Great solution to website traffic problems. Easy to use and implement.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to implement. Great customer service for your backend questions, and great customer interface on the front end. Easy solution to site traffic problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
HTML coding experience is required to customize waiting room templates. Many of the best features require a subscription which is fairly expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product releases are smoother and easier for both customers and our sales staff.
Easy to Use with FANTASTIC Support
What do you like best about the product?
We've used hundreds of different softwares over the years. And you rarely come across support staff like these guys. Their replies were fast, concise, answered every question, and solved any integration issue we came across. It made the whole onboarding a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our only issue with the system would be the basic look of the non-custom templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had issues with sudden bursts of traffic taking our eCommerce stores offline. Launches or Viral hits would cripple our systems, significantly affecting the ability to profit from the popularity. Using their waiting room software fixed everything, we let people onto our site in a controlled manner and made more sales than ever.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While CrowdHandler might not be the best-looking Waiting Room - they make up for it in their supportability and pricing structure. With a much lower barrier to entry, and at no point did we ever feel like they were trying to push a sale or upgrade. I'd highly recommend giving them a try!
Did exactly what we required
What do you like best about the product?
As an online election platform, we expected a huge spike in users for a 24 hour period, crowdhandler allowed us to protect our infrastructure, without confusion for our users. Having the ability to place users in a virtual waiting room allowed us to manage the use of our service effectively, without worrying that the spike would affect our day to day users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything to dislike, we needed this service, and they delivered when required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking after our infrastructure to ensure that a fair use of our service was taking place.
Great setup experience. Fast, efficient support.
What do you like best about the product?
We operate a ticketing platform that generally doesn't see huge spikes in traffic. We got last minute notice of an event going on sale the following day, with a huge demand for tickets. To err on the side of caution, a virtual waiting room was the best option, to ensure that we didn't overload our infrastructure and cause issues for users. After reviewing other platforms -- most of which had a very lengthy process for setup, including a mandatory sales call -- we found CrowdHandler. We were able to get an account set up in a couple of minutes and integrate changes into our website shortly after to begin testing.
We had some outstanding questions after completing setup and we were able to schedule a 7am call with Jake (2 hours before the on-sale time). Jake was great help and coming from a ticketing background was able to relate to the challenges faced. Jake provided good advice and answered any questions that we had before going live.
Since this on-sale, we left CrowdHandler operating on our site, based on a slow request threshold. This has already paid dividends. In the past week the unexpected announcement of a lineup for an event triggered a huge spike in demand, which we were able to handle comfortably with CrowdHandler.

We haven't experienced any negatives so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CrowdHandler has enabled us to protect our infrastructure from huge and unexpected surges in demand. This allows us to keep our ticketing site running stably, while managing customer expectations as they try to create a transaction.
