Creative freedom + bulletproof automations in one powerful platform
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about n8n is how much creative control it gives you without forcing you into a rigid system. You can build anything, from basic automations to smart AI-driven flows! and still feel like you’re fully in charge. It’s flexible, visual, and powerful at the same time. For me, it’s the perfect mix between low-code simplicity and developer-level control. I love that I can experiment, break things, fix them, and grow real ideas fast, without waiting on complex platforms or paying for overpriced tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, based on the kind of work I’ve done so far with n8n, I haven’t run into any real issues. Everything ran smoothly and did exactly what I needed it to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used n8n to build a full AI voice agent that makes phone calls using OpenAI, VAPI, and Twilio. Everything runs inside a single n8n workflow, and it works flawlessly. It helps me automate complex call flows, saves me hours of manual work, and gives me the freedom to scale as a solo freelancer.

I have a specific bug when using your software on my device where the local file trigger does not work but i have found a local work around solution and would love to share.

A very efficient Automation tool for AI

Helped me complete the connection work of a large number of APPs and the relatively more free nodes

1. When i use the vector store Node，like Qdrant，I found that there is no delete and update interface provided for me, so when the document information changes, there is no way to directly complete the update operation of the document.
I can't even call the delete method to delete it manually because the insert interface does not return the corresponding Id value.
I hope the official can update this part of the interface, because an effective RAG system relies heavily on this function.
2. I also saw that someone can complete the connection between vector and LLM through Code Node and LangChain Node. I hope the official can provide more documents to help users complete the connection.

n8n is the benchmark to which make.com and other services are striving to reach
What do you like best about the product?
People say n8n is more complex than make.com, however, in reality they are both incredibly simple. The only reason people say n8n is more complex is that is has more customisability. This helps massively, as with make.com I'm always trying to scrap together scenarios where I have to mess with JSON strings using un-wieldy functions, which work in obscure ways. Furthermore, with no inherent code writing integration, not even AI can help you. n8n shines in the regard, and blows make.com out of the water.

Nothing so far. I've had an all-round great experience making AI Agents

Robust program with an awesome community and strong capabilities plus you can self-host it.

There is a bit of a learning curve compare to Zapier or Make, but it is totally worth it

For sure, n8n is great for automation, has hundreds of templates ready to use, and is open source.

The Ai assistant must be more advanced and insert a technical code solution, not just give you a text to read

I think, there could be a little more integrations but still nowadays implementing them myself with llm isn't too difficult anyway.
