication. Other than this AI of this platform improves the efficiency of the users for a correct and efficient writing. Meetings can also be transcribe by using the DeepL voice. The mobile platform can also be improve a little more.

It's virtually omnipresent in my laptop and in most app I use.

I would love if it could provide at least two alterntive translations.

I am happy to have it API in Trados, which significantly speeds up and improves my translation efforts.

I work as a customer service agent primarily in English and Spanish, but sometimes I receive emails or chats in other languages, I used DeepL to translate them and so far it has worked wonders.

nothing to dislike at all. It works so well and fast and easy there is no way to dislike it.

Resolve issues of inaccurate translations and lack of context. It benefits me by offering more natural, clear, and reliable translations, which facilitates communication and saves time.

I really like the ease of use with DeepL. It's very easy and direct, working with almost everything on my PC and even my phone, which allows me to work on the fly. DeepL has become a valuable asset for me, especially when sending legal or sensitive information that needs to be translated from English to Spanish without losing coherence. I appreciate how it integrates seamlessly with tools like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Firefox. The initial setup is very easy and intuitive, integrating seamlessly with my other AI tools to enhance my work. I have not used customer support, but from what I've heard, it is simple, and easy to contact DeepL when needed, or if questions arise. I use DeepL on a daily basis.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes DeepL can lag, and you need to basically log in again to use the tool. Additionally, whenever you translate a document, you often lose the format. This nags me a lot, if not always.

DeepL solves language barriers, facilitating communication in my organization. It enables seamless knowledge transfer and information sharing where not everyone speaks English.

What do you like best about the product?

I appreciate how easy the Chrome widget is to use. It lets me translate any selected text on a webpage instantly, without needing to switch tabs. The widget automatically detects the language of the selected text and supports more than 30 languages. In the settings, I can choose my target languages, customize shortcut keys, and enable or disable pop-ups or floating icons as needed. The ease of use is perfect for a high-paced working environment. I use it every day for short words or phrase translations.

What do you dislike about the product?

The pop-ups and floating icon features can sometimes be confusing/frustrating, especially when translation isn't needed. Additionally, certain functions such as full-page translation or more advanced style options are only available with a DeepL Pro subscription. There are also occasional delays, instances where text doesn't translate immediately, or minor bugs that appear in specific situations.

The DeepL Translator Chrome extension is particularly valuable for customer support teams operating in fast-paced settings, as it enables them to quickly comprehend and reply to messages in various languages without interrupting their workflow. Previously, I would lose time constantly switching between tabs to translate each sentence during conversations with customers. It was frustrating to have to move back and forth between tabs and languages just to keep the conversation running smoothly in real time.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the shortcut on Windows and MacOS to translate and replace selected text, and the option to set DeepL as the default translator in iOS. I also appreciate the ability to select whether I want a formal or informal translation for German, which allows me to translate English into the wished form depending on whom I'm writing to. One of the standout features for me is its speed; it saves me a lot of time in my day. Additionally, the setup was easy.

What do you dislike about the product?

The app crashes regularly and requires a force quit of the app. It's random.

I use DeepL for translating emails, IMs, and documents. It translates and replaces selected text quickly, saving me time daily. I can choose between formal and informal German translations, which lets me tailor my communication depending on whom I'm writing to.

The best AI translation tool. period.

I like that DeepL gives very natural translations with almost no effort. It keeps the meaning and tone really well, and it’s fast. It just feels more accurate than most other translators I’ve tried.

I dislike that DeepL sometimes misses context in longer texts, and the free version has a few limits. It also doesn’t support as many languages as some competitors. But overall, still very good.
